I heard nothing but amazing things about this place, so I finally ordered.. My sub was sloppily put together, and falling apart with each bite I took. The almost half of a tomato that was thrown on my sub was not even edible. My fries were cold upon arrival.. The potato salad was delicious though.. First impressions are the most important, and I'm disappointed to say that I will not be wasting my money here again. I never write reviews but today I am I ordered a tuna sub for the gf and buffalo tenders for myself got them delivered paid the delivery driver gave him a tip open our bag and the tuna sub was messy you open it up and it's slopped together and my buffalo tenders weren't tossed in sauce like any other time I ask and receive them I called the store spoke to the manager, I myself work in a restaurant and if a customer says something's wrong with the food/service something gets done about it instead she tells me on the phone "their is nothing I can do" great customer service I will not order from you anymore read more

I ordered and when it got here the fries were cold. Not a big deal. I called back and asked for a credit on the fries. Then it blew up into a situation where they could not give me credit for the fries they wanted to send the driver back out to get the fries and give me new ones. And then the manager said I could not order from there anymore and she would call the police if I called back LOL!! This is the most unprofessional poorly run business I have come across in many many years it's very sad and they will not succeed for much longer if run into the ground by morons. Delicious!! Been craving a cheeseburger sub ever since I graduated.

Years ago I use to love this place. Went for the first time in a long time. They remodeled which looks nice, but also changed the subs and NOT for the better. Although remodeled, they should at least keep the seats clean. Crumbs on the tables and seats. Subs are very small compared to before, which would be fine except they aren't good ! $9 for a cheeseburger sub with very little burger and only one tomato slice cut in half for the ENTIRE sub ??? This place must be geared towards college students who don't know the value of a dollar or good food. $7 for a sub from Wegman's is physically twitch as big with 3 times the protein and some actual lettuce and tomatoes ! read more

At one time this may have been a great place to get a sub, but I would say no longer. I got two subs and a kids meal, $24. The sub while it is made with fresh ingredients certainly is lacking on the ingredients, for example I got one slice of tomato cut in half on an entire sub, and the meat very thin one slice thick. Ordered last night for delivery, it took almost 2 hours. They never stated they were busy, with no college kids in town I don't know how they could be that busy. The hot food was cold and the subs had hardly any meat, lots of lettuce though. They used to be the best in town, but know I think I'll stick to subway. read more

While the food is good, the service is terrible. Forget asking for additions or subtractions from your order. I got a salad the other day and asked for no onions... well I didn't get onions, tomatoes, cheese or peppers either. Matter of fact, all I got was meat, lettuce and salad dressing. This is a frequent occurence so I've given up on the place. Too often if you ask to leave off one item, they leave off several. And the other downfall is that the customer is never right. read more

Blech! After reading reviews on here I was expecting a pretty decent sub. My brother goes to college here and warned me against it as he disliked the place.. but I gave it a shot anyways. A lot of the college kids rave about it so I just decided, "what the heck". I go in and order an italian combo. Given quality meats, Italian bread, and some fresh oil and vinegar, this would seem to be an easy sandwich to dish out. Well, not for Oswego Sub Shop. The bread was typical, mushy, white bread (in a sub form of course) and was far far far far from fresh and came in a plastic bag. The meats were horrible and no where near thick.. which is probably a good thing in the end because they were just so terrible. The lettuce and tomato were not fresh.. some of my lettuce was even brown and wilted. Worst part is, a couple hours after consuming this unappetizing sub, I puked it all up upon feeling excruciating stomach pains. Maybe thats a good thing too. Who knows. Either way, SKIP THIS PLACE. I can honestly say SUBWAY IS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.. at least the bread is fresher. Oswego is no culinary delight. You can stop at Rudy's for some decent fried food in the summertime. Im from Germany and I go to Oswego once year on my vacation. First 2 years I came to meet with some friends, nowadays I come to Oswego to get some word-class footlongs. The cheeseburger and a chicken cutlet footlongs are top notch, had some other ones too and was never disappointed. After the renovation 2 years ago, I also like the atmosphere in the shop itself....... Going to Oswego again in 2 weeks, cant wait ;-) read more

It's sloppy but it's addicting. Whenever I go back to Oswego I can only dream of Slopping myself. I like the Italian Mix, no cheese, no onions, no mayo. Are they the best subs I've ever had? Not by a long shot. Are they even in the top ten? Probably not. But like I said, it's like crack for college kids. read more

I took everyone's advice and tried the cheeseburger sub with the works. Delicious! Yes, it makes good late-night food, but even perfectly sober, it's a darn good combination. I also tried the wings (they were out of Sal's) and they were OK, but the salad was very good. read more

The subs seem a bit pricey to not come with any sides off the bat. I usually hit them up for their half Italian sub with all of the toppings they are willing to give me. usually I love their subs, this last time, it was so-so. The good times outweigh the so-so time though. Their crowded lunch time speaks for itself. Nice folks, and they take cards also. read more

We don't have a very good sub shop near us, so we decided to stop in here on our way back from an hour at the park with my son. Their menu has quite the variety! When made correctly, the few subs we've tried have been delicious. We've been twice, and ordered to go twice. Of all 4 visits, someone's order always was incorrect. We'll definitely still be stopping in for food, but it's now a running joke to see which one was messed up. read more

Tonight was my first time in. The hamburger hero was AWSOME. a little overpriced but it was tasty and fresh.

Great wings and wraps. I have ordered there over 100 times in the recent past. The same thing probably 70 times. They messed my order up tonight because of the new girl I am guessing. Unwilling to compensate at all. I called and asked if they were handicap accessible and she had to ask the supervisor. She was unsure if the ramp met accessibility. There is no railing on the ramp that I know of since May. So as you see they love your money but are unwilling to give good service for food or accessibility. Will never order again. Bridie Manor has great 24 wings for $18.95 and cheap seats has the best walker wings. BTW great service at these locations and are up to ADA standards. read more

Subs are delicious but the service is terrible. Last time I ordered a sub with the works, which includes tomatoes, my sub came with one end slice of tomato on each half. I just called to order a sub and this time asked for a normal amount of tomatoes that aren't gross end pieces. The lady told me that one piece on each half is how they do it. I agreed to pay for extra tomatoes so I could have a normal amount. Then I asked that I not receive gross end pieces and she said you get what's in the bin. Very rude to someone who was going to pay extra for an already expensive sub. I won't be eating there again. read more

The Sal's Bleu sub comes highly recommended. They offer it as either beef or chicken but I suggest the chicken because that's what Sal's sauce is intended to be put on. The pizza sub leaves something to be desired, it tasted more like a meat and marinara with cheese sub than a pizza sub but hey, there's lots else I haven't tried. The restaurant is modern and clean and the service is prompt and speedy. read more
