Ok so I am a 27 year old entrepreneur. I have several businesses but this one Particular business is based on renting out mascots. my team & I which is some young girls in high school was invited to a birthday party with the Cocomelon Mascot ..!! they requested a 30 minute package which consider two characters mix and mingle meet and greet but upon arrival she stated that well requested that one mascot go on one side to play with the kids and wanna go say happy birthday she stated that her mask is way much better and she didn't want anyone to think they was with her for whatever reason because she was very rude and nasty. but yet we did just that one went to go sing happy birthday and the other one playEd with the kids also her staff is very rude we don't know these people we was just invited to a party they felt very uncomfortable they are teenagers their self and the owner it was but I didn't I truthfully really didn't care but I also feel that it was very unprofessional of the things that she said and not just what she said it was how she said it absolutely I don't care what looks better I was there for a business only ..!! But yet we still stay in the mascot see you had an amazing time we don't do this for the adults we do this for the kids Also this is not a place where I will even throw a birthday party at they have very hard concrete where kids are running jumping and playing they also can hurt themselves..!! We just had a party here from my neice and daughter turning 4. The kids had a great time, the staff and owner were friendly and helpful. The set up was so cute and loved how the play rooms were small for children. The suggestion I would make is a better set up of the mat/soft space were the infants would play. The candy table was misleading especially since it was extra and the kids were told it went in the gift bags that were extra. I definitely think the prices are too high for what you get. read more

Horrible!!! What I had paid for and was agreed upon at the time for my party I was not given and when I try to express the fact that this is not the correct venue to my host I will shut down and told well you have to wait till the person who signed a contract is here so which by the way is not in the contract several patrons of my party wound up leaving early because they could not walk up and down the stairs to get to the room that they had moved us to once again they moved us to this room without asking us and it was again not what was on the contract for I paid $1,000 for this party actually I'm sorry it was $948 the goodie bags and the t-shirts and party favors that the children were supposed to get they did not the party was hosted by teenagers who spent more time on their cell phones and they did actually interacting with my party guests and the building does not have heat this is Michigan in November it was freezing in there there was no soap in the bathrooms either again when attempts were made to reach out to the owner we were shut down her comments responding to the review I left on her Facebook page she's blaming everything on me if you are a business owner you have to accept some of the responsibility for your patrons not being happy with the service that was rendered not blaming everything on them and that's what this person is doing I would not suggest anyone go there for the amount of money that we spent we did not get anything the kids being kids still had a good time but my adults were cold uncomfortable and I'm left with a severe bad taste in my mouth after spending $1,000 read more

Yikes! After a misunderstanding about whether they would hold a 3 day camp event during a school vacation, I called to inquire about a refund. The owner may have been having a rough day but she was extremely rude. She cut me off several times, her tone of voice was condescending and when I told her that based on the interaction I would definitely not feel comfortable having my daughter attend a camp, her response was "yeah that's alright whatever." The party room was decorated nicely and the decorations were colorful, and coordinated. As much as I wanted to LOVE this place, I cannot make myself do it. There are some details where this place could improve upon: 1. Lighting: The play area is cavernous. I bit might more light might making playing for the kids and adults safer and more fun. 2. Air conditioning: The upstairs party room was steamy and hot. The air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning or the room is not properly ventilated. 3. Employees Friendliness: I couldn't tell who worked there. No name tags or uniforms that I remembered. The one employee that responded to a question didn't even look up from her IPAD. 4. Layout: The party room is on the second floor and the play room is on the first floor -- that's a big disconnect. 5. Activities: The play area appears to loaded with Salvation Army, garage sale stuff. Also, I thing the level of play engagement is not high. I think this place might be OK for a five-six year old child, but not any older. Also, some areas of the small play room is designed for short people, since the roofs of the play areas are very low - you cannot safely interact/play with the kids if you are over 5 feet tall. 6. Cleanliness: Since the play area is soooo dark, I think the area is not very clean, but it is sooo dark so it is hard to really see the place. 7. Party Room: The layout is unwelcoming, with a small-ish kitchen area and corners of the room that are not well thought out. It is an odd looking place, with a bizarre layout and dim lighting in the play area. If you are looking for a location to have a young child's party, this might be the place for you, but I might visit the place first before buying a GroupOn. read more

THIS PLACE IS SIMPLY MAGICAL!!!! I took My 2 year old nephew here for an afternoon of open Play. I was immediately drawn to the creativity in the building!. There are several rooms for imaginative play, dress up, blocks, bouncy house and climbing! A great place to take the children during the day or anytime! I recently had a party there for my twins 1st birthday. It is a great space however the owner Kandis is rude, unprofessional and LIES about what your party package will detail. When I originally went to book my party we did a walk through and talk about the space and the party. Everything she told me I would receive and get for the $600. I didn't get. I had to share my space with another party. My decorations where plain green cups and napkins from the dollar store. Every time I tried to call her/text her regarding my party she wouldn't return my calls however she called my every day(2X) a day to collect her last $100 dollars from me( the party has to be paid in full 14 prior to the bday). Ended up spending $1300 here for a mediocre 1yr old party. I paid for the works (deluxe decorations & linen, balloons, treat table AND candy bags, food, drinks and cupcakes) for 25 kids. She did the bare minimum. Only 2 sitting tables had linen, others were bare, not enough seating for 25kids, not enough drinks, not enough cupcakes and they were mini instead of regular size, made a candy table instead of treat table and only chips and a bouncy ball in some of the candy bags, pizza was horrible, loft space kept over heating, no fridge for the ice cream, no coolers, no knife for the cake, the only adult running the place was gone for 2hrs out of 3 and left 2 very unfriendly minors no older than 16 running the place... I could go on forever. I agree with the other review about Kandis being very condescending. She was very nonchalant and semi rude when I expressed my disapproval. Thinking about filing a civil suit just because I really feel like she over charged me and did not provide the flawless party that was described in my contract. read more

We recently had a party here for our children. NEVER EVER! Will we recommend or have anything else here. We walked in and fell in love with the space. We met the owner Kandis. The initial meeting was nice although she talked around a few things but nothing major we thinking "business jargon..right...WRONG!! Ok so We decided to rent the space because the concept was nice. We placed a deposit. Then, We we paid the party in FULL. We received our contract and receipt. We followed everything on the contract clause before and day of the party. Again ,WE followed everything on the contract NOT the Staff. Day of the party, mediocre decorations, unorganized, staff rude and very nonchalant. I will upload pictures so you can compare yourself. Don't not let her social media decor fool you. This is only for the "SELECT" and "ELITE" client in her words. One previous party goer on FACEBOOK stated that she wouldnt have a funeral here SMH. Check out her replies on FACEBOOK to that. If she only knew her clientele, I'm sure she would regret allowing things to happen on OUR money and time as she did. . If I would've saw her responsive on the SOCIAL MEDIA prior to booking I would've RAN!!! OH and after your party is paid in FULL. Her attitude changes DRASTICALLY. So day of the party, The staff was not attentive. We were so embarrassed to have our guest alert her five family members that she have on payroll and which she called " staff" asking for napkins, cutlery, drinks , just overall directions. Things that was paid and included in the packages she offered not honored. If you think I'm lying, book a party. No, try open play and see who you will deal with. Also you don't know who is a party goer or "family/staff member" because no one wears anything to identify themselves. This was a complete joke. Don't think it's all peachy fun per SOCIAL MEDIA. SOCIAL MEDIA will have you fooled. I would rather take my children, money to a venue that is Professional, Organized, not a Con Artist . A venue that understand customer service and the benefits of establishing longevity of clientele. Please please don't let this "new idea kid space" fool you like it fooled us. I am not one for blasting a company just because of a few hit or miss. Day of a party, things can happen...I get it. However when you experience what we experience and the amount of money asked for.. ridiculous and unacceptable. Venue space starts at $395 and up. Don't sound like a bad idea if every thing is all inclusive like she said right... WRONG. Avoid it at all cost. The GROUPON deal is a joke too. Don't do it. Kandis has only been in business under 2 years and she have a very longgggggggggggggggggggggg way to go. Kandis, you and YOUR little Big world needs to close and start over. This place is not only OVER priced but NOT fit for a party. I had a birthday party here that was set up nice but not comfortable. I was told my party would be on the stage area since I was throwing a 2 year old party but when I arrived it was up a flight of stairs that was hard for my grandmother to climb and I also had to call one of my guest and let them know they couldn't attend because it was not wheel chair accessible. The room was extremely hot and far away from the supposedly play area (that looked like someone junk off the curb). I couldn't hear the music which was not kid friendly for a two year old party anyway but was told to plug my phone to a speaker to play music, I didn't feel that was right when I was charged so much. I was late for my party, which is my own fought but my pizza was extremely cold and old looking, the owner told me the pizzas was pre-order but why would she do that if your not for sure if the guest is coming, the pizza should not be ordered until the guest has arrived. I was told by the owner I could use the microwave to reheat the pizza up but each staff member that seen me doing that was not only looking at me funny but also told me I couldn't be in there and closed the door in my face. No one likes heated up pizza but I couldn't ruin my daughters party so I just went with it even though I was totally against it. They only had one juice dispenser on the table that was hard to use and when it was low, the staff poured half Hawaiian punch and half water in the jug and my husband was very disappointed. I was charged an extra 100 to stay an extra hour because of my own lateness but that was for the staff that I only seen when the party was almost over. I asked the owner where was my host and she said she was it, confused me a lot when I felt I paid an extra hour to host my own party. All the supposedly hosts did was break down my candy table that had bugs in the cookies and no one dared to apologized nor offer me any of my money back for anything that was not right. The owner asked more than 5 times for the money that was owed but was not making sure my party was comfortable. Now the play area is a whole different story, those pictures on the website is completely false advertisement, That place is so dark and gloomy and threw together in a nasty way. I didn't even want my child playing on any of those old looking need to be replaced toys. The owner knows she's over pricing people and I feel she is not doing it for the love of the children. I wish I would of took my $800 and went to chuck e cheese, as much as I dislike that place it has more stuff for children to do and less money I would of paid.Like I stated the decorations was nice but NOT worth $800.00. I feel I should be refunded some of my money but the way the owner carries herself from my view I don't even feel like the hassle in trying to explain to her why some of my money should be returned. I own my own business and I know this was not acceptable and very unprofessional but some people might like this place and likes to be over priced but I should have done my party myself I feel I would of got better results. The day of my party it was a very big party going on that most of the guest was hanging outside smoking weed and drinking while the rest was inside and it made my guest feel very uncomfortable, which I don't know if the owner said anything I was just glad it was over.
