My coworker and I came here for lunch and was delighted by their lunch specials that run Monday through Friday. I got the 3 roll lunch special for $18. I got the eel avocado, salmon and shrimp tempura). Very good and fresh salmon, shrimp tempera was crispy. The eel roll was good but felt like it needed more eel. I do like how the rolls dont have tons of rice but the right amount. It was very nice inside as well. The service was okay. We kind of felt rushed at the end to pay for the bill. I love a good sushi lunch special I order mostly the same thing from different restaurants that have it. Eel avocado roll, spicy tuna, and salmon jalapeño. This hands down was the most fresh and flavorful sushi I've had in the mainline! The miso and salad were also very good salad was crispy cold and refreshing and the soup had good developed flavors compared to some I've had just taste like tofu water. The apps (rock shrimp, miso cod & crispy rice tuna) are good, but nothing to write home about. They are priced as much (or more) than their sushi rolls. My "anniversary roll" with spicy blue crab roll was neither spicy and nor did it contain blue crab. I was presented with a bland white pasty panko mush with generous eel sauce and toppings. Also I couldn't help but notice that though the staff is busy and bustling about, they are not attentive to their tables. More than once I've had to flag down staff for simple things like water and check. The issue is, there are half a dozen sushi restaurants within 3 miles of Osushi. I understand they have a reputation in the Ardmore area, but will it transfer over to Devon/Wayne? read more

I have been giving most of the sushi places I have tried a 4. There are no half points allowed unfortunately. This would be a 4+. Ordered online the Maki Lunch special for $17.95, a choice of 3 rolls. Pretty good. As typical, comes with soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger slices on the side. Rolls are generous with the filling, whether it be the spicy tuna or avocado, etc., If you want mostly rice in your roll, go elsewhere. Also comes with salad AND miso soup. On their website, you can place an order for pickup. If you want delivery, you can use a third party, for example Yelp (which uses GrubHub) or even directly from GrubHub. Just wished they delivered directly, as the 3rd party vendor can add up to 50-100% of the cost. Among the many sushi choices in the area, based on my single tasting, one of the better ones. read more

We were already fans of Osushi - Ardmore, so when the Wayne location opened, we knew we had to stop in. This location feels much larger than Ardmore, with an open seating area and small sushi bar. The decor has a modern, fun vibe. There was no way to know that this location had just opened - there were none of the typical opening day/week/month kinks you see at other restaurant openings. We had a few questions as one of our friends was pregnant and wanted to be cautious - our waitress was great answering them all. We ordered a few appetizers, loads of rolls, and some shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh, delicious, and plated beautifully. Both families enjoyed their meals and their time together. My only "complaint" was that they asked if we wanted the rice before the rolls because they were taking longer and we said yes...the rice ended up coming out after! I've had two fantastic experiences dining at Osushi in Wayne and my bf and I plan to be regulars! Everything we've tried has been delicious including a couple of the soups, apps, signature rolls, and veggie rolls. We also tried cheesecake dessert during our first visit and despite not being a big cheesecake person, it was quite good. Parking can be a bit of a pain but worth it. It can also get busy on the weekends so reservations are recommended and fair warning that wait times can be a little longer. Ambience is nice, not too loud, and mostly a mix of date night couples and families. Prices are reasonable - we had 2 soups, 1 app, 4 specialty rolls, and a veggie roll for ~$100 before tip.
