Never a bad meal... always consistent. I always get the Turkey Burger, no roll I'm gluten free and it really is the best burger! Taste like they grind the turkey themselves. My partner always gets something different. He has had the ribs, the steak and never disappointed. They start him off with a nice loaf of warm bread with flavored butter...every time you go it's different and he says it's good. He also enjoys the shrimp cocktail, never chewy always cooked just right. The soup is good too what he stated. We enjoy sitting at the bar, sometimes order there. We love this place!!! Waitstaff is always attentive, with great attitudes! Food is your standard pub food, but done well. The French Onion Soup is one of the best in the area and like their take on Calamari. Piled high atop a bed of perfectly golden-crispy-crunchy-on-the-outside french fried potatoes, these tenders will BLOW YOU AWAY. The tenders appear to be lightly grilled underneath prior to their oil-bath, rendering a snappy, yet tender texture, and will massage your taste buds with a healthy lubrication of O&O's signature buffaque blend. Thank goodness for yelp. We were on a long drive home (Toronto to Boston) and wanted to break up the trip and eat real food. This restaurant located within the golf course clubhouse was great! You know you are in for a great meal when the crusty bread with herbed butter starts the night. Yum.6oz sirloin cooked perfect with twice baked potato,French onion soup all delicious. Scallops with gruyere was also superb. Glad we made it off the highway and to this gem. read more

Located in the clubhouse of the Mill Road Acres executive golf course, O&O's offers a typical pub style menu, with a special focus on their ribs. We had a decent experience there recently when our family of four chose to dine out on the deck/patio overlooking the driving range. Everything we had was better than average, though nothing, including the ribs, was 5 star sensational. Service was prompt, friendly and accurate despite it being a bit busy during our visit. Mixed drinks are a tad overpriced and the beer menu could use some expansion, but these are minor quibbles. I imagine we'll wander back here at some point. read more

And they all gathered around the front entrance....little awkward especially when no one seemed confident in what they were doing. The restaurant and its location are pretty. The staff is friendly and competent. My lunch, a Buffalo chicken wrap, was good, but not great. I could have gotten the same thing at a franchise restaurant. The New England clam chowder was awful. It was thickened with too much flour and that's all I could taste. The cole slaw was blah, much like any other restaurant, and it always makes me wonder why restaurants don't shake things up with sides. My companion had the ribs and was pleased with the tenderness and flavor. She did say that the flavor, while good, was nothing unusual. I took a small taste of hers and didn't think it special. She had macaroni salad as the side and thought it blah. Her appetizer was the spud bites. It was a very generous portion, most of which she took home. She thought they were good, not great but good. I tried one and thought it was just OK. The worst thing, though, is the noise. OMG!!! The acoustics are dreadful. The all-wood decor is beautiful, but there is nothing to absorb the sound of a couple of dozen people chatting. The louder it got, the less people can hear, so the louder they talk. It was truly an awful experience because of the noise, so even if the food had been as terrific as others think it is, I'd never go back because of the noise. My boyfriend and I visited last night for dinner and were surprised at how bad the experience was, since he had been here before and we were both looking forward to it. It was very busy when we arrived, though fortunately, we were able to be seated immediately. Understandably, the service was a bit slow because of the large number of parties. However, our waitress seemed to cater to other tables before coming to ours. The tables nearby were already visited several times before our waitress came to take our drink orders. My wine glass was pretty dirty, though I just wiped it off and didn't mention anything. I'm not the type to complain and usually don't write reviews either. After awhile, she came to take our meal orders and we asked if there were any other vegetarian options, since the only entree is a veggie wrap. She started listing fish dishes, so we politely asked if there was anything purely vegetarian, to which she offered the wrap as well as the appetizer quesadillas. I was planning on just ordering the quesadillas, but wanted to at least see if there were other options. We were ready to place our order, but she impatiently snapped "I'll be back" and raced off without explanation before we could place an order. She acted quite unprofessional and we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. I do not mind slow service when a restaurant is busy, but we did not appreciate how she acted, as if we didn't matter because we were a table of two instead of a larger party and she didn't have time for us. Unfortunately, we won't be back and would not recommend this place to others. read more

Outstanding we went there two nights ago for the first time. We all had the Thanksgiving soup and then my grandmother and wife had the specie mahi mahi because my grandmother said they are hot stuff. Never again. One was to high but they didn't have a zero on the ratings. Went there with a party of 12. Started my order with an order of 10 bone in wings. Glad I didn't order the 20. These were dried out, overcooked and hard. Maybe they were precooked and heated in a microwave and tossed in some sauce. I don't know. Luckily I had a soda to try to swallow them with. I ordered a turkey club and my wife ordered a chicken salad wrap that caught her eye because of the granny smith apples in it. It had 1 little piece or apple in the whole wrap. Are you kidding me. I ate 1/4 of my turkey club that wasn't that great because after the wings I wasn't feeling so good and got the rest to come home. Talking to the one person that ordered the black and blue steak and his was mostly grizzle. Another didn't enjoy his steak either. His wife's ribs looked dried out but she said they were good. Looking down the row of tables with our party I seen that many plates with a lot of food on them and no one wanted to go bags. When I got home I tried the rest of my club sandwich and the reason it was hard was the bread on the top was a nice brown but on the inside it was a nice hard, burnt and charred black slice of bread. Oh and 1 slice of bacon for the club. Into the garbage. Once again, never again. I almost forgot. The warm bread they bring you with butter before your meal was excellent. So they deserve the 1 and not a zero. read more

I went to Otis & Oliver's years ago when it was still in Cocca's and when I moved back to Colonie I wanted to try it again. I finally went back last night to try their new location at the golf course, and it was just as good and friendly as I remembered! The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away and our server was very sweet and attentive. There seemed to be mostly "regulars" there, but we didn't feel unwelcome at all. I ordered the scallops Gruyere for my entree and they were delicious! Cooked perfectly and the breading and cheese were so good! My husband ordered fish and chips, and the fish was HUGE! My husband is a 6'5" muscular dude who can eat all day, and he was very satisfied, and said it was really tasty. The kids menu was basic, but my 3 year old only eats grilled cheese, so she was happy lol. We will definitely go back again to try other meals! read more

I visit there frequently, it is a favorite for my wife and I. Their ribeye steak, barbecued ribs, and salmon are phenomenal. They have a nice friendly bar crowd and a very homey atmosphere. The bartender, Bobby is a riot, once you get to know him. the pub ribs is a smaller portion of their rib dinner, but more than enough for casual dining. I'd really recommend starting there and exploring the menu on the visits that I'm sure will follow. read more
