For starters a few of those in management positions, don't care about their customers or tenants and have poor attitudes. However, the attitudes can be tolerated when things go how they should. Let's start with all that went wrong with this company. Upon move in our carpets were dirty. We took pictures and emailed them to the the management team. During move out, they charged us for the carpets. When we moved in the vegetable door was broken in the fridge, we complained prior to moving in. Yet, they charged us for the fridge. That's not my biggest gripe with the company. It's how they handled the move out experience. 90 days prior to our lease expiring, I contacted them to see if our rent would rise. They said, they won't let us know, until 30 days prior because they need to do an inspection. The inspection happens, they raise the rent. My wife and I decide, we can find better housing for that price. I knew we were inside the 90 day window, so I wanted to make sure we would not be penalized. I called and spoke with the manager, I asked her if we would be penalized since we were inside the window. She said it's close enough, and we are around the holidays, no penalty would happen. We sent in our information to let them know we would not be renewing. We move out and months later we were slapped with a massive bill. A bill on top of the deposit we made. The most egregious item on the bill was them charging us for the next months rent because we broke the lease without enough notice. Despite me calling and asking AND emailing them as soon as we received the new rent rate. We sent them multiple letters, called multiple times, no return call. Like what company doesn't have the decency to call you and discuss this? One that is trying to pull one over on you. I send a big package to them with everything that has happened. No response. Fast forward four months and I am getting a call from a collections agency to pay FGC the rent they say that I owe. What a terrible experience. Imagine, if you treat your tenants like this, how you'll treat people who haven't done business with you. Please, I urge you, look elsewhere. You'll thank me later

Their cleaning standards are far below acceptable! They wash duvet covers 4 times a YEAR, which is disgusting with so many guests in and out. I stayed at my property and was extremely upset at what I saw upon arrival. The floors had spilled pop on it, toothpaste on bathroom floor, hairs in the kitchen, unwashed coffee and end tables, empty toilet paper dispenser, mismatched bedding , dirty stained towels, and worst of all was the uncleaned showers in all 3 bathrooms. The shower doors were never cleaned and had soap and shampoo dripping over it. There was also air filters that had never been replaced and full of dirt and dust. I have pictures to back up each claim. I immediately contacted Chris to let him know of the uncleaned house. He said his cleaners were "good enough" and stop complaining. So I immediately fired him and hired another property manager the following day. Then I spent the first 2 days of my vacation cleaning and disinfecting the house properly. After I fired them I was denied my monthly statements and end of the year statements needed to file my taxes. I had to contact the DBPR to file a formal complaint. Their lack of professionalism is apparent in all ways. So, for guests wanting to stay at a property they manage, I say save yourself the hassle of staying in an unsanitary house. As for home owners looking for a property manager, I say don't risk your biggest investment with unprofessional managers like Chris. They will be rude to your guests and cost you money with unhappy guests wanting to leave. As for my 1 star review, there was no option for 0 star.

For starters, when we arrived the furniture was holding by on by a thread, or rather screws that were dangerously sticking out. And some of our pillows had makeup and scents like they hadn't been washed. And there was hair in all of the beds (however the new linens were spotless so their excuse didn't really make sense in the end) and there was hair on the walls of EVERY shower. New linens were brought out but smelled terribly of plastic so we had to wash them before use. Turns out, there was standing water and mold in the washer. On top of that, we had to throw out half of our groceries due to a freezer issue and since they didn't give an arrival window the first time (traveling with littles and trying to coordinate nap time uninterrupted) I told them there wasn't any use to come out because the food was already trashed. I tried calling and was told we would be contacted but never happened. Only a repeat that they wouldn't credit any of our trip because I told them not to come out for the freezer. (Not sure how they were going to fix our food anyway) Overall, completely disappointed in the rental and the company for the money we paid. I highly recommend searching for another agency.

Too many bad things were done to us. We gave them so many chances to make it right but they ignored/abused us. They damaged our stuff badly, left major plumbing issues not repaired while they were fully aware of something growing in the plumbing breakage from photos/videos & left it that way. We have written many times to have them settle up w us for a product/service that was not delivered at all and fully breached contracts by them. We have never been treated so badly & like we didn't count or exist. I'm not sure if I am allowed to do this on this site but the level of damage caused to us required us to do a site to show it. It was originally put together to share w an attorney which we have done, but the site shows it all. A small summary from our last letter to them of what was done to us is below but if you want more info/photos, go to our site listed at the bottom. 1) Constantly neglected & stalled important plumbing & other maintenance despite what was contractually spelled out as necessary & your responsibility despite constant & consistent written reports from us & caused several health hazards from it plus the limiting of sq footage, space & usable appliances we paid for. Actively prevented & interfered in repair even when we offered to do it at our own expense & then left it sitting broken & growing things & a health risk throughout the entire set of leases. 2) Caused out of control mold growth in the unit w severe botched maintenance while you had allergic tenants living there & you knew about the allergies to the point that in writing we requested to paint & carpet ourselves with permission from the owner/Bella Trae, to be sure we had all new things (that you ruined through repetitive botched water based maintenance), You ignored multiple written notices of the material growing in the cracked pipe. 3) Abused and neglected tenants you knew in writing were allergic, autistic and blind, 4) Ruined our furniture and belongings that had to be left behind so we were not further closely exposed to them on moving and we did not expose junk haul away people to that (as these molds require protective gear according to what we have researched) as well as locked us out a day early after we paid for that day which caused us to lose many things and then charged us to haul away what you made us leave behind a full day before our lease ended, 5) Charged us for the belongings you ruined and now have not made any move at all to contact us or get us our money back in any way while we told you to contact us to arrange this by this email and pickup, in essence stealing our money after severe tenant abuse & health hazard exposures through maintenance abuse/neglect, 6) Locked us out of the site portal completely so we cannot see our account, without sending anything regarding our requested settlement or security deposit to the email we asked you to send to upon turning in our keys, that you have had for the entire time (8 months now). 7) Locked us out of the unit earlier than the end of the lease even though we paid through the end & you reviewed us as people who paid in full & were good tenants to another realty firm right before that. June 30th goes through 11:59 PM and only began at 12:01 am but you locked us out at 12:00 am before we got all of our belongings. If it were not for me reading the riot act to the person at the speaker at the gate and threatening legal action and bringing police with me, more of our things would have been left behind. 8) Blew us off when we asked you if there were any available rentals in the same area as we explained that we needed to stay close to our work. You emailed back that nothing would be in our price range. Since you had not reviewed our income in months at that point, how would you know what our price range was to reject us that way? Funny we were able to qualify for something more expensive than your place ever was. Furthermore, if you thought of us at that time as good tenants with no problems and reported us as always paying on time to MC Realty and that you would rent to us again (we have the notes they took on that phone interview-see it on the site) why would you not have helped us as a broker/realtor in this area instead of writing back 1 email blowing us off and then ignoring us after that? It leaves us to wonder what about us was a problem for you way before you ever got our notification of intent to sue you or posting by us of all the things you neglected to service in your lease with us on the walls in the unit on lease end prior to your walk through which you did not allow us to be present for. This property is owned by ppl in the UK and managed by a US company, our property manager happened to be ROBIN JOHNSON, wow what a piece of work this lady was, she laughed on the phone when i told her that the mattresses were not even sleep-able, and basically hung up on me twice after trying to ask her to contact the management company to see what could be done......long story short, they offered us another villa, but could not guarantee the condition of those mattresses, because they stated it was a preference in mattress.....i can assure you when springs are poking your family members in the back and you have senior citizens preferring to sleep on the floor, it is not personal choice....DO YOUR RESEARCH, in the guest book everyone complained about the mattresses, but did not see anything online relating to these complaints.....trip turned out enjoyable either way, we made due.....ENJOY YOUR TRIP!
