I've been so excited to try this place ever since it had opened. My bf and I rsvp'd here for 6:30 pm on Valentine's Day, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how packed the restaurant was! Our server was attentive, enthusiastic, and kind. Despite the busyness, the restaurant did a great job with maintaining orders and our satisfaction. Throughout our night, my bf and I ordered a total of 8 dishes with a variety of nigiri, sashimi, signature dishes, and simple hand rolls. The star of the night (besides my bf) has to be the O.M.G. roll. The nigiri and sashimi were also a delight for the senses, and the quality blew me away. One of our dishes that contains 2 signature rolls had an especially beautiful presentation, and it was equally delicious. This is a BYOB restaurant. I was quite disappointed that by 9pm, the restaurant started to whine down the music and started to prepare for closing (they formally close at 9:30 pm). I'd love to see this restaurant have later hours, like maybe until 11:30 pm. The ambiance is alluring and sultry. Even though there were other couples and families there, I felt like only my bf and I existed in the world. Overall, this was the perfect place for my bf and I to celebrate Valentine's Day. We stayed there much longer than I had expected, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delectably divine experience. read more

Fantastic!!! We first sampled their sushi at The Best of The Mainline event and had to try it in person. The menu is very creative including interesting combinations including blue crab in the rolls and caviar on the hamachi carpaccio. Service was exceptional. Sushi is fantastic, always fresh and well presented. We drive 40 minutes to get there but I feel it's definitely worth the drive. Service is well done. The food presentation is marvelous, a work of Art. I have to take a moment , to click a pic,for a memory of what a delicious meal I have just consumed. I have eaten three times in the restaurant, thus far and take-out once. I prefer eating in the restaurant to enjoy the food and great service. When you enter the restaurant I am acknowledged immediately I am escorted to my favorite table, by Shannon , the waitress assigned to my table. She always asks me what do you feel like eating, something cold sushi, warm tempura or cold and warm combination plate. I trust her selections implicitly, and I am never disappointed. The food arrives at my table in a timely manner, and is placed on the table properly. The Ambiance is beautiful, clean lines, tables appropriately situated where you have privacy and the noise level is low, you are not overhearing the other patrons conversations. The designer of the restaurant had a vision of modern, simple but warm atmosphere that does not take away or distract from your delicious meals, but compliments it. I have to thank Alan, the manager, who has a calm manner which translates to his staff. I feel welcomed always, upon entering this lovely restaurant. read more

Sushi was delicious. Presentation? 10 out of 10. Shrimp pad Thai was very okay, not much flavor and shrimp was just alright. However, service was lacking massively. Our waiter was nice but once we got food we were never checked on again. When I needed something I had to ask another table's waiter. Then when we were done we just sat there looking for our waitress. Finally her head popped up. She was just sitting at a table in the other side of the wall, invisible to us. And we still had to wave her over to get the check. The service really made this go from a great new go-to sushi spot for us to a maybe never go back spot. read more

Had lunch with a friend during their soft opening. Nicely decorated and being new everything in order. We were early for lunch and being the soft opening it was not crowded. Service was pleasant and attentive. Good parking in their lot and on street. I had the Hamachi lunch special with several pieces of assorted sushi and a spicy tuna roll. All were fresh and tasty and a good lunch size portion. My friend, a non-sushi eater had shrimp pad thai which he said was very good and he was pleasantly surprised the number and size of the shrimp. My green tea was hot and I was told to let it steep for a few minutes which I did. Although a light beverage it was particularly light but not a major defect. I can't speculate on the noise level with a full house. There were 3 sushi chefs and our orders were delivered in good time. I look forward to visiting again and as it's near our home I'll certainly try take out. Very good first impression. read more
