Tried this place with a friend and it was okay. I honestly felt very ripped off and nickel and dimed. Their options are very limited at the base costs so look out for up charges. I ended up getting two steak tacos and they were good. We ordered the loaded chips and it took forever to be done almost until we were done eating and no one came in after us for a while so I'm not sure what the hold up was there unless they just forgot about it. There's not a lot of seating so be warned on a busy night you might be caught standing. I wouldn't go back but it was an okay option if you're in the area.

For many years this place was amazing. Sadly id think that we'll be returning due to changes in service and quality. It's become impersonal in their service..the past owner always made the environment welcoming . The menu favorites may still be on the menu but they std no longer prepared the same. Well. It was good while it lasted:(

We have been going to 180 tacos for a few years, I wish there were others in salt lake area, because driving to provo sucks. I always get the Buffalo chicken and Aalisa gets the carne and also the Buffalo. The tator tot ranch and Buffalo side is really good as well. Add another store farther north.

180 Tacos is a delicious twist on the classic taco. Our favs are the buffalo chicken and the carne asada taco. Any side you get will be delish! . We are obsessed with everything, but our most favorite thing on the menu is the loaded house chips. Everything about it is perfect

180 Tacos is not your traditional taco spot (and that's not a bad thing!) Their tacos are totally unique, but they also sell the classics. I stayed traditional and ordered 2 Steak Asada Tacos and the Loaded House Chips to share. The tacos were fresh and filling. The avocado with the asada was delicious. I will definitely order them again. The Loaded House Chips were so good and full of flavor! I could taste lime in every bite (I love lime) and the ranch was a great pairing with the chips. They have roped off every other table as a precaution for Covid so there is social distancing among those who dine in. They also have outside seating. I appreciate their efforts on staying open and keeping their customers safe. 180 Tacos is a great option if you're in the area!

Came here last night to celebrate a special occasion, so we went all out and ordered 6 tacos-- their top 4 most popular ones + al pastor + falafel. Hands down one of the most fun and yummy meals I've had in awhile. Each taco was SO unique and flavorful. After much discussion, we decided that our number #1 favorite was the Korean BBQ pork, followed by the falafel and steak tacos. The servers there were also SUPER helpful. They observed that it was our first time there and jumped in to answer any questions or offer recommendations. We only got tacos, but they also have rice bowls, taco salad, and different appetizers on their menu! Last but not least- they have Stubborn brand sofa as their fountain drink and it was so good. Such fun flavors-- pineapple cream soda, draft cola, açaí berry agave, and orange hibiscus, etc. Such a great experience, and we are already planning for the next time we go back to try the other flavors!

180 tacos has a little bit of a different spin on traditional tacos. I got the cascabel tacos that had a great tangy taste + a side of the rice. The chicken included pickled carrots which gave it a amazing tasting. The rice had some feta and I added in some salsa for more taste.

Okay, The Block might be my new favorite restaurant in Provo. Every single course delivered…read more We started with honey butter and rolls (dangerous in the best way), then moved to the ricotta and focaccia; perfectly balanced and honestly could've stopped there and been happy. But then came the steak, which was flat-out the best I've had in years. No notes. Here's the thing though, I'm not a gnocchi person. Never have been. Our server talked me into it anyway, and I'm genuinely grateful. It's a short rib and stew situation with gnocchi that somehow hits every note perfectly. Total convert now. And the s'mores pie to close out the night? Simply perfect. Don't skip it. The service was great too, our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us exactly right.

It was first time trying Block and overall it was a neutral experience. I was with a bigger party…read moreand our table was well attended to. However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

We came because we wanted gourmet burgers. Turns out that their two burgers were bison burger. No thanks. No matter. My friend and I had the Traditional Navajo Taco(s) and his wife had the Sheep's Steak Salad. Everything was delicious. I put the "s" in parentheses because the menu is in plural but it really is just one taco. The Navajo Taco description from their website: Our Navajo tacos are a true taste of tradition--crispy, fluffy fry bread tacos topped with flavorful ingredients, served alongside cilantro-lime rice and pinto beans. Whether you're searching for Indian tacos near you, Navajo food, or the best tacos in Provo, this dish hits the spot. Find out why so many call this the top Navajo taco at one of the most authentic Navajo restaurants around. Also known as Navaho tacos, it's a must-try comfort food. It was excellent. The fry bread was nice and spongy and the toppings were flavorful. The refried beans and the rice were also excellent. Not just good, but excellent. She really enjoyed her steak salad as well. All in all a really good meal, didn't even miss the gourmet burgers. So yes, you better make a reservation. And this was a Thursday night. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

For delicious foods, you'd expect it to take more time; but, at this restaurant, the chefs were able to make delicious foods in, probably, 30-40% less time. Bravo! 3. Pricing is reasonable. Ambiance: it's a smaller place and seating was a little cramped but still comfortable. Noise level is a little high due to seating density. Conclusion: Will I return? Most certainly.

The jalapeño ranch brings just enough heat to keep things interesting without overpowering the brightness of the mango or the creaminess of the avocado. It's a well-composed dish, and easily the best thing I have eaten so far during an entire week in Utah. The sweet potato fries matched it: crispy outside, soft inside, the kind of side you keep reaching for without meaning to. Service was fast, atmosphere rustic and clean. No ceremony, no friction. I am already rearranging my remaining days in Provo to fit in one more visit before leaving the state.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing…read more My husband picked up dinner for us tonight, and it was one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever spent on takeout. We ordered a large sweet potato fry to share, and the container was only filled about halfway. I also ordered the beet salad with extra red beets, extra gold beets, and extra goat cheese. We were charged an additional $1.50 for each add-on, yet my salad arrived with zero goat cheese, only four tiny slices of red beets, and five tiny slices of gold beets. Cubby's has always been notoriously stingy with the beets, which is exactly why I paid extra for additional toppings. Instead, I ended up with even less than the standard portion. In the end, I paid $18 for what was essentially a bowl of spring mix with two slices of avocado, three orange segments, no goat cheese, and nine paper-thin slices of beets. That's unacceptable. To make matters worse, we tried calling to speak with a manager, but the phones were turned off at 8:15 p.m., even though the restaurant advertises that it's open until 9:00 p.m. This was the last straw with Cubby's. The night shift clearly needs better training and quality control. Charging customers for extras and then not including them is not okay. If you want to waste your money on food that is carelessly prepared and doesn't match what you paid for, this is a great place to go.
