Salmon Taco
Kassi G.

What an amazing experience. Not only is the staff incredible but BOY will your taste buds be dancing a happy dance. The salmon taco was incredible- a journey with every bite. Steak taco was yummy but beware of spice. (; Queso was a fan favorite! Highly recommend by the whole group. The fruit salad was another appetizer favorite by all 7 individuals in our group. THE CHURROS. Please pause for a moment of silence for this heavenly desert... Get it to share and see everyone light up! Finally, we had a chance to talk with the owner and hear his story. It's a beautiful restaurant where you will also be supporting a family with a beautiful heart and vision. Enjoy! Hope to see you there.

Fruta: the combinations were sweet with tart and it worked incredibly well! The green apples were cut in such a fun way!

The first Saturday of every month they do a brunch. We did not know what was on the menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The chef is unbelievable, it's five stars every time we come. My youngest son ordered a quesadilla, the fresh tortilla combo with the rock salt was especially delicious. Not sure anything can beat the churros though!

Simple complexity that always delivers with consistency. One of the best places to eat anywhere

This pace is small, run by father and son and super yummy. Service is great. But the food is so flavorful and the owner just kept bring us new dishes to try. Soooo good! It's really small, like maybe 10 tables, but it's good.

First time trying Oteo and it did not disappoint! The parking lot is very small and we actually had to park across the street and walk over. The restaurant itself is small, quiet, and minimal. However, it's creates a nice intimate environment which I enjoyed. We started with the queso and it was absolutely delicious. It was so creamy and the jalapeños were a great addition to have some spice. The corn tortillas tasted homemade and I loved how you spin the cheese and put it into your tortilla. Would definitely get that every single time. I ordered the tacos. I got one salmon and one beef. The beef is advertised on the menu as a hangar steak and cooked medium rare. I will say, although the tortilla and the jalapeños were good for the taco, the beef itself was disappointing. It was chewy and cooked more like medium well. Didn't seem like the best quality either. There wasn't much pink at all in the meat. Some bites were flavorful and seasoned well and other bites had no flavor. I have to say, I was expecting a lot better - especially because our waitress said that was the best one. In my opinion, there also needed to be some type of sauce. The taco, likely due to the meat, was dry. The tortilla was delicious though. The salmon taco was the saving grace for the steak taco. It was a big piece of salmon and had amazing flavor. It was cooked perfectly. The sauces were creamy and delicious and all of the flavors complimented the fish very well. I would definitely order this again. I was very impressed. The service was really good too and they made sure to refill our drinks throughout our meal. I will definitely be back here for the queso and the salmon taco. I would like to try the shrimp taco as well. Pass on the steak taco. There's better in the valley.

I have been here three times and have tried three different entrees. They have all been delicious and perfectly cooked. They also have wonderful service. I loved that they brought my toddler a quesadilla right away to help her stay occupied and happy. This is a small restaurant with a small parking lot, but they make up for it with big flavor and great customer service. It is very clean and well decorated. Very cozy and intimate. I recommend it to everyone!

Stopped by when we had a taco craving, turns they're doing a Saturday brunch prix fixe for $30 so we decided to stay. It was fabulous!! Fresh, interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. Coffee or some other drinks would be the icing on the cake. We will absolutely be back for another meal!

I love the small, intimate, cozy ambiance of this restaurant in residential Lindon. The service is friendly and quick. The flavors are unique and contrasting. I love the presentation of the food, so colorful. Their queso dip is the best I've had, and the tortillas are thick and taste homemade. I've been here 3 times now, and I've been happy with my experience every time. Fresh, filling, and flavorful!

Churros

This was pretty tasty! I enjoyed the beef Molote. The beef was well cooked and the fried masa base was really good. We shared the queso and then shared churros and flan, all of which were good. Churros were fresh, warm, and doughy. The queso had a very unique taste and we all liked it. My only issue is it's a very small space and the waitress hovered a lot and we felt rushed, haha. But we overall had a good experience.

Doesn't seem too much of a restaurant. We drive by every day, but we never see a parked car or any people in the small lot.

I ordered the sweet potato and chicken bowl. It's a yummy bowl (the broccoli throws the taste off a bit) but my sweet potatoes were cold while every other thing was warm. When I asked the girl was like "well the dressing makes it colder but it should be warmed" I said "the dressing would of course affect the temp but the potatoes are the only thing cold" I just let it go because she definitely didn't seem like she understood. The styrofoam cups are not convenient to hold and don't come out until your food is out. There were no tops out and the ice machine was on its last straw the whole time we were there. When I told the girls about the bathroom not having a working paper towel machine and the door being hard to lock it was also brushed off. When you're paying $15 for a bowl, these are just the little things that kind of make a difference.

The roasted sweet potatoes were served cold instead of warm, which I get but it was pretty off-putting. The proportions seemed lopsided too--some ingredients were generous, others barely noticeable--making the bowl feel unbalanced. And my pita bread was really soggy. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. If you're looking for a fresh, healthier options, I think Tossd is your spot. I need to explore the menu a bit more and see if there's another bowl/salad that makes me want to go to Tossd time and time again.

From the very beginning, their team went above and beyond. I dropped off custom signage and small floral arrangements the day before, and they thoughtfully kept the flowers chilled overnight. When we arrived, they had opened beautifully and looked absolutely stunning. That level of care meant everything. A huge thank you to manager Dave, event coordinator Aubrey, Brian Power and the entire service team. They handled our group of 16 effortlessly, anticipating needs before we even had to ask. The timing, organization, and attention to detail were flawless. Every guest felt taken care of. The food was incredible, the service was exceptional, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated from start to finish. This weekend was spectacular in LARGE part because of them. I truly believe there is no better place to host a luncheon or special event. Every single guest is still talking about it, and that says everything. With every order you received a Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) that will make you crave more! I ordered the tri tip madeira bowl and the steak was well seasoned, and well portioned. The sweet potato bites stole the show as they had both white and jewel sweet potatoes. I did order an extra side for my toddler but be warned they are a little spicy. I recommend asking without spice. We also ordered the chai, excellent spice to sweet ratio. The servers were very accommodating and even helped us when the toddler made a tiny spill. I had the equivalent of a kale Cesar salad and the salad came with a spicy mango dressing. I wasn't impressed with the dressing and neither was a fan of the salad based on the dressing alone. But the salad was redeemed by the Parmesan crisps and the many other delicious toppings that went well with the salad. I might just ask for a different dressing next time. The cheese bread that came with the meal was delicious and warm. I think their menu could also be more readable. There's a lot of items up there and it can be hard to read. One thing I do like is that once they give you the number when you order, they will find you and bring your food to you. There's a few tables (around 4) outside, so this place is conducive to having pets with you at lunch outside as well.

A pleasant finding-I could either purchase the ingredients to make an omelette myself, or pay to have someone make it for me. It's a no brainer in my world-I'll always opt to have someone else cook if I have the choice. The omelette was pretty good-packed with veggies. I would have loved more mushrooms and less onions, but that's a personal preference. The atmosphere is casual and inviting-with seating both in the cafe area as well as outside along the front wall of the store. It's located in a strip mall, so it's easy to find and has plenty of shared parking out front. The panini and the fries are quite tasty. I think the most unique item is the oat cake, which is a hearty bite for sure. The soup, sadly, is not very good, which is kind of a letdown, because it's hard to do poorly with tomato soup. You're supposed to serve the soup yourself, but we weren't aware of that, and the staff was nice enough to dish it up for us! The store portion offers tons of quality healthy foods. If you're following a specific diet, just be advised to check the labels. Some items are definitely "cleaner" than others.
