I was in a horrible car accident and was looking for somewhere close and convenient to get physical therapy. I have had ankle problems for the past nine months and been to at least four or five physical therapists. I was getting to the point where I could barely walk up the stairs, let alone work, (I am a professional dancer). All the PTs I visited gave me simple ankle exercises and told me to ice my ankle, which did nothing for my pain and stiffness. Many of them told me that the issue wasn't as serious as I was perceiving it to be. Frustrated and worried, I finally showed up in tears to Blessed PT, begging for someone to take my issue seriously. I met with Dr. Rama, who quickly surmised that my ankle issues were directly related to bulging disks in my lumbar spine. She recommended an MRI, and began treating me for bulging disks, which gave me the most relief I had had in 6 months. a week after the first session, which included massage therapy from Alex, I felt like a completely different person. My MRI came back showing two bulging disks in my L4 and L5, just as she predicted. Since getting treated by Dr. Rama, I have been able to resume my usual gymnastics and dance routines, and feel better than I have since I was in high school. Not a great place. Got really annoyed when they were consistently asking me to change my appointment times. I set them for a reason due to work. Sometimes got a massage on a chiropractic adjustment table, which was uncomfortable. There was also no dimmable lighting in that room & the bright lights were annoying & not relaxing. Should've been warned about Dean ahead of time, but was NOT. He does OVER the clothes massage, which I didn't find out about until I got in the room with him. Luckily that day I had come from home so I was wearing a light t-shirt, but normally I'm in work clothes, which would not have worked out. He also does some weird, painful arm pit pinching thing, which I've never even heard about nor ever had done before. Not sure what that's about or if it's some perv type of thing. They really need to learn better customer service. Quite disappointing. Will not be using them again. read more

It's so ironic that their name is Blessed PT. This is a Physical Therapy office two blocks from my house. This is helpful for me because I'm disabled and use a Rollator to walk, and I can walk to their location. I've been there a few times talking to people in reception and filling out paperwork. They told me they have infrared light therapy and things like that. We made sure that everything was squared away with my insurance and all good to go. I had to reschedule an appointment, and it was scheduled out almost a month which surprised me. I took the appointment, but I asked the office manager to call me. Never got a call. This was supposed to be the week of my appointment, so I was calling to confirm correct arrival time. Yet when dialing, message was indicating it was no longer in service. So I went by their place this morning and learned from a receptionist who came and opened the locked door that the manager had apparently canceled my appointment a month ago the day after I made it. I was told she called me and left a message, I didn't seem to get that message. Apparently they've blocked my phone number because when I dial, it indicates that the number has been disconnected, but when my husband calls with his phone, it's not. So Blessed PT has decided a disabled 59-year-old woman can't come to their office, and they're unwilling to discuss why that is with me. Sounds like an epic Blessed business. read more

I thought I'd be in pain forever, but the exercises he taught me really worked. The first massage therapist they had sucked. But eventually they replaced her with someone competent. So that was good. The clinic hangs up on my calls and will not respond after an incident they created during treatment? I came in for treatment and during my treatment their neuro guy kicked the lever of the exam table and I fell back and spasmed my QL and got all of one treatment afterwards for the injury. Dr. Rajeev said not to worry return as needed till it's resolved. Then Dr. Rama started to shift liability to my existing injuries. Today Karina reception hung up. None of this is professional or allowed in healthcare. They don't have to treat existing injuries but they spasm on the QL muscle they caused with faulty equipment is unacceptable and the clinic responsibility. At the time I did not place a claim against them taking Dr.Rajeev's word but today I will given the outcome and negligence to ensure the matter is resolved. read more

I was recommended to this PT office by my GP. Dr. Rajiv is great, he truly cares about your treatment and your rehabilitation. He is truly knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. He's the reason for my one star. The office staff is friendly. My review is on the billing specialist/department, as you can read in the emails I'm not to call or email them on the matter, therefore maybe the biller can take the situation more serious with this review other than attempting to help me then asking me to completely not contact them. The financial aspect of your treatment is crucial in the journey of rehabilitation, especially when you are starting off with a high deductible and paying out of pocket as you go. It's imperative that the charges are fully understood and communicated and that billing is handled in a prompt manner to ensure continuation of recommended treatment. As a patient, when we address our concerns is so that you are aware not a personal attack on the individual(s). After making the office aware that I was having issues with the billing process and ultimately stopping my treatment in an attempt to resolve this, it's nonetheless pushes you to seek unfavorable alternatives. read more

Today was my second Acupuncture and physical therapy treatment. The staff is excellent. I've had physical therapy before but not like this. Dr Rajiv is not your typical Physical Therapist, he is a "manual" PT...hands on the entire visit. He has treated me for whiplash and periformis syndrom (sciatica?). I pride myself on finding outstanding doctors and I refer my staff depending on their needs...this office in my new go-to practice for anyone needing a physical therapist or chiropractor. He can pinppoint your problem in mins and he's never wrong...yet. I think he's a genius. -Jessica is an ace running the office and great with insurance. 100 Stars for Blessed PT! I had knee surgery with a great surgeon, but the real recovery day to day was managed by Dr. Rama and she was amazing! I see my doctor once every month or so, but I saw Dr. Rama a couple of times a week. I felt like I had a team that was invested in my health and healing. Dr. Rama is Intuitive, understands the body and healing cycle, has an amazing knowledge base, and chooses and adapts the best healing strategy by understanding and listening to the body. She is also a great listener, and adjusts protocol based on the normal ups and downs of healing. She used a cold laser for a few sessions because of specific issues, and it worked great. She is a hands on PT and because of that, she was able to feel exactly where my healing progress was, and what next steps were required. I trust her implicitly, and credit her for a much faster, easier time into full recovery. Jessica, the office manager is also so amazing and helpful! She is a rock star. I came to Dr. Rama after a neck related yoga accident "seemed" to heal. I went back to work as a massage therapist, and lo and behold....still injured! Dr. Rama was the first real support I had from the medical community. My GP scared me and was saying I would need spinal fusion surgery and that massage maybe wasn't the right career for me. No way! I went to see Dr. Rama for chronic lower back pain and had a remarkable improvement in two month of treatment and post following her advises and strict exercises regime i started feeling pain free and am able to do biking for thousands of miles and not have any signs of pain. I am happy that i could get back to my biking so quickly when many doctors had advised otherwise. I like the way ,Dr. Rama takes time to explain how everything works, what exactly is happening to my back, and she takes a multi-angle approach. This place is fantastic! I went for a hip injury that had been bothering me for years and I felt relief pretty much immediately. They spend a full hour with you every session which, in my experience, is unusual. Also, my health insurance doesn't cover PT, but they offer discounted packages that made it significantly more affordable than other places. I know this because I called a lot of places to check prices before I decided to go with Blessed and Blessed was by far the most reasonable. I read all the reviews before coming to this office; I was forced to leave my previous PT. I really needed to get better and my previous PT was making that difficult. I am recovering from neck fusion and need someone competent, involved and actively working to get me healed. The after surgery muscle tightness and spasms can be rather brutal and my neck was starting to stiffen significantly. Blessed Orthopedic is a very small office and in that office there is real healing going on. Every time I walk into this office I am in pain, real pain; every time I leave I feel relief. I dislocated my knee while walking, and needed physical therapy right away. I'm a dancer, and I've got to heal. I tried another PT, but found my condition worsened. When I heard the name "Blessed Physical Therapy," I knew that was the right the right choice. And my intuition was right! The caregivers at this office provide highly skilled, hands-on treatment that get straight to the source of discomfort. They use massage techniques and technology that I imagine are top of the line. The doctor literally touches the area that's inflamed, going beyond the skin and muscle, straight to the ligaments. At first it was uncomfortable. Who massages your ligaments! But I noticed improvement within days, and I was convinced. And the support staff give the absolute best massages, and they're so kind and professional. I'm going back soon for a full body massage, and plan to make this a monthly appointment. This is high-quality, therapeutic care that I highly recommend. And, they teach Pilates! I had my first ever pilates instruction here. My knee is just about healed, and I'm nearing the end of my treatment. I was in a really serious work injury and had 6 Surgeries on my leg. The Doctors told me that they were almost forced to amputate. Thankfully I still have my legs yet with so many Surgeries, the atrophy was at a serious level & the scars were on the verge of keloid. I've had PT in the past for various sports injuries, particularly a nasty case of swimmer's shoulder that plagued me through high school and college. I really like the approach that Blessed takes and both Dr. Rajiv and Dr. Rama are very warm and personable practitioners. I saw them for chronic lower back pain and had a remarkable improvement in one month of treatment and was totally pain free after three months. I like that they take the time to explain how things work, what exactly is going on with my back, and that they take a multi-faceted approach of building flexibility and strength and also hands on adjustment and restorative treatment.
