I had been putting off getting a mattress for many years and last week I finally pulled the trigger. When I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by Bill. Now I'm accustomed to salespeople, especially those working on commission, and the tactics they will employ to "close" the deal. From the very start, Bill was very different from your typical salesperson. When I arrived at the showroom I was the only customer. Over the next hour or so, Bill walked me through the variations of beds and what was best for my back. His professionalism and dedication to what he does was simply outstanding and stellar. His patience and diligence, and ensuring that I had all the information that I needed was a breath or fresh air. There was no pressure to "close" the deal NOW!! There was no pushing of products, and no rush to close the deal. He walked me through the entire process and made my decision to return the next day to purchase the bed and mattress a wise decision. Bill was a breath of fresh air and a credit to his industry. The only complaint I have is their outdated compute operating system. No one, and I mean no one uses the DOS application since the late '80s. However, it appears their lack of computer technology translates into savings for the consumer. So, I guess my complaint about the computer system is a minor thing compared to the savings I received from ortho. read more

Then the delivery, did not show up on time which I get people get late but then to not show up with the entire order... I sent everything back and now here I sit over a week later with no refund to my card, even though they said they would rush, nothing, I call and all I get is oh really let me check and I'll call you back, that call back never comes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a shame as I bought another bed from them with no problem but will never go there again. read more

Customer Service in the store when you buy is amazing. But four months later your Matress is sinking and you have to pay $165 in order to get it replaced with the 10 year warranty. So they charge $65 for an inspection where they have to go to your house Check the mattress, check the frame. Then you have to pay $100 to get it replaced if you qualify. If you don't qualify you're out of $65 and you're only allowed to four replacements in the 10 year warranty. They make it sound so wonderful, but it's all fake information. I got a hybrid Matress in April. It started sinking in September 2024. $700 plus delivery it ended up being about $900. What a waist of money and time. read more

WARNING !! Be extremely careful when buying a mattress especially from Ortho. Also consider finding a different manufacturer other than Aireloom. It is an overpriced piece of garbage with a false warranty. While I found Bill to be knowledgeable and friendly, I laid down for their program while spending $5400 for a mattress that created a back pain that I have never had before. From day 1 I started getting the pain but thought that I need to adjust to the mattress. I ended up making weekly visits to a chiropractor and even ended up going to my Dr for xrays, CT scan and MRI to find out what is going on?? I am a completely healthy 67 year old man with no medical issues until now. Both my Dr and 2 different chiropractors confirmed that my pains were probably caused by my mattress. I went on vacation for 4 days and noticed that sleeping on a Beautyrest mattress in the hotel room, that all of my back pain was gone immediately. The night I got home and went to bed, once again my backpain started immediately. I reached out to Ortho and they sent out an expert to check my mattress. This man showed me the deficiencies in the mattress, he identified 2 low spots, 1 high spot and multiple soft spots. Once he turned in his report I received a letter from the manufacture turning down my claim. Keep in mind that this mattress isn't even 1 year old. So basically I spent $5400 for a piece of garbage with no warranty. With some research I have found that this piece of junk only costs the manufacturer approx $600 to produce. Nice mark up. I should have trusted my gut feeling on this purchase...I brought a Cal King, frame and box spring for over $1300 and less than a year later the mattress is warped, no longer firm (I bought extra firm to start with) and come to find out the box spring is made of a cheap cardboard underneath. I found this out as I was changing my sheets, lifted up the mattress and noticed the box sounded hollow...sure enough cardboard. I have read prior reviews on the same thing happening to others less than a year in and trying to return the mattress being incredibly difficult with no luck in having the company assist or deny their claim. Very disappointed and I can now see why their initial push in sales is due to wanting to sell low quality mattresses for a high profit. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNETHICAL. RUDE. Don't shop here unless you want to get insulted and ripped off. Go to Mattress Firm or Ashley Furniture! We bought a $5,000 mattress from Ortho knowing we had 100 days to exchange for a different one. These guys are crooks and liars. The worst thing is that their store manager Bill CALLED US FAT on TWO separate occasions when we were trying to process our exchange within 100 days and suggested that maybe we weren't happy with the mattress because we needed to lose some weight. Are you KIDDING ME?! Nevermind that we're in decent shape...You'd never expect to be spoken to this way at any business. Quite frankly we were both in a state of shock hearing this two separate occasions and chose not to address it to avoid confrontation in the store. Needless to say they refused to process our exchange and said "maybe you should see a chiropractor". Clearly they were just manipulating us and attempting to push us outside of their warranty exchange period at which they were successful. This ridiculous and unethical behavior was reported to the regional manager Zaman and the VP Cliff who did not care and have not done ANYTHING to resolve the matter. Seriously, take your business elsewhere. A complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau. read more
