I was initially impressed by the in-store experience--they do a fantastic job selling you on a Tempur-Pedic bed with knowledgeable staff and a nice setup to try the different beds. But once the sale is made, it's like you disappear from their radar.They never called to schedule delivery, despite promises. When I reached out multiple times, calls to the store went nowhere--nothing got done, no follow-up, no accountability. I ended up having to cancel the entire order through corporate because the local store was completely unresponsive.Now they're claiming they're "waiting for the bed to be returned"... except it was never delivered in the first place! Total headache and waste of time.You'd expect better from their flagship location in Manhattan Beach, but it was deeply disappointing. They push hard for a glowing review right before you leave the store, but this is the real story. I purchased my bed awhile back shortly after the Palisades fire. In my opinion, not very customer or service oriented. Return policy inflexible and stringent. The motive is to lock you into the purchase, as well as to try to up sell. Perhaps not reflective of the store itself, but of the culture of Tempur-Pedic in general. Other options/brands probably just as good for equal or less cost. The bed itself is good so no complaints there. I would just warn customers to know exactly what you want before going there. read more

I had a terrible experience with whoever answered the phone. I wanted to buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress that day and was sitting in the parking lot for Mattress Firm in Inglewood. I thought I'd call the flagship and see if a good price that I saw online was also in-store. Why visit two places and go back and forth, etc? Figured that I was gonna end up at the Flagship Store anyway. Well, whoever answered the phone at the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store was rude af. He actually scoffed when I asked them about the sale I saw online. Didn't actually answer my question of whether or not there were any current sales happening in-store. And he told me that the mattress I saw online was just a 'mattress in a box' and that they only do 'white glove delivery of real mattresses', implying that what I was asking was too low class for a Manhattan Beach store. Well, joke's on that a-hole. I dropped a decent amount of money on a LuxeAdapt and an Ergo 3.0 base at the Mattress Firm in Inglewood. Shout out to Jackson at Mattress Firm in Inglewood. Dude was awesome: helpful, polite, not pushy, and didn't have a stick so far up himself that he had splinters in his mouth. Very much unlike whoever they employ at the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store in Manhattan Beach. Note to that GM: customer experience (CX) starts well before a customer walks into your store. Train and treat your employees better, they'll treat your customers better. Do not buy the jersey sheets! Spent over $400 on sheets that are so uncomfortable and poorly made. They have tiny little lint balls all over them and just bought them. They do not offer returns and now I know why!!! So disappointing. read more

Vicky greeted us upon arrival. I came here because of their Buy One Pillow, Get the Second one Free sale! The store is beautiful, clean and welcoming. I have been sleeping on their NECK contour pillow for over 10 years and wanted to replace it, but wanted to try other options. Vicky consulted with me and had me try a few other pillows. The bed was covered with a one time use, pillow and bed sheet which I laid on top of!( see photo). Afterwards the staff spray and sanitize the entire bed. I felt very safe here. I ended up choosing the same NECK contour pillow, however my friend tried one of the pillows and ended up buying it! So our deal was 50% off pillows! Such a great deal! I am glad we arrived on the last day of this fantastic sale. Tempur Pedic store is near Macy's inside the original indoor mall. read more

Company does not stand behind their products. After one night of sleeping on product with immediate displeasure (like sleeping in a soft taco shell) company refuses to provide ANY return policy. Respectfully explained that I'm not satisfied with my purchase and a return was flat refused. read more

Vicky Garcia helped me find the perfect pillow ! She was both informative , polite and attentive and made me feel welcome . The store is a pretty decent size and is clean and well organized . It's located in the Manhattan beach village shopping center which has free parking ..something that is unfortunately becoming a rarity when visiting a shopping mall in Los Angeles county . I would highly recommend stopping here to check out a mattress or pillow in person before buying one online especially if you're trying to take advantage of one of the bi annual bogo pillow promotions !!! If I had only stopped here first I could have saved a few hundred as I would have opted for a completely different pillow than the ones I bought online . read more

Disappointed in that we were oversold what we needed due to aggressive sales tactics. Dislike the pillow I got because it's just way too high and hard for me. Sold us 2 twin XL power bases instead of 1 king power base which ended up costing us extra. No, we don't have the split function. Didn't need an adjustable power base since we hardly ever use it. I remember having to talk the woman down from her trying to sell us the highest end power base too. A year later (because we've been busy), I'm finally getting around to shopping for a bed frame and it's such a pain to find one we like that also accommodates an adjustable base. BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Tempur-Pedic won't honor the warranty! We bought a Cloud Supreme in 2011 it came with a 20-year warranty and the bed developed some permanent dents and had some mold issues. They replaced it in 2017. Now the new bed is having problems with a huge dip (See pictures). Tempur-Pedic is doing everything they can to NOT honor their warranty. They asked for additional photos and then they wanted the receipt for the bed in 2017. I told them they have it in their records and I even gave them the account number so they could look it up. Then they miraculously found the receipt. Talk about jumping through hoops. The final straw is they want the original receipt from 2011... I have been nothing but polite to them but now I am pissed off. I'm going to do a negative Yelp review on every Tempur-Pedic store I can find starting with this one and I'm contacting the BBB... They need to step up and stand by their product. I get it they don't make my mattress anymore... but all I'm hearing is excuses... This mattress failed twice in 11 years. Our current Tempur-pedic mattress developed permanent indentations 7 years into our 10 year warranty. After some back and forth, the company agreed to warranty it. They offered to replace in kind or we could upgrade and pay the difference. We went to the MB store to check out the different mattress before getting back to corporate with our decision. Rich met us as we walked into the store. The store isn't too large but it is clean and had a number of Tempur-pedic mattresses to try. We explained our situation to Rich and he was more than happy to show us the different mattresses and explain the differences between them. Rich provided us with excellent customer service and was very helpful. read more

This place is absolutely absurd in their business ethics. If you don't look like a wealthy person or you dress in pajamas, you will get treated with no respect here. I went in here and got no service, I literally helped my self and when I did the manager got angry that I was grabbing pillows from the display. I was so infuriated with the quality of service. I decided not to buy anything and took my business elsewhere. Pretentious people are employed here. They defintely judge a book by a cover. read more

This brand is a scam. They coerce you into buying the products without trying them, claim there's a warranty and then don't stand behind that warranty or their products and offer any adequate customer service. They don't allow any returns or exchanges, claiming a "health issue". We purchased a mattress topper and it REAKED of harsh chemicals, prompting us to want to immediately return it as soon as we opened the box. Do a little internet search and you'll see they've been sued for hiding harmful chemicals in their product make up. Seriously do not buy! Cannot emphasize enough how awful the entire brand, lumpy products and non-existent customer service are. read more
