I highly recommend this business establishment. I have been a patient there for 2 plus years and the experience is phenomenal. The patient care, the professional hygienist (Sara :)) that are on staff make each visit worth the time you spend while there. Appointments occur as schedule. Whenever I have had a issue or concern it is address. The support staff (Clara :)) that sets the future appointments go out of their way to make sure to fit you in to see the doctor. They coordinate with your dentist office for cleanings and for all other appointments, including emergencies as they occur. The goal of this business is people first. My teeth are being realign and care for by board certified consummate professionals (Dr. Helena Skountrianos :) and Dr. Paula Ohara :)) who have provided me with excellent care. My dentist (Dr. Kelcey Rhodes of Main Station Dental Care in Puyallup,WA) recommended this Orthodontic office and I am so glade that she did :). I have so impressed with the quality of care that I have brought my daughter here for braces. I have been a patient at Orthodontic Excellence since early February 2009 when I walked in for a consultation and I walked out the same day with braces. Since then, Dr. Helena and her staff have proven time and time again to be extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, a caring and heartfelt group of people. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and they demonstrate a wonderful initiative and a positive attitude toward accomplishment. They are meticulous in their work, pay close attention to detail and they listen carefully to concerns I had and didn't discount them. My treatment is unlike other patients because I have to go 4 months in-between appointments due to my job so I undoubtedly had some concerns. However, Dr. Helena and her team were able to successfully put together a treatment plan for me that is working wonders and still within the initial treatment time given to me on my first appointment. I was referred to Orthodontic Excellence by my dentist for some emergency work to try and straighten a tooth knocked out of place in an accident. They saw me less than 24 hours after the accident and all the staff were extremely compassionate and did so much to make my unplanned visit less stressful. I was a good candidate for having full orthodontia but they did not pressure me to make a decision about going with full braces, and allowed me time to recover from the trauma. I did decide to go with full braces after seeing the progress from my initial treatment and understanding the long-term benefits for my dental heath (it was not a matter of aesthetics in my case). It is wonderful to be able to have the same technician consistently see me, and I am impressed with the electronic patient records including photos that document my treatment progress. Orthodontic excellence is an amazing dentist and has very caring workers. I went to their office for braces and i recently got them off. My teeth looked amazing but they still are making them better. However recently i lost my retainer. But they were so nice and did'nt make me buy a new one and said we will just wait until you get your braces back on. I was so happy. My little sister is very afraid of the dentist and she loves it there. We use to go to another place and she was so afraid of going there. But now orthodontic excellence has changed that. Not only that but there awesome contests and rewards program where you can get gift cards just for brushing your teeth. If you need braces this is the place to go!!! We love this place EVERYONE is so great from the time you walk in till the time you leave you are at home. My daughter was scared to get braces, but everyone there made her feel so at home. Her teeth look perfect and her smile is breathtaking. Thanks to everyone there. They know your names and even the siblings. They have get togethers twice a year for patients that belong to the superkids club. My youngest daughter keeps asking when is she going to get her braces so she can come to them. I could go on and on about everyone there, just wish they would go into regular dental work too. When I went to get my braces, they got us the most affordable and comfortable plan and we didn't have to pay it all right away, we could pay it month by month. The nice thing was that they allowed me to pick a color from a variety of them and everyone there was kind and tried to be as helpful as possible. I'm still in treatment right now, and being honest, it pains me when I get bigger wires but after a few days, it just disappears and you get used to it. The braces don't at all affect how I eat or drink. However, avoiding ice cream is a good idea while in treatment. Overall though, clean an great place to get your braces! Love it. read more

Definately one of the best places to take your kid(s) if braces are in their future. From the moment you walk through the door the front end personnel takes the time to greet you and get you checked in as quickly as possible. With all the time they take in explaining what options are available my 10 yr old actually thinks braces are cool and keeps telling me "when I get my braces". Fun office to visit coffee and cold water while you wait, Xbox and playstation for the kids. Kids have a prize wheel that they can spin for toys. Would without a doubt recommend this office to anyone. read more

My daughter was very scared of getting braces, thanks to a bad experience with a dentist. But the staff at Orthodontic made it fun to have braces! They let her look and touch everything and talked to her while they worked so she knew exactly what they were doing. They were great with someone that was very scared and jumped a lot. She only had the braces for 2 years and now that they are off, her smile is beautiful. even with them on she was smiling more and her confidence rose. My son see's Dr. Virk for his ortho treatment. He actually has another office in Factoria off of Coal Creek and that's the office we go to. His staff is very friendly and helpful especially Libby she was very knowledgeable about the insurance and financial part. They have a Starbucks coffee machine inside that also makes hot chocolate. That's a plus for me LOL Dr. Virk is awesome what can I say he is very knowledgeable in his profession. Very good with kids, even hyper little 8 yr old boys like my son. Patients shouldn't be struggling to receive a refund if there's no minimal work done. There's always something happening around us that may contribute to a change of plans. It's bullying and theft to allow such practices to continue. Not a good place to recommend for family and friends, maybe your enemy you want to spend more money on service that are way cheaper elsewhere with better staff and treatments available.
