He said that he could bring it out to my car once it was ready, which I extra appreciated because it was not a very nice day out. My total was just shy of 20 bucks, at $19.27. I sorta understand. I mean, they're a local food truck and it seems that they strive to provide much better quality food than other fast food places...but this is pretty steep for just a burger and fries. The food did seem to come out pretty fast and I was excited to try it. The onion on the burger was a bit large, it was almost an inch thick and I think I would've preferred it cut up just a little more. The fries were pretty good but tasted a bit greasier than I would've liked. I did like that it came with a fry sauce. All in all, I really liked Burger Pioneers. I felt that all the flavors were a bit overpowering and almost bitter because of the greasy taste, but it wasn't a bad burger spot. I hope to be back when the weather is nicer with some friends.
