we originally went here soon after they opened and had an absolutely ridiculously bad time and left a review for them. To be fair, we were told by the manager to call, give them another chance to make it right etc. However, we didn't call and only gave them a second chance this morning with friends. The reason I didn't call to "make it right" was I want the experience I have at a restaurant to be organic, and not get special or specialized treatment because we made a complaint. Now, on to our adventure today. We (a party of 4) arrived around 1020ish and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty full, which was expected as it was a Sunday morning. The lady who seated us (not our waitress...tall with long dark hair) was very friendly, chatty, and funny. We appreciated her service. Our waitress was quite inattentive. We each got a cup of coffee, along with waters, iced tea, etc. Once we got our drinks and the orders were placed, we didn't see the waitress again until after the food was delivered (i.e., a very, very long time). The tall dark-haired lady finally came around and refilled our coffee/tea/water after they had all sat empty for 10+ minutes. The wait for the food was so, so, so long. We waited close to 45+ minutes for our food (nothing special, nothing fancy, straight up off the menu, no changes or alterations). This has not improved since the last time we were there and it is just baffling to me that it takes so long to get food out. The biscuits and gravy were enjoyed enjoyed, however 2 of the 4 biscuits were so hard she could not cut them with the fork, and with very very great difficulty with the knife. The tops of the biscuits were soft and pillowy but the bottom were pucks. This time the eggs seemed to have been cooked properly My husband was not happy with the omelette he got, and they took that off the bill without us asking. She did mention that she could have another order put in for him but (and these are her words), "It would take about 15 hours for you to get your new plate of food." We declined a new order and thanked her for taking it off the check. I got a sandwich and it was fine, nothing special but also not awful. Our other friend got a full breakfast platter which he enjoyed. He said the pancakes were very fluffy. So, in this updated review, I have increased the stars for the food because it wasn't *as* awful as last time, but still problematic. The worst thing, which was an issue with our first visit, is the wait time for food. It is just too. dang. long. I look at a place like Lennys, where we would have been in, seated and eating by the time we got our first coffee refill (also much too long in a breakfast place.....just....have coffee ready??). We did note when we walked in there were only 3 servers for the dining room --- perhaps they were short staffed which is why we only saw our server 4 times --- once for drinks, once to take food orders, and once to check on food, and once to drop the check. It was the lady who seated us who had a great rapport with the table, who was cheerful and friendly who can take credit for the two stars in ambience. In the end, we gave them another shot. No one at the table was impressed. The kitchen is woefully slow. The service was inattentive. we will not be coming back. read more

Went here for breakfast on a Thursday morning. Not crowded at all, quick attentive, pleasant service. Plenty of menu options. Clean place. Had the 'Classic' which is two eggs, toast, bacon or sausage, and home fries. Was just what I was looking for and I'll be happy to visit again, next time I'm in Tampa. read more

Came to this place for our E date. Super cute spot but could use a little color on the walls, more specifically the wall with the egg pics as it's a lot of white. And the entrance area is very tight especially during rush time. Otherwise clean appealing. Staff is very friendly and food was great. I had the Southern Bowl and a side of bacon. Of course too much food for me. My only issue is the salt Shaker as it was work to get salt out for my eggs and grits. Bacon was very good! Not cheap and thin. Hubs had the Farmhouse Omelet with potatoes and an English Muffin. All very good other than the muffin not pre buttered or served with butter. The Mimosas are good but the peach did require mixing quit a bit as it sank to the bottom. We would definitely go again. read more

Definitely great if that's your preference of Joe! The pancakes were definitely a highlight and tasted really good. However, the eggs seemed like the type that came from a box which was disappointing. I ordered the Classic and the Three Deuces along with two coffees which came out to about $40. Went here for our Sunday Brunch with family. Easy to find, lots of parking. Were seated right away and brought menus. We were brought drinks while we browsed the menu. My granddaughter opted for the Chicken and Waffles, my youngest daughter ordered the Cheese Omelet with potatoes, my wife had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Eggs and Bacon, and I picked the Texican Bowl with eggs, cheese, sausage, chorizo and jalapenos. I really needed to try something besides my usual gravy & biscuits and this looked good. We chatted for a bit and our meals came piping hot. Granddaughter loved hers, it came with large chicken tenders and fluffy waffles. Daughter also really enjoyed her omelet and potatoes (no adventurer there). My wife's pancakes looked so amazing, I had to grab a bite, like everyone else, before they disappeared! My Texican Bowl was excellent, tender, flavorful and spicy - but I did add some hot sauce. REPURPOSED OLD FOOD PUT ONTO OUR PLATES We arrived and were told the kitchen was behind. Fair, it's a Sunday. We then proceeded to wait 10 mins before being offered drinks. Then when we went to order our food and the kids took a little bit to say what they wanted, the waitress replied "I'm in the weeds here I'm going to have to move on" They have no organization what so ever in regards to delivering the food from the kitchen or the order in which each tables food should be cooked. The chaos that ensued was surreal. We started joking how one of the plates to the left had been there a while so as we watched as 12 mins elapsed. Then we watched them scrape bacon and sausage off of that plate onto another. Low and behold they served us that plate. The sausage was cold as was the bacon. I immediately went to the manager and explained the disgust of what I was served and witnessed and we promptly left. The waitress also handed my daughter's friend a hot plate to which she immediately pulled her hand back and said ouch. The waitress then argued with her about its temperature. I was in awe at the entire debacle. This place lacked any management, organization, or respect for its patrons. First and only time we will "eat" there. I WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS CHAOTIC ENVIRONMENT AGAIN. IF THEY SWAPPED OLD FOOD OFF OF MY PLATE IMAGINE YOURS. If you're the owner watch your security taper from 12:30-12:45pm you have A LOT of training to do. In reply to the owner's reply: staffing issues are not an excuse for providing ignorant and rude service from your wait staff. Also as stated I gave you a timestamp and you have cameras. Go watch them. You'll clearly see the short haired blonde lady in glasses scrape bacon and sausage off of a plate that was up there for 12 minutes at the far left of your food bar. She then 30 seconds later handed it to the waitress who proceeded to serve it to the table (us), we then walked out a minute after arguing about it and talking to your on site "manager". I have 20/20 vision and will wager any amount of money you want that you couldn't produce footage to disprove my account. However we can now all see that the ignorance and disrespect exuded by your employees comes from the top since you have just made excuses here and not owned up to a poor experience. Failing to offer the implementation of measures to correct it for future patrons. Shame on you! read more

First time there and they've only been open two weeks Excellent, the venue is open, very clean, looking and bright decor Perfect place for breakfast. The manager and our server, Amy was amazing. She said she was still learning the computer system, but for the most part, everything went very smoothly for being open only two weeks. I had the breakfast burrito Very tasty and filling. Had plenty of Carne Asada and egg to fill anyone's belly Hash, brown, and grits were also excellent as sides. This was our first visit to this location. We have been to the one in Riverview and liked it, but it is too far. This location is nice and located not too far from us in Clearwater. The service was great, and our server Angelo was so nice and attentive. The food was good, however, I wish my pancakes would have been a little warmer. They weren't cold, but when served with syrup that has been sitting on the table, they weren't hot enough for me. I also would have liked to have fresh syrup no get the idea of having it at the table and not have to worry about asking for it, but it's now room temperature and don't go well with my lukewarm pancakes. I also ordered a side of bacon, and thinking it would have been 4 pieces but it was only 2. I do think a side of bacon should be 4 slices since everywhere else you go for breakfast it's 4. I ordered a side of sausage and it came with 4 links so not sure why the bacon doesn't. My husband ordered the Southern Bowl and he loved it. He said it was delicious but next time will get the potatoes on the side. It was a large serving and the potatoes and grits took it over the top. I do wish they offered a flavor creamer for coffee because it needed it. I am a true coffee lover and theirs could be a little better; it took me too many to get the bitter coffee taste out. Stopped by here last Sunday 12/01/2024.. When first walking in we were immediately greeted by the hostess. The menu is very large and had something for everyone (including my picky toddler). The restaurant itself was extremely clean from the floors to the dishes/silverware which is how I initially always judge a restaurant. We both got the corned beef hash and it was seasoned to perfection. We look forward to coming back.
