It's a bowling alley with a built in babysitter!!!!! I love this place. Some of the photo's are unjustly harsh, buildings have times where the maintenance is overwhelming. This was my first and last time going to Waterford lanes. My friends and I decided to go last minute to bowl, and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated with nothing but disrespect. The staff was insanely rude for no reason. On top of that, The group next to us got into it with the staff for who knows what reason, and somehow my group also got kicked out because we were standing next to the scene. I tried to explain that we were not involved and they said "come back another time" ??? How does that solve anything. I will literally never go back there. This place is a gem! It's been around for years and we have been hanging out and having birthday parties for over 8 years. Slowly but surely they have been updating and upgrading everything. The bounce area is my kids favorite, they love the VR and little Arcade, the food is so good! Especially for bowling alley food. Real pizza, real burgers, real fries and more! When you do have a party they are great with service and it is so much more affordable then other places! We love it here and we will continue to be loyal customers :)! read more

This place is a great place to visit and have fun get drinks in the large bar area with all sorts of other games to play or have your kids play in the huge play area with lots of video games and bounce houses. Even when and if people start cussing and waving fingers in others faces throwing a violent fit they are promptly removed and not tolerated. read more

Came here for a birthday party for my grown twin son's and their families to include three young grandchildren. This bowing alley offers quite a bit under one roof to include a large number of lanes, many with bumpers for small kids, a very large multi bounce house area for small kids to include some arcade games and a bar area for large groups where on the night we were there a large poker tournament was being played. They also have a kitchen area that serves fast food that includes pizza, chicken nuggets, fries, burgers, hot dogs and similar type food. Another thing of note with this business is that they offer party packages that include pizza, bowling and bounce house options, with large table areas throughout the facility making this a great option for kids parties in particular or even a team building event for a business. RUN AWAY.....The most horrible experience ever, horrible and rude staff and even the owner didn't give two craps about our experience! My sister and I came in with four kids total. We were the first to get there at 3:30 p.m. and immediately came to the register to an already attitudy supposed "manager". She asked with attitude if it was only the 4 kids playing and if they needed shoes. I said yes and paid the $33 she asked me for for lanes 1 & 2. She copped attitude with the kids telling them not to go up to the lanes because their shoes were wet from the snow - they weren't! We get to the lanes after picking up the shoes and she added bumpers for the kids. Didn't explain anything to us and we proceeded to start playing. We ordered food - large pizza, chicken tenders, stromboli, basket of fries and chicken wings. My sister paid $53 and $7 tip - regrettably!!! Soon after, both lanes and their games stopped working - not sure why. I went to the counter to get more attitude copped and an eye roll saying that the game must have gotten screwed up because of the kids than proceeds to have me come around and show me. So $33 for two lanes for 30 minutes of bowling. Meanwhile when we first started, she never explained anything we needed to do on the screens before the game started! Great customer service. I walked back to our lanes and asked my sister for the receipt for our food to just cancel because of all this and as I was walking to the front, Mrs. Attitude started walking towards me with some of the food. My sister was talking to her and she immediately started getting snippy again to where my sister told her not to yell at her. She said she needed to go back and get the stromboli. We both walked to the front and waited to speak with the owner who was helping another family - being nice and courteous and obviously seeing the two of us standing there pissed off asking to talk to her. We explained what happened to her - she prints out the two games to explain what happened and why the lanes stopped running. We explained that we never got information on what needed to happen because of her crappy manager and her customer service. Didn't apologize for the lack of communication, how the game works at their establishment and the manager's rudeness! She didn't even offer to start the game again - LIKE A REAL OWNER WOULD AFTER OUR EXPERIENCE! Isn't having great customer service in an establishment key?? Shouldn't you be apologetic for having crappy staff? Shouldn't you be accomodating to TWO people who received crappy customer service from the same person? I'm going to say yes!!! Food comes, our kids started to eat and go to the game area, because we want to spend more money at this shitty business right? A male walks up to us to tell us "ok guys, other people are coming"! DID THIS MEAN HE WAS KICKING US OUT??? My sister and I looked at each other asking if we were getting kicked out. Is this person serious? Is this how this business is run? Is the owner ok with it? Did the owner tell him to come and kick us out? It was appalling!!! Our kids were still eating, we still had half a pizza, some chicken tenders and fries left! This is only for the bounce house section and pizza The bounce houses are good my kids love them. They seem clean and I asked the girl sitting by entrance if they were sanitized and she said yes I do it myself which means they aren't professionally sanitized they are wiped with a disinfectant wipe. There is one bounce house that is black inside u can't see in and the kids can barely see inside. Now why I took away 1 star. U have a kid section and there is weird doors all over and plugs and there are random unsecured outlet plugs along the walls and cords all over even on the arcade part. I had my sons 4th birthday party here a few weeks ago and it was amazing! I'd gotten the bowling and bounce party for about 15 children and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. Besides us, there was only one other party going on. The bounce section had about 4 or 5 different bouncy's the kids could jump on and they have a mini arcade as well. They did everything from the clean up to the set up and I only needed to put down $10 as a deposit. My son had a great time and they gave him a bowling pin for everyone to sign. I have a big family so, between the amount of adults and the amount of children, the party was a very reasonable price. Also, they have the BEST pizza I've ever had at a bowling alley!!! read more

You're going to want to join a league here. Your children are going to want to live here. This bowling alley is huge compared to others located near it. There are 40 lanes. Not only do they have the ginormous alley, but they are also home to a children's jumping palace! Where there are 5 huge inflatables for kids to bounce to their hearts content. On the weekend, the bounce room costs $5 an hour or $10 for a all-day bracelet. Both the bowling alley and bounce room offer children's birthday party packages. Waterford Lanes offers one of the best deals for the Kids Bowl Free summer program. Most alleys only offer the program from late May until early September. Waterford Lanes program began April 1st, and ends at the end of September. We didn't try it, but the prices were decent. Going to climb on my soapbox now with a note to parents everywhere. Just because a facility offers alcohol, it doesn't mean you have to partake. It is ultra tacky to sit with a table of shots and mugs of beer while you are spending the day with your kids. There's a time and a place folks. I've been avoiding writing a review for Waterford Lanes because usually by the time we hit the bowling alley I've had a few too many to really give the place an honest look. Last weekend I was DD and actually was able to recollect the overall experience and I must say their staff is great! It was late at night so it only cost us $2.50 per game, no joke. A very good combination of Hipster High Rolling and that place your dad would meet your uncle after work. I came here over the weekend for open bowling with some friends. The bar was well stocked. My friend was amazed at the size of her beer. The wait staff was a bit pushy, but I can't fault them for it. You can tell that there had been some major revamping. I booked a staff outing here for a fun night out. We reserved 6 lanes and I paid the required deposit to hold them. When I arrived, I was appalled at the way the woman at the counter spoke to me. She grilled me as to how many people were actually bowling, because she wanted us to give up lanes for other people that may come in. She said that we had to put 5 people on a lane and give up lanes as soon as possible. Her tone was so rude. We were the only people in there, besides 4 other people. I complained to the manager about the way we were treated. I pointed out that we were forced to put 5 to a lane, despite the place being empty. He just kept saying, that's her, that's not us. We tried to go bowling here at around 9pm last night (Saturday). We had never been there before so we walked through the place and decided that yeah it seemed cool and we decided we will stay. First of all, we stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged for at least ten minutes. The other gentlemen who appeared to be working the counter was less than ten feet away and two busy chit chatting with to two female employees to even say hi to us. First rule in good customer service is to smile or say hello to someone - let them know that they SEE you. Well, that didn't happen. He finally came over and I said we'd like to bowl. He pulls out a piece of paper and says there's a waiting list. I kind of laughed because I thought he must be joking because there's at least a dozen lanes throughout the place that are empty. I asked why there was a waiting list when so many lanes were open. He said because it's league night. I said okay, it's league night, but if the leagues aren't using the other dozen plus lanes that are open, I don't understand why we can't bowl, and he said cause I can't it's league night. This guy is an idiot. I literally told him so wait, I'm trying to give you my money, there are open available lanes and you're telling me there's a waiting list? When we left, we were talking about what just happened and figured out why we had waited so long alone at the counter - it was because this idiot guy already had in his head "I'm just going to tell these people there's a waiting list so I don't need to show any sense of urgency or any level of professionalism or customer service" before he walked over. Whoever owns this place should be advised at the level of stupidity of their employees. Not only did we plan to bowl, but we were hungry and thirsty - and we don't drink $2 domestics, we drink top shelf liquors and doubles, so we often have a hefty bill. So this old, rude, man not only took money from the owner of the establishment but also, we tip very well and whomever would have been our server would have made a lot of money. If the old guy is the owner of the establishment, well then good luck because with such superb customer services skills and logic, you'll be closing soon. Everyone had an amazing time and the staff was so helpful making sure everything went as planned (especially Debbie I believe her name was) but anyway I would recommend anyone considering doing a birthday party here to do so it was a great unrushed time. I called wanting to book a birthday party for my son and daughter. Beverly answered the phone and put me on hold, I finally hung up after 10 minutes of hearing her in the background complain about customers. When I called back and asked to speak to manager, Beverly got back on the phone claiming to be the manager. When I said she had kept me on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up she instantly got an attitude and claimed it wasn't her. She tried to blame it on another employee, but Beverly is an easy name to remember. When I said she must not want the business of a birthday party, she hung up on me. What kind of manager hangs up on a customer?! She is extremely rude, and has absolutely no customer service ability. I will never give this place my money, not when they employee disrespectful, rude employees such as Beverly. Horrible service. Tried to go with 15 kids on a half day of school. Kitchen wasn't open at all. fryers off.. Pizza oven off. ONE person working. Bounce room had lights off and was not set up. Was given a MAJOR attitude and an excuse that "She's the only one working.. I can make hot dogs in a microwave. What do you expect?" Rather than an apoplectic answer... Management should be aware of half days! They lost sales for bounce house, food and booze!!! Sales!!! It is 1:00 in the afternoon on a Friday on a district wide half day, not 10am on a Monday... There is 3 elementary schools within MILES of you. You would have a gold mine if you marketed it right and gave good service to parents. You want the support of mom and dads and the community, you should be prepared This is not the first time this has happened. I will not be back. Neither will our "Village". Every staff member here is rude. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left all I got was attitude from employees. They are not friendly and do not try to help you out at all. Multiple games took my money and they would not give it back. My younger sibling asked me to race her on a jump one time and an employee came in to yell at me for being on the bounce house. Im not going to pay for myself to bounce if i'm only going to go on them once or twice when my siblings ask. Thought they would be lenient, but no. Lanes are old. I do not prefer to bowl here, but I thought the kids section would be a good and cheap thing for my younger siblings to do because they never get out of the house. Came here yesterday for my daughters 6th birthday. We had 12 kids and more adults than I can count. We choose and hour of bouncing and an hour of bowling with pizza and cake in between. We had Deb (hopefully that's her name, short blonde hair) assigned to our party and I can't give enough stars on how smoothly she ran everything. She was so pleasant and made sure everything was transitioning how it should be. I didn't have to worry about a thing because she had everything in order. Waterford lanes is an amazing place. First we (a party of 2 couples) ordered dinner. The burgers were hand made and tasted stupendous. I must also recommend the Potato skins! Nice thick and tasty. The bar is well appointed along with several dart boards and pool tables. We then got a lane foe $15 for 2 hours! What a deal. The lanes were in great shape. My ball has never reacted so well. Just the rite amount of oil with a good break before the pins. They say they are new "composite" Lanes...not sure what that means but I bowled a couple of great games there. The staff was wonderful and cheerful. I would deffinatly suggest this place for anyone that wants to have a fun night out. read more

The actual bowling alley is very nice. However, the staff was awful. In particular there was one woman who either hates her job or hates people, or maybe both. For a Saturday afternoon where not even half the lanes were in use, the staff was acting like it was a packed house without enough help. Maybe they were short handed. In that case, a simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead of being told, after waiting 30 minutes for food, "I haven't had a chance to get to it". My team and I went to practice there tonight as our normal house was closed. After throwing one frame, 3 of our balls were stuck in the ball return. Once they came back, all 3 were covered in a sticky residue (assuming from the return belt melting as they were stuck), one of the balls was missing its removable thumb hole, and one ball was gouged in 3 places and scuffed like crazy. We left our balls with their pro shop (which is closed until Friday). I will be updating this on how the repairs of our balls are handled, and if they are handled in time for our league next Wednesday. read more
