    Two beers.
    Jill H.

We were heading to another brewery when we saw Our Town and we decided to stop. Ehile the two beers in the photo look alike, one of them is a Schwarzbier and the other is a dark mild. I liked the dark mild and its lower alcohol content. It would have been nice if they had a stout. This location has a modern decor even though it is an old building. You go to the bar to place your orders and that works well.

Great brewery with a large open indoor space. My husband and I stopped by something to drink after grabbing lunch. I ordered the In the Shade - Marionberry (Lemonade Sour Ale), which was a very good refreshing drink. I also appreciated how easy it was to order and see the menu (via QR code).

Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak with salad/balsamic upgrade (+$1)

Stopped in a Tuesday evening with friends for their weekly trivia. I ordered a flight of beers and thought they were good. Their Brown Ale on Cask was the best one I tried. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak which was pretty amazing, just the right amount of buffalo sauce without being too hot or spicy. You seat yourself and order at the bar. There were only two ladies working the bar, which caused clearing our table to take a little too long. Very clean inside and an open, high ceiling concept. Not overly noisy. I'd recommend this brewery if you're in the Lancaster City area.

Kudos to the owners of this place for redeveloping an eyesore on this corner. Our group of 4 tried this place shortly after they opened. Jena took great care of our table! Beer was all around pleasant. I sampled the Proper Pils, Where you Came From, Bean Necessities, and Oktoberfest. The pale ale and oktoberfests were particularly good and strong. I thought the others could be more bold. The food is simple, yet creative. We tried the street corn toast, banh mi, and chicken caesar wrap, as well as the waffle sundae for dessert. Definitely some of the better bar food out there, but overpriced for what it is. Nice to have a decent food option if you're out for drinks. 5/5 COVID precautions

Limited menu and no desserts but the soft pretzel was amazing! The atmosphere was pleasant with interesting music played at a medium volume so conversation was easy but you couldn't hear the exact content of the folks next to you. The bartenders and servers were very friendly. Nice selection of brews and even a cranberry ginger beer on tap for mixing with vodka for a unique Mule. The Press On IPA had a strong citrus flavor like a hazy (favorite).

Came here for the first time to grab a beer and was blown away by both the beer and the service! I got the watermelon sour beer and my husband got the obtokerfest, which were both great! The ambience inside the building is unbeatable with upbeat music and sleek color schemes and decor, but since we had our pup along we sat outside which was also enjoyable! The bartender even brought us a dog bowl for water, which was very thoughtful. All around, a fantastic brewery that we are grateful to have near us in Lancaster and we can't wait to come back and try the food.

Overall, a very nice experience. You seat yourself and order at the bar, but service is still great! We started off with the queso and chips. The appetizers are very small for the price, so I'd skip on that next time. We also had the steakhouse smash burger and the blue cheese and onion jam smash burgers. They both were great, and complemented our beers nicely! We will definitely be back to try out more of their brews and ciders.

Enjoying the City Sunrise IPA I wish I could perma-stock in my fridge

My partner now and I popped into Our Town on a day trip to Lancaster City and WOW! As craft beer fans and passionate foodies, we found much to love about this bustling brewery: Ambiance: Ultra stylish but not at all stuffy, Our Town transformed a vintage car dealership into a beautifully designed space dotted with tables that sit against a backdrop of their brew area, which is as meticulously put together as the rest of the dining room. Look up to see original, ornate ceiling tiles and check out the history of the building in pictures on your way to the restroom. Brews: 10/10! The City Sunrise is packed with flavor and the kind of haze that perfectly complements a summer day. Another beer that delighted with its creatively-fused ingredients included the Rooftop Garden Blackberry Basil IPA. In short: enjoy sipping your beer here, but plan to take more home! Food: We're not the type to hold a brew-focused business to the same standard as a restaurant but DAMN! The food was OUTSTANDING. My partner wants to plan another 1.5 hour trip back just to pair his IPA with that Turkey Avocado Wrap and my Smash Burger was the perfect amount of all-things delicious. Around town: Being a ways away, the trip from Doylestown was well worth it! Not only did we enjoy our time at Our Town, but we also loved shopping at Space for vintage and mid century wares and A Day in the Life Records for new records to add to our collection, along with perusing the many cool indie shops posted around town.

I see that Seven Gates Pale Ale made the year-round menu, very cool. I'm NA these days so I passed (sigh) but very glad to see this flagship beer in its rightful place. Excellent flavor and two patties were very fulfilling. Well done. I'll add, get the sweet potato tots, amazing! I had chips as a side and they were also hard to beat. I wish I had his name but the guy who took care of us the entire time was fantastic! He greeted us promptly, explained the process of ordering at the window and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I started with a 10 oz of their hazy IPA. I then had the pickle cheese curds which came with a dill ranch and the boneless old bay wings. My pup got the burger patty off the doggie menu and by the pictures you can tell he enjoyed it =) All of the food and beer was delicious. The process for ordering through the window is super easy. In an effort to keep the dogs safe, all of the plates, utensils and cups are plastic or another safe material when dining on the doggie deck. Overall, Reaper and I had a great experience. The bartender will remember Reaper so please let him know we said thank you for the great service last week!!

Thankfully Mad Chef was open later than most places so we got in before the kitchen closed. I enjoyed the low lighting with the brewery equipment shining in the background. Having the Phillies game on the tv's only added to our experience. Our drinks and food were excellent. I always like to enjoy a local craft beer, having it paired on site with fabulous eats is even better. I ordered Mr Dynamite Brown, their American brown ale which was fabulous. We ordered a small Pommes Frites (French fries) that were cooked in Canola oil. While light in color, these fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, salted just right. My wife ordered the pretzel and said it was her type, buttery, salty, and doughy. I ordered the Korean Pork Nachos, by far the best nachos I've ever had the pleasure to devour. I can't begin to describe how well the roasted corn poblano medley brought this plate together. Every bite had an explosion of flavor with the Korean glaze and Gochujang aioli. This dish blows Guy Fieri's trash can Brisket nachos out of the water. If ever in Lancaster don't pass up on the Mad Chef Craft Brewing gem.
