I had zero choice but to try a restaurant with the name BACON in it :) Located at Countryside Mall, this place has entrance from inside or outside the mall. Amazin because if it's a meal only day then there is a parking lot right there in front which you can head basically straight in. Even has an outdoor patio! Our first visit there we opted to stick to their all day breakfast menu, even though it was lunch hour. So glad we did. First off we were sat rather quickly and checked in regularly by our waitress. Our food came out in decent time, since it was a lunch rush in a Saturday we get that it wouldn't come out so fast. My hubby and I were delighted with our orders. I had the bacon stuffed pancakes and hunny has the bacon and sausage tower pancakes. My stuffed pancake may not have really been "stuffed" but it was sure delicious and had plenty of real basin bits throughout. I will definitely order that again any day! My husband's bacons and sausage tower wasn't too high (see my pics) but was very filling! And tasty too. We had leftovers for sure. This place has a bar area, TVs and is good for breakfast lunch or dinner. Anytime of the day! Love that. So to answer the magic question, yes, we had a great experience with the food and ambiance and are curious now about their burgers. Can't wait to return!

In the last two weeks, we've eaten here twice once for brunch and once for an early dinner. The food is actually very good. I love their little bacon, maple cream puffs. I think the first time I had the lumberjack special the second time I had their breakfast burger, which is a bacon bomb waiting to happen. And we had a small stack of the chicken waffle which the presentation is very cool. For mall restaurant the prices are definitely reasonably affordable for the amount of food you get. The service is pretty good as well. I would recommend it if you're in the area. They do serve breakfast all day.

Initially I thought this was a chain restaurant because it was attached to the mall. This is the only location in Clearwater. We had to try it with the name bacon in the title. It was a decent sized restaurant. The setting was comfortable. They have bathrooms in the back corner instead of having to go through the mall to find one. The servers wore shirts with catchy phrases on them. The waitresses were very friendly. The one lady that helped us was new, and the other waitress who was helping her was great. Her shirt said "Don't go bacon my heart " others had different slogans. They have a great selection for gluten free options. We enjoyed the food here. Looking forward to the next time we come here. I will try something different.

We visited Bacon Street Diner at Countryside Mall with a party of six on a busy Saturday afternoon and were seated in about 15 minutes, which was impressive considering how busy it was. The service was friendly and the timing between plates was consistent, even with a full dining room. What we ordered: The special of the day was an open-faced turkey sandwich served with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, carrots and green beans. It was a true comfort food plate. The turkey was tender, the gravy rich and everything tasted homemade. It felt like Thanksgiving dinner in the best way. The 3-egg omelette with spinach, sausage and feta was fresh and flavorful and cooked well. The only thing to note is that add-ons are $1.50 each, so the price can add up quickly depending on what you choose. The fish and chips with dill sauce were crispy and well seasoned. The portion was generous and the dill sauce paired perfectly. The corned beef and hash skillet was hearty, savory and full of flavor. A great choice if you love diner style breakfast dishes. We also ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries, which was simple, satisfying and cooked the way we asked. The kids chicken strips and fries were crispy and fresh, and a definite hit. Before leaving, we walked by the dessert case and it absolutely stopped us in our tracks. Pies, cream puffs and house-made desserts that looked incredible. We were way too full to try one this time, but they will definitely be the reason we return. Overall, great food, generous portions, friendly service and a dessert case that demands a second visit. We'll definitely be back, especially to finally try a slice of pie or a cream puff.

Came here for a late brunch today around 1:30pm, party of 4. Was about a 15 min wait. I got the mini breakfast with French toast - for less than $12 you can get 2 eggs, a sausage, a bacon, and a French toast - really a steal in my book! Also got an apple juice. Pros: - they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around the mall area while waiting - easy parking lot in the mall - pretty quick service, our waiter Michael was friendly and competent - you can buy pie too! We got 2 pies for about $19 - they look small but are actually filling Cons: - the round booth was a little uncomfortable, but not a dealbreaker. Pretty solid breakfast - the mini breakfast was the perfect size for me when I wasn't starving. Their potatoes were also very well seasoned but not too salty!

Never had a bad meal here! So many items are clearly made fresh, in-house. They can get busy so I recommend checking in online before you go. When they are packed it can be a bit noisy. I only mention that so you don't expect intimate conversation. One of my all time favorite breakfast spots. I want to with my way through the entire menu.

What a DELICIOUS spot for BRUNCH!! Located In the outskirts of the Country Side Mall, this is a must-to if you're in the area. Checked in online, and we were seated right away, and started with $2 dollar flavored mimosas. It's very modern, clean, and well lit inside. Customer service is great and you can tell that the employees, enjoy their jobs. I had the 1/2 Bacon Chicken Waffle Tower w/Maple Bacon Cream Puff on the top! Sooooo good, and great combo of flavors of savory/sweet and honestly the best bacon I have ever had at a place. The Maple Bacon is caramelize, which gives it a great texture and flavor! My wife had the Apple Cinnamon French Toast! It has, powdered sugar, warm cinnamon apples and bacon bits sprinkled on top of the whip cream, I had a bite and was blown away! Service is quick, and the location is great, if you just want to look around the mall after. What an amazing brunch! Like my boy Arnold said.."I'll be back"

Great food as always. Portions will definitely not leave you hungry. Service was also good. This is why we keep coming back. Consistency.

Do they have southern country ham and grits?

I don't think so, but you should check their menu or call.

Is the brunch all you can eat? does it have a good selection to choose from?

Hannah was our server, and she is the reason I write this email today. From the start, Hannah seemed very rude. She said that we couldn't add anymore chairs because we couldn't block the adjacent booth, but we were allowed to use the booth for our "overflow". I don't see the difference, but whatever. My son and I were at the overflow and she nearly completely forgot to get his order, as his was the last to be taken per her request. I had to nearly yell at her to make sure he was able to order. We had to keep going to the bar and getting our own refills, and we had to get our own to-go boxes as she seemed to just disappear after giving us the bill. Many orders were wrong or super late. My aunt got chicken strips and fries but they didn't come out and the same time and she eventually had to go to the bar and get her own fries. When I ordered for my son, I was pointing at the menu, the kids part, and said I wanted the KIDS chicken and FF for my son, but then I suppose I messed her up when trying to ask if we could get the KIDS mac and cheese instead of FF. She then went on to describe what I believe was the alfredo pasta. I didn't say anything to her mix-up, just went ahead with the kids' chicken and ff. I state it like that because she did not bring a kid's plate but rather an adult plate. I got the special (delicious btw) salmon, potato, green beans and salad. I ordered a baked potato with sour cream; I got mashed with gravy. I again, didn't say anything as she already seemed overwhelmed, plus I was not about to wait for just a potato and hold up our entire group. I had to ask a second waitress for my included desert, which I did receive. My sister had ordered a chicken sandwich (cold) and I'm not sure what she was brought but it wasn't the right dish. My niece waited the longest for her food, not getting until the rest of our group was nearly done. Our family absolutely loves Papa's. We come there all the time, even with our big group and we have never had these types of problems before. Your other staff are super friendly and helpful. I just thought that you should be aware of how our mother's day dinner went.

Breakfast was exactly what you hope for at a casual beachside café. We had coffee, an egg sandwich with bacon, and a Western omelet with cheese. The service was great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel comfortable right away. Another thing that stood out was the pricing. For a beach location, the prices are very fair, which makes it an even better value considering the quality of the food and the location. The first night we came, it was so packed that we sat at the bar and it was crazy because the bar tender remembered me from years ago and was like " I will always remember you because of your height and hair and butterfly tattoos" lol. We ordered baked oysters, cold peel n eat shrimp with old bay seasoning for starters and my little one loves shrimp. For dinner I ordered the shrimp scampi and a cheese pizza for my princess who ate 5 pieces . She said it was delicious. The scampi was hands down the best I've had outside of Italy which I just recently visited. Ambiance is so chill and there is tons of seating inside and outside. Avoid the frozen lemonade--it contains an excessive amount of sugar and is far from worth the cost. Just came for the drink on my Passport but my bartender was super sweet and friendly offering lots of advice and insights. I had the Banana Hammock and, of course, the Rum Runner, which was outstanding, but this Dockside Lemonade was cool and refreshing and welcomed. A little sweet as a heads up, but really a nice summer drink! At the end of the day, this was a great way to finish my challenge and had a pleasant experience!
