We have been working with Towlson as our plumbing and HVAC go to since moving to Tonawanda. Within the first month of moving in, we experienced a sewer line issue due to the house having been vacant for nearly a year. Towlson responded quickly, and resolved the issue efficiently and affordably saving us a ton of headaches in the process. We have had them run preventative maintenance on the HVAC system a couple of times in the last five years. They've been able to keep our aged AC compressor running efficiently, saving us thousands in repair and replacement costs in the process. When we had a concern about the dehumidifying unit, they came out, made adjustments and corrected a potential issue quickly and cost effectively. Couldn't make a higher recommendation for a company that provides prompt, high quality services and shows they want to work with customers, not just process work and bill jobs. There are very few people I would ever trust with my 88 Year old mothers wellbeing.  Eric from Towlson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is on that list.  His service and attention to detail was extremely professional and honestly something I never expected, but really appreciate. I live 3,000 miles away from my Mom, but when I come home I try and get everything set for her so she's safe and won't have to worry about repairs. With my stepdad's passing 2 years ago, I have been more involved in choosing service folks. I called Towlson and explained to Eric that I was only in town a short time. He managed to schedule an AC/Heat service for the next afternoon! Eric and Mark were on time, knowledgable and extremely nice!  The old Heat and AC service that my parents had used before has, for the past few years, kept trying to sell them a new furnace. But Towlson, after a thorough inspection of Mom's furnace, said it was a very good unit, in good shape and didn't need replacing.  He said that if something were to break, he could get the parts.  Much cheaper than a whole new furnace! I am SO HAPPY I found Towlson! Eric then noticed that the exhaust for the water heater wasn't hooked up.  It was sitting on the floor, further away than if it had fallen off.  I concluded that the only person in the basement, in the last 2 years, was the last service person! (Company has 3 letters in its name and 2 one star reviews...Mom doesn't' want me to say the company because she's a wonderful person).  So for the past 2 years, my mom has been getting slowly gassed with carbon monoxide! Eric immediately fixed this and taped the exhaust pipes so they couldn't be easily removed again.  Was it enough gas to harm my mom? I don't know, but I can't believe the old company took more time trying to up-sell a new heater instead of doing a good, safe job! Totally unacceptable! After the basement, Eric and Mark went outside and cleaned the AC.  Everything is working great and I'm confident Mom is going to stay cool in the heat and warm in the cold! This is where I thought my review would end, but I recalled Eric had mentioned how he could add a humidifier to the heater for a very reasonable Price!  I discussed it with Mom and she said that being too dry has been her biggest winter complaint.  Eric, knowing I would only be here a short time, squeezed me in the following week.  He and Mark were early and got right to work.  You know someone loves their job when they whistle while doing it.  You could hear Eric though the ducts, and he can carry a nice tune!  When finished, Eric fully explained how the unit works.  Mom is actually looking forward to winter to try it out! If you are looking for and Heating, AC, Plumbing company that is professional, experienced and are nice people, Towlson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is your best choice! FIVE stars!!! Plumbing issues are the worst, and you want the problem solved fast. These guys are the best! Last night our sewer backed up in the basement. This morning my husband called Towlson after they were recommended to us. He got through right away, and they were at our house in just a couple of hours. The identified and fixed the problem all in about an hour and a half. They charged us very reasonably as well, which we were definitely happy about. The first couple of plumbers we called were unresponsive. We could not have been more pleased with our experience with this company. Don't waste time. Call Towlson! read more

I cannot say enough about this company. They came to our house and serviced our furnace. They were very courteous and explained every move they made. The furnace then had another issue later in the night and I was able to text them and they came out first thing in the morning. They were awesome to replace the part for free. I feel confident that if I have any problems with my furnace, I can trust Towlson to come out and give me an honest evaluation and provide integral service! When you have a plumbing issue at your house, it's scary because you know plumbers are not the cheapest laborers out there. The first thing I did was go on an app called NextDoor because it's all my neighbors and I asked them, who do you use for plumbing? Then I cross referenced their references on Yelp to see how they stack against other people's experiences. One of the plumbing companies that a neighbor recommended was Frey, which is based here in Clarence. I tried calling Frey and they told me they were short staffed and booked solid so they gave me the numbers of other plumbers THEY trust. I figured if the local plumbing company thinks this is a good plumber and trust worthy, then why not? So I called Towlson and Frey did not steer me wrong.... Towlson came quickly and they got the job done (insert your own "that's what she said" joke). I don't recall the plumber's name who came, I want to say it was Chris but I could be wrong. But the guys who did come were here within two hours of my original call for a foul smell coming from my basement. They investigated it and flushed out a tank down there, they were here perhaps 45 minutes or so. I appreciated that they arrived fast and also worked fast. They got rid of the smell and warned us of another issue we need to address in the future with the plumbing lines. My absolute favorite part? The price. I had mentally prepared myself to be socked with some obscene amount bill, because when you call someone and they come assist you quickly it's usually not cheap. The work wasn't free of course, but it was not nearly as expensive as I had assumed it would be. I was impressed. They came, they solved the issue and they charged a reasonable fee.
