Talk about mom and pop spot. This is a very cute local place where you can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had a late breakfast here one day and were so satisfied that we came back for lunch the following day. They seemed to get busy on the weekends, but we were lucky. I wanna say they have a bar located in the back, with TVs, and it's kinda private. So it's away from any families. The ambiance is casual fun. The food was super good! Ordered strawberry crepes and hubby got the triple decker. Let me tell you, the crepes are HUGE! Delicious but a lot of food. The triple decker was on the money...turkey, ham, bacon! Our Place was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a try for breakfast. Glad we did! The restaurant is very clean and inviting and the staff is very welcoming. I had the Eggs Benedict, one of my favorites. It was absolutely delicious and a far cry above some places that serve it. Hubby had the traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and toast. He was very happy with his order. The plates are a generous portion and worth what you pay for. Our server, Alesia, was FaNtAsTiC! She was very cheerful and polite and knows how to do her job! She even read back the order to make sure it was correct. After brining us our food, she waited a minute or two to make sure everything was in order. Alesia, came back several times offering drink refills, checking to see that all was good and if we needed anything else. All in all it was a great experience, and we WILL be going back to OUR PLACE for dinner in the near future. We also made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner! ADDITION: I liked Our Place so much, I decided to take my son there for breakfast. I again had the Eggs Benedict, (love it) and my son ordered a ham and cheese omelet. It was huge, nice and fluffy, loaded with diced ham and generous amounts of cheese! It was so big, he let me taste a little bit of it. I can honestly say it was extremely good! Better than some I have had at different places in the area. The eggs weren't over cooked and dry nor were they runny and unappetizing, it was cooked to perfection! The portion size of hashbrowns was enough to feed two people and they weren't greasy and overcooked. We had an amazing server as well, Aulona! She was on top of service, making sure everything was made to order and tasted delicious and refilling our drinks. She was also very cheerful and polite and willing to answer any questions we may have had. All in all, it was a great experience and as I said previously, we will be going back! My daughter decided to take a freshly made piece of cake home and I'm glad she did because she gave me a bite and it was absolutely amazing. The food Our Place serves is abundant. You will not go home hungry. This restaurant is under new management. The ham and cheese omelette looked like it was made with 4 eggs, the ham was chopped And cheese. They place 2 sliced pieces of cheese on top of the omelette. I don't care too much for that but it was yummy overall. The appetizers were crispy and fresh except for the cheese sticks (I don't think the sticks were homemade). The risotto balls were awesome and creamy, they ran out of wings,but the tenders were better in my opinion and the onion rings were crispy and hand battered! The marinara sauce was to die for, I would drink that stuff. The angus chopped steak was delicious with a brown mushroom gravy, the mushrooms were good size slices. Came here for breakfast and left very disappointed. Turn and burn... Eggs Benedict was so under done that the whites of the eggs ran all over the plate and sauce was lumpy. Egg platter came out with under done hash browns and had to wait for "toast" that was not toasted. I use to come to this location all the time, I always get the same thing 1/2order biscuits and gravy, with eggs and sausage. The last two times I've come I had sub par service and the food was the same, sub par. I use to love coming here and came almost once a week. I thought I'd give it one more shot and Today I got 2 biscuits in a bowl filled with sausage gravy I couldn't even find them, and my eggs the whole top of the whites were uncooked so I had to scrape that off and scoop a half of a cup of gravy off the biscuits so I could at least try to enjoy my meal. Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! We ordrered take out breakfast. Visitors here from Northeast Florida we were treating our sons to breakfast. My Husband and Sons each had the breakfast bagel sandwich loaded with eggs cheese and bacon. The home fries that came with it were absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on rye with egg cheese and bacon the side order of tomatoes instead of the home fries made it extra special for me. Since I HAD to have something sweet, I ordered us some chocolate chip pancakes. Light fluffy delicious and covered with chocolate chips. Strong armed and deceitful is the word. I am outraged at the practice of charging for my wife and I's dinner July 25 on her birthday more than menu price. There was a 4% upcharge because I paid for with a credit card. A sign was posted on the door mentioning that a 4% DISCOUNT was available for paying cash, nothing about being charged 4% MORE than posted menu prices. We stopped at Big Lots and the ladies recommended this place only being 100 yards away. I ordered the Cheeseburger thst came with fries. It was absolutely delicious. The bread was very fresh and the meat very flavorful. The fries were light. Crunchy and seasoned. They were really good. My husband and I ventured over to the Missouri Ave location on a whim motivated by a coupon from ValPak. We were seated quickly and got excellent service with great food. On our way home, I opened the text from the restaurant that contained my receipt and saw that the coupon had not been deducted. I called the restaurant and they connected me to the server who apologized profusely saying he still had the coupon in his pocket. I was asked to call back after 11 am because a manager was the only person who could resolve the issue. I waited until 1:30 so as not to add busyness to the lunch rush. I explained why I was calling, and the person quickly replied that she was aware of the situation and that coupons are not valid on holidays. She explained that is stated right on the coupon and the server was just too busy to note that. Hmmm. The server was SO helpful that he even looked at both of the coupons I had brought with me noting in the fine print that one was expired. He then tore off the coupon we were going to use and gave me back the other half of the ad. That seems like paying close attention and not being too busy. In a nutshell, I would advise anyone who plans to use a coupon to be sure it is taken off the bill and call ahead to find out what they consider a "holiday." I've never known Good Friday to be a holiday. I sure hope the servers were getting holiday pay. read more

We had seen an advertisement for Our Place and decided to take the 35 minute drive one Saturday to check them out. We are so glad that we did. One of us had breakfast and the other lunch. The freshness of all of the ingredients was top notch, and the flavors were out of this world. Did I mention the portion sizes were abundant and you will not leave still hungry that is for sure. I just finished to eat at ( Our Place ) in Clearwater , I ordered a steak medium temperature , eggs over medium and hash browns ,the steak was well done and hard , the hash browns tested like burned old fried oil , but the worst was the server that attended me , Mia, while I was in the middle of my meal, at one point she decided to stand next to me with a white machine in her hands , I felt uncomfortable immediately, and I asked her after 30 seconds ( are you ok ? ) she said no words and she moved just 2 steps away, she printed the bill and placed in front of my plate ,at that point I pulled out my card and paid , the bill was 20.28$ and I left her 5.00$ , I truly felt uncomfortable to be there at the point for the way that she performed as a server, I work in the same industry too, I am a breakfast server 4 times a week and a bartender 5 nights a week , I never saw something like that . Just ordered lunch from there. The roast beef melt with Aujus sauce was absent the sand which was soggy there was so much fat in the meat I couldn't even eat with the nasty bread. My friends and I started going to "Our Place Restaurant" right when they took over the place from the previous owner "Georgia Boy Restaurant" and changed the name. We go for breakfast every Sunday. The place was gradually gaining more customers as people found out about it. The first few months everything was great the egg omelet I ordered was hot and tasty but gradually as the weeks went by the omelet had no taste and was loaded with grease. A few weeks ago as an included side dish with the omelet I ordered the fruit cup instead of the breakfast potato's, you could smell the fermented melon, I summoned the waitress and told her she apologized and brought me the breakfast potato's instead. This past weekend the omelet had the same fermented rotten smell it was coming from the tomato's folded inside the eggwhite omelet my friend could smell it from her seat directly across from me and it tasted gross. Again I complained to the waitress she apologized and returned with the manager. After telling him about the rotten tomato's his response was "I saw the tomato's in the kitchen and they're good it might have been the grille" I said "really?" that's not any better a dirty grille? He offered to cook another omelet so I agreed. When it came it was just as greasy as the first one I unfolded it and inside were some chopped onions and mushrooms nothing else no spinach, no peppers, no broccoli no cheese which explains why this GARDEN OMELET has no taste for the past 3 months. In conclusion we're no longer going to this restaurant and by the look of the dwindling Sunday morning customers it's evident others aren't going back either. read more
