Ridiculous fresh healthy Mexican. I love their food. Their tacos - all of them are so good. Portions are smaller but filling. The atmosphere is chic, and the staff is super nice. It's pretty busy considering it's not in the best location. I love their steak anything. Had the kale salad yesterday too, and it was surprisingly really really good. I'm not a big kale lover, but they cut it in to thin strips, added some quinoa, and some fruit, and it was tasty. That with some fresh avocado and steak and it was perfect. :) read more

This is my new favorite restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside but trust me, don't miss out on this place. My 2 year old son was crying and crying and the owner made him a free churro and then brought our whole table free fresh churros. Super friendly family business. Excellent food with great flavor. Was really looking forward to trying this place out. Atmosphere was great. Order got lost and we waited 45min... It happens. Avocado taco hit the spot. Hanger taco not so much (Taco meat should be soft enough that you don't pull it all out on the first bite). Also I like salt but this was too much; couldnt even finish the chicken taco. read more

One of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences I've had recently. I've heard nothing but good things about Oteo, but from the start our order was botched. We also had to ask for utensils with dishes that no sane person would ever attempt to eat bare-handed. A base tip is also set at 18%. For the lackluster service we were forced to write in a more appropriate tip with our server hovering. We will not be returning. read more

We were enticed by the cronut and it didn't disappoint. We started with the Queso fundido and it was delicious! I love that they used lightly grilled tortillas for this instead of actual chips. I got the beef sopes and my wife got the chicken tacos. My wife loved the chicken tacos. They tasted as if they had Italian dressing on them.. They were pretty good. I got the beef tacos and they were pretty good as well. The meat seemed a little cold and there was a lot of lime on it. The sopes could have been fried a little bit more but they were pretty good. We ended it with our free cronut with our Yelp check in. The cronut was great! Overall the food was pretty delicious. I wasn't amazed, but it is definitely a restaraunt worth trying. read more

Not sure what all the raving reviews are about. Maybe I got spoiled the last 9 years in Dallas. Queso appetizer was good but not great. Definitely had better. Most amazing tacos I've had this side of the border. Really I am speechless. I recommend starting with the Queso Fundido. It was delicious and the grease left my hand smelling like Violets, which was pleasant. My favorite taco was the Pork and the hangar special was a close second. Make sure you get cronuts for dessert. They will change your life. Start to finish, I'm not sure you can get a more satisfying meal for $15-$20 a person. Note that the service was a little slow for me. Not terrible, but for how busy it was, the staff seemed shorthanded. If you are expecting this, there should be no reason that you aren't 100% satisfied with this restaurant. read more

Oteo has the best Queso Fundido I have ever had. Warm stack of house made tortillas drizzled with a little oil, served with delicious melted cheese with a type of chili oil on top, it is SO good. The entrees were good, we had the hanger steak tacos as well as the carnitas empanadas, both had a very light, fresh taste. I will go back to the Queso Fundido alone. read more

Oteo knows delicious food and excellent service! I went for lunch with a friend and her preschooler who walked in and announced his full name and that he'd like a pizza. Chef Sam Oteo brought him a little pizza he whipped up (on the house) and lemonade (also on the house) and when I mentioned that I had driven from SLC, we were brought beautiful and delicious avocado tacos (on the house) just because it is the waiter's favorite and we had ordered chicken empanada and steak molote (both are wonderful!). Cute lil hole in the wall with amazing flavors. Love the tacos. I usually order an avacado taco with beets and radish with their organic chicken taco super tasty and simple, just comes with 2 flavorful tacos no side. Perfect for lunch. I totally love that they source local and organic ingredients, it says that at the top of their menu. My husband loves the sopes and molote they are delicious! We love the fruit salad as a fresh starter. They use high quality meats so totally worth the price. Not a lot of time for this one, but after learning about this place I sought after it to give it a try. In short, I enjoyed the food very much, which was a three taco plate, one Beef, one Pork and one Avocado. Each was prepared with savory and delicious accompaniments such as thin sliced veggies and spices and uniqueness right down to the home made corn or masa taco shells. The food is all sourced as locally as possible and its freshness was very apparent. I"d like to return soon to try a couple other things on the menu one of which includes the Queso Fundido. Probably would have given 5 stars except that the service was very slow as the two servers were playing the roles of hosts, servers, cashiers and bus boys. The ambiance needs improvement in my opinion. It is tucked away in the back side of an under utilized, almost somewhat of a ghost town of a shopping center, and it is very small. In my opinion at some point they will have to relocate to a better locale, to become a real player in the North Orem/Lindon dining scene. Location, location, location is what they say! read more

Food is always well prepared. If you ever visit this place you have to try their sopes and cochinita tacos . prices are a little bit higher than other places but it is totally worth it. This place is a true hidden gem. Nestled next to ballet classes, massage schools, and nail salons, it's a bit of an off location, but quite frankly that doesn't even matter. What matters is service, cleanliness, presentation and most importantly taste, and if I'm being honest this place hits the spot.
