At the end of a show big groups of people walk together back towards their cars & it's fun. The food items can be pricey, but a soda for $4, or popcorn, might be the best choices. I tend to sit high up to save money on tickets, and up there part of a sign or screen behind the stage might be blocked by overhead visuals, lighting fixtures. Seats were comfortable. No drink holder. Check the section you're in, it's written on the wall. No railing to hold when walking past other seats. Audio was excellent. One time when I saw Jimmy Buffet the people around me kept talking, but when I saw Weird Al Yankovic he sounded great and I could hear better. I saw a '80s~'90s old school show there once & the BASS was booming, excellent sound. Interesting how they divide the place up for different shows, giant parts of the auditorium/stadium disappear with humongous giant black curtain screens. The place often looks completely different inside, different configuration of seats available. Security & staff are super friendly. Helpful kind people. Escalators go really high up. After the shows the rooftop bars are worth checking out for incredible views & interesting menus.

I don't have many arenas to compare Kia Center to, and I feel like basketball/hockey arenas are a lot more homogeneous than say baseball stadiums. There was nothing here to really knock my socks off like when I took my dad to see the Tigers play at Pittsburgh's glorious PNC Park. But it was a swell time nonetheless. I also don't usually spring for or get freebies for lower bowl seats so it's a bit apples and oranges to try to compare the close to the action seats I treated us to here to the high altitude ones I usually find myself in at Little Caesar's Arena, recently for a game 2 playoff win against these same Orlando Tragic. Sorry, I should try to keep it classy here, especially since my Pistons bought themselves a trip to Cancun in the second round. Anyways we had good seats with nice sightlines. Outside they had a whole fan experience area that seemed many geared to young people but wasn't happening too much. Funny cause there's a kind of party area courtyard outside LCA that's usually pretty sleepy for the games I've been to. Just random stray selfie takers mostly. The pizza stand we hit up was well organized and smooth, letting a big queue move through there pretty quickly, with its system of grabbing premade slices, beverages and snacks yourselves and then cashing out with cards at self service kiosks. There's stands at LCA set up like that but only for beverages and snacks, nothing with food that will serve as a whole meal. I also like this better than the system I encountered at PNC Park in Pittsburgh where you have to preorder and cash out on your phone and then come up when your number is called. The pizza was okay, nothing outstanding but arena and stadium food never really is. You could tell it was an Orlando Magic home game but there was a sizable and vocal Pistons fan contingent there. We actually sat next to a couple of Detroit fans and there were a couple more a couple rows behind us. With Orlando being such a tourist destination I feel like they probably often get mobbed up with fans of visiting teams, at least from the eastern part of the country (and Canadian Raptors fans) especially at certain times of the year. My decibel meter on my phone only maxed out around 100 which isn't too great, though the arena was probably somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 full. No comparison to John Mason player intros back home but all the usual whistles and bells with snippets of rap songs, cheerleaders, youth performers and a dragon as opposed to a horse mascot. Not a bad arena. I wouldn't mind seeing a concert there one night if I ever get the opportunity to see a good one.

I recently was here for a festival and it is a nice stadium and grounds, the rest is a lot to be desired. Getting into the venue was easy but the security wasn't on the same page with the water bottle rules. The site says sealed bottles were allowed but when I tried going through, they made me either throw it out or empty it before I was allowed in. I had to chug my water so I didn't have to pay for an $8 dollar bottle of water!!! The staff was more or less friendly but a lot of them seemed to wanna be anywhere else but there while the event was going on. The bathrooms were absolutely atrocious and should have been cleaned every thirty minutes. There was water and who knows what else, everywhere. Food was pretty good, from the handful of things I had over the weekend, but the prices were ridiculous. They wanted almost $10 dollars for an Auntie Anne's pretzel. Overall its a decent place with some happy workers and decently good food but not a venue I would go to unless absolutely necessary.

( sorry for the late post ) The check in was really easy and the small clear bag policy wasn't an issue. Parking was easy as we parked by the near parking garage and walked maybe 5 minutes to the stadium. We had a really good time at the game watching the pride win and really enjoyed the fireworks and music during the halftime. Food selection was good and the had a variety of Pepsi products and cold beers. I'm looking forward to going to games this year with my daughter as she plays soccers and has not been to a game. On the website it shows the season of 16 games running through November 1,2026 so I will definitely be updating my review for the current season.

It's a great way to get to try Orlando staples such as 4Rivers, Black Rooster Taqueria, Teak and more! The women's team, although arguably better than the men's team, doesn't get a lot of love and they don't open all the seating for them. We sat in the general admission area which faces west and gets sun, but it's nice to be able to pick wherever you want to seat once you're there. The north side is all standing room only. This is where the fanatics and the drum line are keeping the game upbeat and exciting. The west side has dinner included in the price of the ticket. Overall, I can't believe it took me living nearly 8 years here to go to my first Orlando Pride game!

I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

Joe experienced success with the Chicago Cubs from 1906 to 1910, where he won four pennants and two World Series championships. In 1919 Joe moved to Orlando where he managed the Orlando Tigers and operated a thriving real estate business during Florida's land boom years. The field that would become Tinker Field was first used for baseball in 1914. In 1922 Joe Tinker promoted construction of a new baseball stadium to attract teams for spring training. On April 19. 1923, the new ball field was dedicated. At 1.500 seats, the wooden stadium was larger than Yankee field. The field was red Georgia clay with a grass outfield of Bermuda sod. For years the field was used for spring training by the the Cincinnati Reds (1923-1933), Brooklyn Dodgers (1934-1935,) and the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins (1936-1990) and as part of the Florida State League and the Southern League. Many Baseball Hall of Famers played here including Jackie Robinson, Rod Carew, Bert Blyleven, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, and Harmon Killebrew. In 1963, the stadium was rebuilt with 1,000 seats from the 1911 Griffith Stadium in Washington D.C. On March 6, 1964, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke to thousands when he gave his only speech in Central Florida, "Integration Now", from the pitcher's mound. Less than a month later he was assassinated. Tinker Field was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 for its association with baseball and Joe Tinker, who was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. In 2015, the city removed the grandstands and buildings to make room for renovation of the Orlando Citrus Bowl, now Camping World. Tinker Field History Plaza opened in 2018 and the historic baseball diamond and field were landmarked by the Orlando City Council for its connection to the civil rights movement and minor and major league baseball. Marker F-923, Tinker Field was installed in 2016 by the City of Orlando and the Florida Department of State.

What a nice event for Orlando. We went on the last day of the 2020 event and arrived around 2p…read more We were lucky enough to find a close parking spot so we started off great. We had free tix courtesy of a local radio station contest. I can still hear the busy signals in my ear from dialing in. This year, the event was "cashless", which doesn't mean you can't bring cash, but it means you pre-load your bracelet with money that you can use to purchase items from various vendors. It sounds like a good idea, but you have to guess as to how much to load, then do math all day and remember how much you have. When you purchase something, you can ask the person what your balance is. It's nice to not have to get out your wallet every time, but also a pain if you want something that's $7 and you have $6 left. You can't combine "bracelets" either so if someone had $1 left, they'd either have to reload or lose it. There was also a $1 service charge for the privilege of using the bracelet. As far as food options, there were plenty. Various restaurants from around town were there serving up some of their favorites. Gringos Locos, Dixie Dharma, Kaizen Something or other, American Social, Jeremiahs Italian Ice, Jimmy Hula's, and many others were there. It's a great way to try things without driving all over. Many places also had vegan and vegetarian options. There were plenty of wine vendors as well, and those lines were the shortest (or non existent). There was something you could buy that was a sampling of wines for $20. I think they punched or scanned something with each vendor. Most wineries were charging $7 for a glass (plastic cup) of wine. I would think if you want people to try your wines, you'd have it at a lower price point. Are they there to make money or get people to love their wine? (Gringos Locos got it with their $2 Double Decker Tacos, the line was nuts). The event ran till 7 but around 4p, some vendors were already closing up shop. That would be disappointing to me if I was arriving later in the day. There was also Mixed Drinks, Bloody Mary Bars, Beer, Hard Seltzer, and water/soda if you weren't there to get Lit. Prices were good for these options. There were plenty of porta-johns and hand washing stations which is nice. There was a stage with rotating bands. Lots of security as well. I'd recommend going as a nice day out. I wish they'd improve the cashless payment method though. At least let people combine. I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't for that.

There are tons of parking garages and lots in the local area that are within walking distance, most are around $5-7 dollars, so it's not too bad. It's about $20 for entry into the event, which seems a bit steep to me, since you have to pay for tickets for the food and drinks on top of that. Each ticket is $2 and most drinks and food are between 3-4 tickets ($6-8). It's a pretty expensive event overall once you tally up parking, entry and tickets. There are a lot of vendors, especially local vendors, which is great, cause I love to support local. There were about 40 tents, about half drinks and half food. There is a menu of options when you arrive, so you can know what to expect. Overall: B- A good locals event, but a pretty steep price tag on it once you add it all up.

However, around COVID, I decided not to renew, so it has been a few years since I've been to a game. The reps from the team have been in contact with me often over the last several years. The call and they email, asking if I want to buy another season or package of games. Apparently, all my points from lion nation have added up? They said I had credit in my account that I could use towards tickets. I used my credit to get a three game package in the vip section which includes all you can eat and drink (NA/beer/wine). We went to a Saturday game and had a great time. The seats were great- I could see the plays happening and nothing blocked my view. The food has suffered a bit of a decline. No longer do they serve elaborate charcuterie tables, but instead have a few hot items and the typical hot dog plus/minus chili cheese. That night it was pasta, Chicken and waffles and pork taco. The food was just ok. For beverages, their coolers were full all night with water, soda and sparkling water. We did not want to have beer or wine. They do sell cocktails. The lounge experience has gone downhill. It no longer seems like a vip experience because there are just too many people. They have a huge TV now and they got rid of the small merchandise shop. The lounge is unbelievably noisy. It was difficult to find a place to sit and eat. I do like that it has bathrooms, so I don't have to go far and miss the game. The D entrance is nice too- it's private and has clean bathrooms and a way to get to the regular concourse if you desire. I do like the team. I also enjoy the game. However, I don't think the vip experience is worth it. Just get the cheap tickets and eat on the concourse or go out to eat after the game. You can get a great view from many seats in the stadium. I love that you can go to the game on any budget- they have cheap tickets in the supporter section. It's affordable for most people. I will continue to support the team and I will finish my package of games. I still have more credit so I'll invite some friends. But if I buy tickets in the future, it won't be for the vip lounge experience. I'd rather get a suite or sit in the regular seats.
