The decor could be called "kitschy," but it really feels like I just walked into someone's grandma's house, in the best way. Family photos (probably friends, too) are everywhere. The warmth. As for the food, I'm running out of room. I'll just say that I ordered the mini & couldn't quite finish it (yes the bacon is fantastic, btw). Then I saw a guy getting a burger delivered at 8:30ish, and darned if I didn't wish I'd ordered a burger for breakfast! Hats off to that guy, and that burger! Now. The service. See, when everyone who enters the door is treated like they're already friends and could be family, it's hard to find anything better than that. Four people were circulating in the dining room and every one of them stopped to ask us questions about our day, our food...you know: conversation. These folks are so grand.
