Towlson responded quickly, and resolved the issue efficiently and affordably saving us a ton of headaches in the process. We have had them run preventative maintenance on the HVAC system a couple of times in the last five years. They've been able to keep our aged AC compressor running efficiently, saving us thousands in repair and replacement costs in the process. When we had a concern about the dehumidifying unit, they came out, made adjustments and corrected a potential issue quickly and cost effectively. Couldn't make a higher recommendation for a company that provides prompt, high quality services and shows they want to work with customers, not just process work and bill jobs. Turnbull's refusal to stand behind their work, their avoidance of accountability, and their unwillingness to escalate customer concerns to management make it clear: this company puts customers last. Avoid Turnbull Heating and Cooling at all costs. Original Review - I am beyond disappointed with Turnbull Heating and Cooling and strongly advise against using their services unless you enjoy paying for poor-quality workmanship and constant repairs. I had my furnace installed by Turnbull in 2021, and it has been nothing but a headache ever since. I've had multiple service calls due to the unit not working, including two terrifying instances in less than a month when the wiring short-circuited and literally caught fire both times (photo attached). Now, in the middle of winter, I'm dealing with yet another issue--this time, the heat strip needed replacement. I decided to call Turnbull because they installed the unit and I assumed they would take care of yet again another issue. While the part was covered under warranty, Turnbull refuses to cover the cost of labor, leaving me with a $419 bill ($169 for diagnostics and $250 for labor). I've never heard of a warranty that only covers parts, forcing customers to pay out of pocket for issues caused by poor workmanship. When I reached out to Amana, the furnace manufacturer, they explained that their warranty doesn't cover labor because they can't verify if the unit was installed properly to begin with. This points directly to Turnbull's shoddy installation and lack of accountability. Save yourself the stress, unsafe equipment, and constant expenses. Avoid Turnbull Heating and Cooling at all costs. Their poor-quality work and refusal to stand by their installations are unacceptable.

When I explained this to them the second time, they said "okay, nevermind, we will send someone today." No one showed up. I called again to make sure they were actually sending someone and I didn't take off another day from work for no reason and she assured me that I was the next stop on the technicians schedule. Nope. Then Rex came out to our house and went over everything with us, he answered every question and concern we had and seemed like he really knew his product and what would fit our needs. The installers were friendly and efficient, it took 2-3 days to complete the job, which included adding another air return and moving heat vent. We've had a few questions since having the job completed and when we call they're always so helpful, including the lady helping me trouble shoot getting the a/c unit turned on for the first time this year since I couldn't remember how to get it out of its winter shut off. They quoted us a price and that afternoon the heater was here. The installer came and installed it. Things went smoothly until we had high winds that night and the pilot light blew out. We relit it and didn't think about, things were good. But wait, then we noticed that the water wasn't hot enough and ran out quickly. They came out again and determined it was a defective valve. With Covid etc, we couldn't get a new valve. Ok, then how about replacing the heater? No, can't get another one! Then Rex showed up! He thought we might have a leak somewhere. He checked every faucet and valve in our house. Then he thought about crawling under the house to see if there was a leak. By now it was dark and cold! Sure enough the leak was under the house! He couldn't fix it that night. But, his crew was here the next morning. Within an hr we were fixed and had hot water again. we can't say enough good things about this family run company! They are TERRIFIC!
