The bowling alley is exactly what you would expect. The staff is friendly but the gem is the bar out back. Packer fans must stop!

There is a lot to do here and some of it is more experiential than most locations with games. They had laser tag, for instance, which the kids just loved. They had dodge-em cars which were very popular as well, but the games were not as good as we have experienced at Dave & Buster's in Edina or at the Burrough out in Victoria. Their game card is very confusing. You buy a $50 card, but it only has 25 points on it. But it gives you unlimited use of some of the experiential games. So we wasted a lot of time upfront trying to figure that out. Front desk staff was helpful, but in general, the supervising teenagers there were aloof and just doing their jobs. They have a small grill and the food was surprisingly good. My husband had an excellent hamburger with french fries and the kids and I each had small individual size pizzas which were very good. I asked the kids to rate it while we were in the car and they gave it five stars. But when they compared it to Dave & Buster's, they gave it no stars to Dave & Buster's 10 stars. I give it overall four stars and I'm taking a Star away because the bathrooms were dirty and 3 out of 4 bathrooms none of the water was working in the sinks so we couldn't wash our hands. They win on Dodge cars, laser tag, and decent snacks.

We came on a Monday which was a little less crowded, but there was still quite a few kids about…read more My older daughter and some tore through the rope climb. Many of the machines were not working and only 4 bumper cars were operating. Seems like maintenance issues aren't addressed from prior posted reviews. There was only a single worker in the restaurant area who was in the back the whole time. Decided to eat elsewhere.

There are SO many games, and it's easy to lose track of time just walking around and trying everything. We went in the middle of the day for a day date, which was actually a really fun time to go. My biggest complaint was how many of the arcade games were broken or not working properly. When you're already paying a decent amount to get in, that was disappointing. It also kind of sucks that mini golf costs extra on top of admission. That being said, the mini golf course is definitely not your typical basic course. Some of the holes were a little lame, but most were really creative and cool, and it was probably one of the more unique parts of the experience. Overall, it's expensive, especially if you add mini golf, but if you go when you have plenty of time to hang out and play games for a few hours, you can definitely get your money's worth. Fun spot for a different kind of day date!

It's a good spot to go on a double date, celebrate an occasion, take the kids out, etc. We loved the golf course! That was definitely the highlight. The games were just eh to me, I could've gone without. Some were iconic and fun, but overall felt a bit pricy to play old games. I'd stop back again for the mini golf! And the events calendar was packed, so I'll need to check out a drag show or art event soon:)

Unfortunately we were next to some younger kids yelling vulgarities and stacking all their empty beer cans while very young children were around bowling for the first time. I came to this bowling alley with my partner to have a good time, but all we found was frustration and disappointment. Let me explain what happened during our visit to Rand's Bowling Lanes & Lounge. When we walked in, the dim lighting barely concealed how dirty the place was. I went to the counter to pick a lane and rent some bowling shoes. There were four open lanes: 7, 8, 9, and 10. The woman at the counter asked which lane I wanted, and I politely said, "Lane 10." She refused, saying they were saving it for a large group she thought might come in. The lanes weren't even pre-scheduled--she was saving them for no clear reason. I then asked for lanes 9 and 8, but I got the same response. Finally, I requested lane 7, and she said, "Oh, well, I don't know. We might use it, not sure." That made no sense. I'm a paying customer, and I wanted to rent the lane, but she saved it for absolutely no one. My only option was lane 4, which was right next to a loud birthday party filled with kids. I decided not to make a fuss and went with lane 4. Then it was time to pay. She told me the price was $4.50. To confirm, I asked, "Four dollars and fifty cents, right?" She said, "No." Confused, I asked, "What do you mean? Is it $450?" What else could she have meant? She laughed at me like I was stupid and said, "No," still laughing. I pressed her again, and she finally confirmed it was $4.50, which is what I thought all along. I have no idea why she said no the first time or why she laughed--it was rude and unnecessary. Next, she told us we didn't have to pay for the shoes, which seemed like a nice gesture. But as I walked away, she added, "But you can't wear your regular shoes." So now I'm thinking, "What the heck? Why say one thing and then immediately contradict it?" We ended up paying for the shoes after all. When we finally started bowling, the experience was just okay. The bowling balls were greasy, and it was obvious they don't clean them properly. It was gross. Once we finished, we left, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Do not go to this place. This was one of the most terrible experiences I've ever had. The woman at the front counter was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. She shouldn't be working there, and frankly, this place should be shut down.
