Food is delicious! Highly recommend the Korean Rice Bowl! If you love bulgogi you'll love it! All of their dishes are very good from the spicy burger to mushroom tacos. The service is amazing and can get crowded during brunch and dinner times! Everyone is pretty respectful and it's a fun crowd. Arrived at 1:15 on a Sunday - on which their closing time is 2 - and they wouldn't seat us (despite plenty of tables) because we were a group of 8 and the kitchen was too busy. It seemed like a nice enough place, but since most of the people checking Yelp reviews are likely out of towners like us stopping on the way from NY to Quebec, coordinating to meet at a place and having them refuse to serve you makes it hard to recommend. read more

It took over an hour for our meals to arrive. I wish they would have warned us about the long wait before we decided to stay. The place is extremely loud and they never checked on us. The food was not worth the wait; I ordered a schnitzel, and the meat was laughably thin, as thin as a napkin. Sometimes you want to support local businesses, but they need to do better. read more

Ate outside on a nice early fall afternoon. Kaiden, our server, was right on top of things. He was extremely pleasant and helpful and remained attentive but not at all overbearing throughout. I ordered fish tacos to go. On their website it said it came with sweet potato waffle fries. When I got home and opened up the box, I got a side of tortilla chips instead without any salsa. The fish in the tacos was soggy, there was not much sauce. I can't say I would recommend SIP to go. read more

We had a great time. This is the first taste of NYC living we've experienced since moving to the North Country. Graffiti art murals adorn the walls, bar stools, tables and museumesque booth seating options available. The diversity of the patrons was mirrored by the diversity of offerings on the menu. We ordered fish tacos and a Cubano. The Queen drank two of the adult beverages. Everything was to our delight. There is a buzz in the air of people making happy memories with the ambience of soft lighting and low music playing in the background. Sip hit a homerun and tko'd my expectations with baseball and boxing on the flat screens behind the bar. The highlight of our night was the great conversation we had with our charming server Riley. My husband and I went to SIP last night for dinner. The place was busy, so we put our name on the list. After about a half hour or so, my husband went in to check how much longer for a table. Well I guess they forgot about us waiting for a table. About 5 minutes go by, and we are seated in one of there booths that they reserve for large groups. The staff the was very apologetic the whole time. Our server Ariel was amazing and very knowledgeable. An she even made some food suggestions that we decided to order. At Ariel's suggestion we ordered the Pulled Pork Poutine. An it was amazing. My husband ordered the Chicken n Biscuits, and I ordered the OG Smash burger. Everything was super yummy, and definitely worth the wait. We also ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheesecake. It was also delicious. We definitely will be back. read more

Was bringing my grandmother to the airport and we wanted a quick bite before she boarded her flight. We had amazing service. We each had a delicious beer and we split a Caesar salad and the fish and chips. The food was outstanding. The kitchen even cooked our meal a little early for us as it was on the dinner menu and we didn't realize when we were ordering. This will be a new airport drop off tradition. Great staff. The signage around the correct entry was sparse and confusing. The spray-painted decor is an eyesore. Starting with drinks, they were out of the beer I ordered, which is obviously fine, but there was no indication of this given before I attempted to order it. The service was otherwise great. I had the liquid villain cocktail instead, which was very good. However, I ordered the noodle bowl, which is barely a step above packet ramen. The broth was flavorless, and the vegetables were cut too large to be served raw on top. Overall, not a good experience and I really can't recommend it. read more

Lemme break this masterpiece of a restaurant down for you. I have been there 3-4 times and every-time it is bang on and then some. The atmosphere and decor is modern and hip, some people do not like it but I think it is retro American/ Industrial in vibe. The first time I went I got a Steak Caesar salad special. Let me tell you something it was the best salad I have ever had in my life. The Caesar dressing was perfect, and the steak was perfectly marinated in a Asian sweet spicy marinade. It was honestly divine and the service was incredible. The second time I went with friends and got the pork tacos with sweet potato chips, and a special glazed donut hard cider. The tacos were packing the flavor, and were a perfect way to warm up during the winter. The sweet potato chips were light and crispy, picking lots of sweet potato flavor with a slight flavor of salt. Another amazing experience even on a busy night. The third time was amazing. Went with my friend, not busy, a nice summer day. I got the Philly cheesesteak melt. WOW! The best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I have ever had in the north country. Fresh (good) portion of steak, great cheese mixed with peppers (onions but I passed on these), served on a panini pressed roll. It was divine with the savory steak, and cheese with the sweet contrast of the peppers. The fries were incredible as well, shoestring style, but clearly homemade. They packed a good crisp and paired great with the ketchup. Ordered funfetti cheesecake for dessert (to go). Was good (I love cheesecake) , but needed a sauce or topping to really bring it home. Draft list was a little small but was pleased to see they also offered prosecco (if it had been a different time, I would have indulged) The chips and salsa were on point. The pico has a great blend of spices the balance with the garlic and onion quite well. Chips were clearly homemade, warm and seasoned well! I ordered the chicken tenders, the pieces were pounded thin and lightly breaded and fried... I don't want this to sound negative by comparing them to Popeyes but I feel like sips tenders are what Popeyes tenders are trying to be but failing. Wife got the chicken pesto sandwich. The grilled breast was a bit dry but if you have it with the pesto, it was fine. A great meal overall, cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Just in town for a few days, found Sip on Yelp and was blown away. Staff was efficient and friendly and handled the rush that followed our arrival with ease. Being from Texas, the chips and queso was a great Suprise being this far north. The chips were fresh and thick and the queso had a nice kick. Ya cant have that without a Margarita, and that was strong and just tart enough. I went for the fish tacos and the hand cut FF that taste as good as they look. (I ate the 3rd taco cold the next day and it was delicious). When I am in Plattsburgh I will return to Sip, I suggest you do the same. read more

Just had a great lunch, lime Caesar salad with falafel. Don't be scared by the lime--a lime Caesar salad doesn't taste like lime, it's just a great Caesar salad--the lime just adds a certain "brightness."
