Service was excellent but the food wasn't anything special. I think I would go back for the pizza only. The pasta was served more than Al dente and the sauce lacked flavor. It seems like a very nice family friendly establishment but not somewhere I would go on a date night. There are some cute decorations around but the ambiance isn't what I would expect from a nicer Italian place.

I've been to Double Zero a couple of times, and each time I enjoyed my experience there! The most recent visit, I had the Funghi Tortelloni which was very filling, rich, and delicious. We also ordered the salmon, which was cooked really well. I've also been to Double Zero for Valentine's Day and tried their prix fixe menu which was very tasty and nicely thought out for us to enjoy the experience. The service has been great every visit, and the ambience is nice and clean, with lighting being not too dark. There's also usually free street parking nearby which is a plus!

I came here after a big reservation for my birthday. The location is in Emory Village, conveniently near Emory University. There's limited parking around there, whether it is the few spots on the street or nearby parking lots like the Jimmy John's. The atmosphere is quite dim with soft lights. Our server was nice, but I think she was overwhelmed with the number of people and that a lot of people weren't ready for drinks or food yet. It's so convenient and easy to use the QR code to pay or split the bill, compared to the server manually splitting food between customers. People who shared food could easily pick which guest their food was listed under and pay for it. She was also sweet enough to take a group picture of us. The garlic bread was amazing!!! It was delicious and super garlicky. The bread was soft on the inside but had a good crunch on the outside. I got the spicy speziato, which was a spicy shrimp with squid ink pasta. The sauce had a good kick to it, so I wound up dipping the plain pizza crust into it too. The pizza was a thin crust, but I think there was a wide crust and lot of fresh arugula on top. Squid ink is just used for food coloring and has no added taste for those who were wondering. The duck risotto also looked phenomenal, but could have had more meat. The risotto was nice and cheesy too.

Not your average pizza place- top notch!! The service was great and Justine (our server ) gave great suggestions. We took them all and it did not disappoint. Place is much larger invader than it lies from the outside. Good music selection and great dinner lighting. It's in the heart of Emory so be prepared during the school semester parking will be at a premium. Just be careful you don't over order- portions are perfect!!

Very friendly staff at this cool dimly lit restaurant! (But not too dim) The kids pizza is amazing apparently because my son ate the entire thing and it's literally huge for a kid. The pastas I've tried here were all really good. A good place to go with friends. There is parking on the street and across from the restaurant.

We used to dine at Double Zero all the time when they were located in Sandy Springs. The service and the food was always on point. We loved it there! For Valentine's Day this year, we went to the Emory Village location and quite honestly weren't impressed. i don't know if its standard or just because of the occasion, but the hostess literally started the night off by telling us how much time we were allotted to dine for. That instantly turned us off. we felt rushed throughout the meal and when our wine glasses were empty, we weren't even asked if we'd like another. We did love the garlic knot and calamari. The short rib was okay. i don't think we'll back again. i don't know if there was a change in ownership/management, but if so we miss the old team and menu.

Had the most amazing meal at Double Zero this week!! Everything we ate was sooo delicious and our service was amazing. The chicken parmesan and caesar salad were for sure my favorite!! This spot is right in Emory Pointe, and there are lots of other great spots to make this a full date night. Definitely get to this spot if you have been trying to for awhile!! It is fun and YUM!!

Where to even begin with Double Zero?! The food here was EXCELLENT. We went for my father-in-law's birthday. There were 6 of us total. Highly recommend making a reservation, as it's a pretty popular restaurant. This location is right in Decatur, right on Emory University's campus. To start, we all shared the garlic knot and the fritto misto. We got two orders of the garlic knot, as it's essentially one big knot, that you share. It was so good. The butter on top was such a good add-on, and the bread pulled apart so nicely. The fritto misto was enjoyed by our group (I am not a fan of calamari, but they all said it was really good.) This fritto misto did have some pieces of shrimp in it as well, which I had a piece of, it was quite good. For my main course, I got the chicken parmesan and got a pasta add-on of cacio e pepe. When I tell you this is the best chicken parmesan I have ever had, I mean that with 100% truth! It was EXCELLENT. It wasn't a huge piece of chicken in the sense that it was so thick, but it was big in the sense of the size of the entire piece of cutlet. It had the perfect amount of crispiness and softness to it. It also came with a side salad too. You can choose from a pasta add-on of cacio e pepe and pasta pomodoro (for an additional cost). I got the cacio e pepe. It was so good. The perfect amount of everything. My fiancé got the ravioli al formaggio. This dish was also excellent. It was flavorful and had the perfect amount inside each ravioli. If you haven't noticed by now....all the food we got was incredibly flavorful. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything was a 10/10. Our group also shared a bottle of red which was recommended by our server. The service at Double Zero is far from terrible. Our server was incredibly attentive and continuously checked on our table throughout the entire evening. He engaged in conversation with us unrelated to dinner and made suggestions when appropriate at the same time. The only reason that I am not giving Double Zero 5 stars, is because parking is an absolute madhouse. There is a lot directly behind the restaurant, but fills up very quickly around dinner time. I had to circle the area about 3 times before I found a spot that opened up. Other than that, everything else is 5 stars. I highly recommend dining at double zero. Whether it be for lunch or dinner for 2 or for 10, you won't be disappointed.

    How is the outdoor seating?

I have actually never seen anyone using the outdoor tables but it is available. It looks out over North Decatur Road, so not exactly scenic.

Website says they are closed on Sundays but voicemail for restaurant gives hours including Sunday hours. Does anyone know which is correct?

Chantal - we open at 5pm on Sundays. Thank you!

We snagged an early dinner reservation at 5:15 pm and surprisingly, people were already dining and they just got busier as time went on. We were greeted right away by our wonderful server (forgot her name though) and she asked if it was our first time there and if we were celebrating something. We answered yes to both and they actually brought us complimentary champagne, a sparkling non-alcoholic cider for me because I ordered a zero proof drink. Kimball House is known for their amazing bar program, so my husband ordered a Kimball House served with a side of olives and lemon twist on ice, like what?! I ordered a ginger & honey lime fizz to enjoy. For starters, we also enjoyed Hawaiian rolls, green salad and some oysters for my husband. The rolls and salad came out super fast, but there was quite a wait for our drinks and oysters that I didn't think they were going to come out. The rolls are a must-get here - they're huge and the strawberry preserve it was served with was delicious! The salad was actually split in half, which was a super nice touch and was plenty of serving between two people. We loved the dressing - it was nice and fresh. For our entree, I ordered a trout and my husband ordered the duck breast. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill. I was quite shocked that our whole dinner was only around $190, not including tip, which I thought was quite reasonable. We definitely recommend this place for date night or simply for delicious food.

We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!

The wait staff was attentive, making sure we had our beverages and if we needed anything before the 2 arrived. Once they arrived, the staff gave us a few minutes to make sure the 2 had a chance to look at the menus. We ordered appetizers to start...corn bread, sage fried pierogies and poutine. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). As time got closer to the festival to start, it did get crowded, but the staff handled the influx of people and people were seated relatively quickly. This was a nice destination as most of the group live a drive from Decatur. Lovely afternoon visit!
