The pasta was absolutely out of this world--rich, fresh, and full of authentic Italian flavor. Every bite was better than the last. The service was just as impressive: warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. It felt like a true Italian dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Pasta was perfect. Bacon nice and crispy. Top Italy must have dish .

Everything was delicious here and the staff were so nice. A must stop when in Rome. We ate here 3x and it never disappointed.

Expected more after the way everyone hyped this place up. The tables were super close together, basically touching the people next to you. I ordered the pasta and my mom ordered the oxtail. But somehow he brought us two orders of the pasta in addition to the oxtail. We didn't want to send it back because we didn't want to upset anyone. The suppli was very dry and probably the worst I had in all of Rome. Pasta was okay but nothing to write home about.

Waited about 40 minutes on line for a table for this mostly Instagram hyped restaurant. Service was good and fast as they were seating people quickly. I ordered the cacio pepe and it was extremely salty. The tiramisu looked really good but I was too stuffed.

It lives up to the hype! We had pasta and ravioli, both extremely good, super flavorful, and not heavy! The waitress recommended their Italian cheesecake covered in chocolate, and it was so tasty, not too sweet, and a nice change from a tiramisu. This location is right by the pantheon, making it really romantic if you eat outside. The service was excellent, the prices were fair, and the time was fantastic! I would go back! Wow. Line for both restaurants across the street from one another should tell you this place is good. Came recommended from our local rental agent. Food was incredible and service impeccable. Pasta is perfect. Would visit again.

Preferred this experience and food over the much hyped Da Enzo! Busy, packed, noisy, fast paced and incredibly delicious!! Exactly what we were looking for on our first night in Rome.

Our last night in Rome. We chose this restaurant, as it was close to our hotel and we got one of the last tables outside in the evening. Did get tremendously busy with a line to wait for a table. The food was awesome. We had the fettuccine with oxtail along with two other pasta dishes that I cannot spell. Lol. I can tell you that everything was delicious. We also got the tiramisu that was the best I've ever had. I've had tiramisu everywhere! what really sealed the deal was the service. Everyone was so friendly with a smile and very accommodating. This restaurant is simply awesome.

OH.MY.GOD. This place made the most delicious Carbonara I've ever tasted. I would go back just to eat Carbonara over and over again! The service was decent and we waited for our table about 20 mins outside in the rain without any reservations on a Sunday afternoon. The bonus: you can see one of the ladies actually making the pasta seated outside.

Best pasta in Italy. I miss it every day. Worth the wait in line, but pro tip: there is no line if you go for lunch on a weekday!

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

Already depressed knowing we were returning to the cold and fearful Minneapolis, we spent the day packing and wandering Prati. After drowning our sorrows at a few cocktail emporiums in the early evening, we walked into Su e Giu without a reservation close to 9:30. The two guys working the front showed us to a table, and we proceeded to have a perfect last night meal. Our appetizers and pastas were great, service was friendly, and I spent time reflecting on how wonderful Rome is, rather than thinking about our return to the fractured States. Su e Giu Cucina Romana is the perfect Roman restaurant to feel La Dolce Vita. It is a sweet life indeed.

It's intimate, cozy authentic Italian charm. The staff here are wonderfully kind and welcoming, making an already memorable meal feel even more special. Show up right at opening if you want to secure a table immediately, as this local treasure fills up incredibly fast! We started with the artichoke, which was quite possibly the best artichoke I've ever tasted in my life. Ubelievably tender and served bathed in rich olive oil that elevated every single bite. The Amatriciana was my personal favorite dish of the night, featuring a rich red sauce packed with a subtle kick of heat and finished with a generous dusting of fresh Parmesan. The stuffed chicken was remarkably tender, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned with delicate flavors that don't overpower. Lastly, the lasagna was everything a classic lasagna should be: wonderfully cheesy and deeply comforting, yet light enough that it doesn't weigh you down. Easily one of my favorite dining spots in all of Europe. I already can't wait for the day I get to return again!

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.
