Tickets aren't crazy expensive. It was just over $16 for my adult ticket. It gave me access to the museum, which is really the second floor. In one small space is a museum about Turkey Hill's history, how ice cream is made, etc. It's very interactive with an area to make your own ice cream flavor, commercial, and more. The ice cream sampling area is great. They give you healthy scoops. There's also an area to try their iced tea and lemonade and learn how it's made. The bottom level is a giant gift shop with toys, clothes, and more. There's a large parking lot out front.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

I was in Lancaster PA for Labor Day weekend and looking for something to do when I came across…read morehelicopter rides at DCH. it was Saturday, but we're lucky enough to book a 30 minute ride around noon. We went up with pilot Adam. He was great, and made mine and my friends first helicopter ride an awesome experience. he explained everything to us, showed us around the helicopter, and made sure we understood his instruction. once in the air he pointed out the various sights in and around Lancaster PA. the ride was so smooth! at some points I forgot I was in a helicopter!! afterwards he showed us around the hangar and the old Vietnam war plane the pilots are restoring. all in all it was a great experience and I cannot wait for my next helicopter ride. Lancaster Central market tour-best way to spend an early Saturday Leap Day morning and experience…read morethe market at some of its finest stands. 12 stops in all, too much fantastic good in 3 hours. It started a little awkward with the line for your books--despite getting into line 15" into the window. After that, though, everything was smooth and the food samples were delicious. A lot of happy people in the market were participating and money was raised for the market trust..our first Taste the world tour--we'll be back!
