It's quite delicious, ingredients are fresh, good service, but feels a bit overpriced. For instance I expected a decent amount of meat on the seared lamb chops but there was barely anything on there for 24 euros. After taking random streets through Rome we came across Osteria di Agrippa and decided to try it. Well it was the right call, the service was incredible and food was SOOO good. We tried fried tripe for the first time and then each had a plate of pasta. The homemade lasagna was incredible and I have been searching for a good pasta carbonara and found an amazing one here! I've had a lot of disappointing food in Rome over the years, bcuz it's too catered to tourists... But this gem had me going back a second night, and I wish I could go back again and again until I've tried their whole menu. It's located near the Pantheon and many other big sites, but on a quiet corner and never crowded. The ambiance is modern and slightly elevated, with tables indoors and out, and lounge-y music. The servers were lovely. The food was priced really well for the style, and was prepared just perfectly. Their website shows the menu and prices, but for about 200€ we had: Bread, bottled mineral water, a gin/tonic, a vodka/soda, a glass of wine, the mussels appetizer, the oxtail meatballs appetizer, the sea bass ravioli, the steak, and a tiramisu sampler. read more

This place was a block away from my AirBNB so I had to try it. I wish I would have eaten here more! I ordered the Carbonara and the lightly fried trip. Both were amazing. After dinner I ordered a couple of their dessert wines and they were both fantastic. They were really accommodating considering I took about 20 minutes just to pick out a wine. I enjoyed my salad and I highly recommend the bruschetta!!! We stumbled upon this place for dinner our first night in Rome. We had a delightful meal and had great service. The selection wasn't huge, but it had everything we wanted to eat. My raviolis were filling and delicious. My husband loved his lasagna. We got here around 7:00 on a Friday, and it was fairly empty, but by 8:00 us was popping! Do NOT EAT HERE! Rip off! $55.00 for lunch for one. Food was disgusting. Ordered the fritto calamari and shrimp, all i got was calamari, not one shrimp. Greasy, rubbery and tough. Thick coated flour dusted grease. Ordered the house made pasta with porcini and truffle. Pasta was old tough and dish was so dry it was not edible! Poured 1/2 cup of olive oil on it, and still was dry! Porcini's were canned, flavorless and truffle shaved was old and dry, no flavor. Tried to eat, but could not. Ordered chicory, it was ok, but no flavor, had to add salt and parmesan and still not so good. The waitress was nice, but never ONCE ASKED HOW MY MEAL WAS. She could see i did not eat the pasta, still never asked if everything was ok. Had to ask for olive oil for bread to begin as i was just served bread with no plate butter or olive oil. I kept having to ask for everything, salt, cheese. Still not once was i ever asked how is everything. Horrible SERVICE HORRIBLE FOOD. Then i asked for check after i sat there for 10 minutes, no check. Another 10 minutes i went up to cash register and got my check. Waitress informed me gratuity was not included. Hmmmmm i never heard of this. Then she asked me how much i wanted to add to bill for service as i paid with credit card. I politely informed her i had cash. However, to beg for a tip when the service was horrific is beyond me. I of course left and did not tip as i feel service was totally inferior. As well as food was not edible. Given internet code, and several tables around me were given internet code! However none of us could connect! Then waiter told us his phone had internet!!! How did this make all of us feel. I don't even know what to say... It is a pretty place. It is enjoyable to the tourist eye and it has a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor, of course I went in. My friend had raviolis and she didn't like them. Raviolis is her favorite food, just so you know, I had the mushroom pizza... It was so disappointing. It had almost no cheese, the bread was not good. And it had a lot of water in top of my pizza. It was just very disappointing Service was nice. That's why I'm giving them two stars instead of one. read more

This is the worst experience I've had. We sat down to have a bottle of wine, when the waiter found out we weren't ordering food, he kicked us out. He said the water we had was 2 euros, then came back and said it was 3. He showed us the menu, he had told us the wrong price. Oh my god that is our worst memory of our trip. Don't trust the price on the menu, they are multiplicate by 2 on the bill. Be ready to fight with the waiter if you want to pay the real price.
