*****Terrible Warranty Service and Poor Quality Mattress ****Do not waste your money **** I purchased a mattress five years ago with a 10-year warranty, expecting it to last.Unfortunately, after a few months, the mattress lost its firmness, and I started waking up with back and body pain every day. I went to the store where I bought the mattress, and they said I needed to give it more time for my body to get used to it. They also mentioned that if I wanted to file a complaint, I would have to pay a $100 inspection fee. I decided to wait longer. When I complained for the second time last year, they agreed to send an inspector but charged me a $60 inspection fee. The inspector confirmed that the mattress was deformed but said he had to report his findings to management. A few days later, I received an email stating that the mattress was still within acceptable limits, and my request was denied. This was incredibly frustrating as the pain persisted. Recently, I reopened a claim because we still wake up with pain every morning. However, the company now claims that my warranty was canceled due to a stain the inspector found on the mattress surface last year. This is completely unacceptable. The stain has nothing to do with the mattress's loss of firmness and the severe discomfort it causes. The company's handling of this issue has been extremely disappointing, and their refusal to honor the warranty feels like a scam. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable mattress and trustworthy customer service. Save your money and look elsewhere! read more

I came to write my Yelp review thinking, "I must let everyone know how awesome Steve is!" Come to find out, everyone else has already spoken, haha. I went to Ortho Mattress with my husband after an international move and we were desperate for a mattress after sleeping on an air mattress at a friends house for a week. We were afraid of the typical salesman pitch, but Steve was awesome and didn't pressure us to buy anything at all. He guided us through lying on each of the mattresses and even started us at the low/middle-price range, rather than letting us lie on a mattress that costs over 2 grand so that everything else feels sad and uncomfortable. After spending 2 hours lying in beds, we ended up buying a medium firm Pembridge and we really love it. We are 2 weeks into sleeping on it and so far so good. If you want to go to buy a mattress and not feel pressured, this is the place. read more

I want to give props to Linda Garcia in Customer Service. She went out of her way to help me get a replacement mattress. It was a long process, though. My first mattress was memory foam and it had a VERY STRONG chemical odor. I called Paul and he told me to air it out for a couple of days. I aired it out, but the smell remained. He referred me to Linda. She told me a Mattress Inspector (which I fondly called the "mattress police") needed to come out and smell it. They couldn't come for two weeks. When they came out they were very nice and professional. Julio contacted Linda and she replaced the mattress as an even exchange. I would have given Paul, Linda and Ortho five stars, but it was almost a month until I got the new mattress because of the corporate policy and procedure. Someone in the warehouse needs to be trained to not get overzealous with the fire retardant! read more
