I stopped by here since it was on the Houston Coffee food crawl list and have always heard it was a good spot. Needless to say it did not disappoint and was honestly better than I expected! I ordered an horchata matcha which I haven't seen anywhere else. It comes pre-made so I wasn't expecting much but I was still quite surprised by how good it was. It could've used a bit more matcha to balance it out since it leans more horchata-forward, but that's a minor thing. Still a solid, unique drink and one I'd recommend trying at least once. I wasn't planning on getting food but the papa & egg taco was actually fireee. The potato and egg were seasoned very well, not so dry and rubbery, probably one of the best breakfast taco's I've had so I'd also recommend getting one of those. They have a few other interesting drinks and flavors that I don't see on other menus so I'll be making another trip back! read more

Stopped in as part of a coffee crawl around Houston. I've passed it a number of times previously. The service was friendly. I had tried to look ahead online vs on the menu. I ended up ordering the strawberry surprise which is strawberry with horchata. Not bad. Strong strawberry flavor. Semi wish I had realized that I accidentally ordered something without espresso or matcha. Overall cute spot. Seating up front and at the bar. That's where I felt it was a bit awkward. There were a couple of folks sitting there which is good but honestly the register on the corner as shown is a very awkward spot with the people sitting there. In my continued quest to try more of the local spots in the East End, Oso Coffee Co was next on my list. I've had multiple friend recommendations to come here, and today was finally the day I came through. On this cold and rainy day, this cozy coffee shop was just the pick me up I needed. The interior is small, but quaint in the best way possible. They already had a little Christmas tree setup and Christmas music playing in the background. Service was super fast and the owner was really friendly. This particular visit I tried their horchata latte hot, sausage/egg breakfast taco, and bacon/egg breakfast taco. Talk about a great start to your morning! The horchata latte was perfectly made featuring Tenfold coffee beans without being overly sweet, and their breakfast tacos are made fresh to order. 10/10 will be back again to try more of their menu! Today was my first day stopping by, I ordered the cream cheese chorizo kolache and Horchata latte, the kolache at first bite was just bread and was I got to the center it was mostly cream cheese with very little chorizoThe end bites were also just bread. Ordered from here via DoorDash and I guess it would've better to skip it. The "strawberry" matcha was almost $10 and barely had any strawberry in it (so it didn't actually taste like strawberries) and the matcha flavor itself was not good. We also ordered three breakfast tacos (the papa and egg ones) and at $4.50 a pop, they were good but not great. The breakfast torta was also just okay. In my Houston coffee adventure I find myself at Oso coffee which is a super cozy coffee shop in the eado area .. on navigation for the true Houstonians, and it did not disappoint I got the strawberry matcha and a kolache not pictured because it got devoured in seconds on it being one of the best I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and amazing I even added 2 shots of espresso into my matcha strawberry. Friendly staff, cute little shop, good coffee and sprinkle chocolate donuts make this place a hit! We came in on a Sunday morning and the place was packed with happy, caffeinated individuals. I ordered the horchata latte and while deliciously cinnamon-y, it was too sweet for me. But I did enjoy it! My son got the chocolate iced donut with sprinkles and he absolutely loved it, no surprise. Tried this coffee shop on a weekday morning. Its outside looks like a cute little house with a porch and has some indoor and outdoor seating! I tried the iced horchata latte, which was delightful - sweet, obvious horchata flavor. I tried the weenie-egg breakfast taco for about $4 (forgot exactly how much, but that's a normal price) which was delicious too. They also sell pastries including donuts and conchas, but I didn't try those. They offer a fuller food menu menu Fri-Sun. We were out in Second Ward and found a new coffee shop to try out. First of all parking. Street in the front or a huge lot to the side was available. It's not a finished parking lot so if you have a nice car, keep out. Such a comfortable place on the inside. Unique and lively decorations everywhere. Coffee was spot on. The horchata latte was tasty as was my caramel cappuccino. Taco wasn't anything to write home about but also was clearly homemade all the way. I really liked the ambience of the place. It wasn't sterile and white and clean like all of the other new places. It literally felt like the home it was built in. Every single time I come here, I leave disappointed. I ordered a cold London fog once, and asked first if the barista could do it. To which she said yes. What I got back was a watered down disaster. For 8 bucks This time I ordered a matcha late. Again 8 dollars. Let me me clear I do not mind that price point for a lattes that actually tastes good. The latte taste like milk with a sprinkle of matcha and the matcha isn't even great quality. You can find better at the HEB bulk section make your own with a cup of milk and added syrups. You could improve the effort/flavor that goes into these lattes at the price you are charging. I don't get the hype of this place, there is a tea house down the street. We are in town and I looked up some coffee spots and found this on a list of coffee spots to visit in Houston. So, we decided to check this place out. First and foremost, very chill vibes and cute little spot. It's small but cozy. Great for students or business meetings but small groups. Large groups would make it a bit crowded. They do have an outside patio but it's kind of snug. Service and staff are efficient, respectful, and quick. I can only speak for the coffee because that's all I had but I would revisit if I'm in town and try the food next time. Based off of the reviews, food looks pretty good. Oso Coffee is one of my favorite places to visit for Horchata Coffee in Houston. If you were driving past here, you would have never guessed that it was a cafe as it resembles a house. The parking lot is very spacious and consists of gravel (FYI for my smaller cars). The staff are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. Be warned, the weekends can become especially packed but your drinks come out relatively quick. I ordered the strawberry horchata with a shot of expresso and a concha. I don't believe they make their conchas in house, however every time I visit, I always have to order one. It's the perfect combination of soft and fluffy. I added a shot of expresso to the strawberry horchata latte and this might be the best combination I have done. Although, it is a bit on the pricer side compared to other local coffee shops, it is definitely worth it. The flavors pair perfectly together and Oso just does it right. Fun little coffe spot on the Navigation Promenade in EaDo. It's got a cutesy feel to this updated house turned business. Coffee was good enough for me, tried the Horchata Latte. After waiting almost 20 minutes I tried my Iced Horchata Latte and was super disappointed. My drink taste so gritty and the flavors are not balanced. The place is pretty small and the seating area can only fit a few people, but the decor is really cute and has a nice wall of drawings. Their menu has a lot of basic drinks and also a special drinks. I got the horchata latte and the horchata strawberry surprise along with a concha. The horchata latte was one of the best I have ever had! It was cinnamony, but not too overwhelmingly sweet, which I like. The horchata strawberry surprise was on the sweeter side, but it was super good with a himt of cinnamon and had a good portion of strawberry jam. The concha I got paired well with the horchata latte, and I really enjoyed both drinks. Overall, I really enjoyed the drinks here. The coffee was superb, I love a good cortadito. The place is decorated so simple it's cute. The staff was so nice and made the coffee so fast!.
