Classic Cheeseburger with fries
Silofa O.

Important Reminder: Breakfast is not served all day on Sundays. They stop serving breakfast at 10 or 1030 (can't remember) We came for their breakfast however were told that they stop serving breakfast items on Sundays at a certain time. We decided to stay and try out other things on their menu. I had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions corn nuggets, green beans and garlic bread. The garlic bread I don't recommend as the garlic was burnt and you know how that can taste. The rest of my food was cooked perfectly and seasoned with what I like to call "seasoned to perfection". My daughter had the shrimp platter with fries which she cleaned her plate. The shrimps were huge compared to fried shrimps around this area, they were also fresh and flavorful. My Husband had the classic cheese burger which was good but he didn't rave about it the way I raved about my food . Thank you to the Manager on duty Jackie she was so kind and helpful to us while our visit here. We will be back for breakfast as a family as I am dying to try their French toast and perhaps other things on their menu.

Award-winning burgers cannot be denied! We had great service and juicy burgers with hand cut fries here. The service is friendly, and the decor is nostalgic. A very clean restaurant, and we are so glad we happened upon it during our travels.

Great service and delicious food!! The milkshakes are amazing and I was very happy with my chicken tenders. The portion sizes are massive though, definitely enough to share or take home leftovers! The place was pretty busy for dinner on a Tuesday evening, but everything came out quickly. Definitely seems to be a local favorite!

Food was great! Jalapeño poppers were definitely on point. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in a hurry.

Food came out we had ordered the Chickichanga & The Works Omelet. Both dishes were amazing and tasty. Next time would ask for some salsa but great dishes. The only issue was once the food was served we never saw our waitress except across the room, didn't check to make sure everything okay or needed anything and finally when we were done 10 minutes flagged someone down to get our check that was very disappointing. Review is mainly for the food not the service or would be lower.

The service is always good, and staff have always been friendly and caring. All the locations we visited were fairly new and nice and clean. Sometimes it can get loud in certain locations, but that was never a real issue. Today, I had the seasonal special of the "Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash". WOW! It was impressive. Everything was perfectly seasoned, well-cooked, and plated beautifully. I also had the "French Toast". It was sweet but enjoyable. We had an incredibly positive visit, and we will visit there again.

We were traveling when we came across this little jewel. I stopped there for tea, only to see a…read moreneat little tea room where people were dining. There were many different types of tea and I chose one to take on our trip, but we were also blessed with some chicken salad sandwiches on a croissant and two different desserts. I rarely like anyone's chicken salad, I favor my family's recipe, but I will say, I really like this one and would give it a five 5. Additionally, we had some little petite shortbread cookies and lemon bars, and my husband LOVED 'd the lemon bars. I really liked them too, but he loved them! The cookies were so cute and if I lived in this area, I would probably go to this particular restaurant often. I met the owner and she was SO nice and really went out of her way during our short visit there. The next time we're there, I hope to go in and dine on some delicious homemade food!

Excellent time at Montgomery's only Afternoon Tea room. I am very much a tea enthusiast, having…read moredomestically taken in local tea experiences up and down the West and East Coast, so I just had to try Montgomery's newest addition. The value in the atmosphere, ingenuity, and taste presented by The Tea Garden was simply delightful. We loved being able to browse their array of English teacups and saucers, selecting whichever we pleased to accompany our meal. Their selection of add-on options was also impressive, presenting more like a traditional Southern-style tea (and providing a welcome dose of nostalgia akin to the days of Montgomery's era of Gracie's English Tea Room). The service was also unbeatable: generally tea rooms have a bit of a wait due to how the meal is presented, but The Tea Garden's pacing was perfection. Iced beverage glasses were refilled in a timely manner and we were checked in on many times to see if we required anything additional, including a fresh pot of tea. For the tea, I was very impressed to see their menu goes past providing just a few select blends, leaning into true tea aficionado favorites. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend any tea lover (or posh-but-savvy lunch-goer) check this gem out before the secret gets out. Aside from a gorgeous lunch destination, this would be an excellent location for engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, or most fitting, a proper Graduation Tea: a Southern tradition.

It's deceptively large and nicely decorated. It's located next to a Dollar General in a small metal frame strip mall. Upon entering there is a large hostess station with seating. The dining area is brightly painted, bold yellow and green, with nice tile floors, lots of wood work and a large seating area. Lunch service is a cafeteria style steam table. Today the mains included: fried chicken, baked chicken, meat loaf and fried chicken livers. I'm told it rotates with fried chicken always being available. I opted for the livers. I went with corn bread over the roll and it was a deep fried ho cake. Sides greens and fried green tomatoes. With beverage $6.99. Table service for beverages. The livers were exceptional. Crisp perfectly fried lightly seasoned. Really well done. The lady behind the steam table added a bit of brown gravy atop the perfectly fried livers, which really went well with the livers. It's the south everything is better with gravy. The greens were likely from frozen. Which is the only real issue I had with the place. I wouldn't order them again. The fried green tomatoes were super thin and fried crisp. The ho cake was good. It was fried crispy like a hush puppy in pancake form. It wasn't sweet. It's was a good old southern ho cake. Excellent $7.00 lunch. Friendly service at the steam table. Nice server provided good service. If in the area this would be a go to spot over fast food. Not a ton of really healthy options today. Lots of carbs, fried, bacon in it or gravy on it kinda meat and 3 spot. If you like this type of cuisine this place won't disappoint.

However, because we were fewer than 12 guests, the owner came over, insulted us, and told us to leave that area, saying it was not intended for small groups. Perhaps what she said was technically correct, but the way she said it completely ruined any desire we had to return to this restaurant. We moved to the area we were instructed to use without arguing or complaining. No one even apologized for the uncomfortable situation they put us through. As we were leaving, we took a quick look at the private room we had been asked to leave, and there was only one group of six people sitting there, eating and chatting. That made us wonder whether we had been moved because of prejudice rather than the restaurant's seating policy.
