Immediately upon flying to MD from KY to pick it up, the adaptive cruise control didn't work (one of the main features i wanted in the car). I immediately texted the finance guy Bailey Chavis who has been generally very helpful. He said he'd get in touch with the used car manager on Monday (it was currently Sunday). Didn't hear from him for almost a week when the salesman finally got in touch before a couple more days of run around before telling me to both go and then fuck myself. Bought a car from yesterday and I can't enough good things about the place. I walked in (no appointment) and ask Cedrick to see a car I saw on Car Guru. It was the cheapest car they had on the lot and I told him I was paying cash (not financing) so I was the cheapest customer they'd ever see. He still treated me like I was buying a fleet of their most expensive car. Then I Cedrick and Kyle (the financier) showed me the total out the door price. I was floored it was exactly as described on the Car Guru. It was the list price, the mentioned dealer fee, the state tax, and some minor fee that I forgot the name because it was only like $35. That's it though! No hidden this or that! The list price was too good to be true so I expected to fight over BS fees, but there was nothing hidden added. After leaving with the car, driving home my wife tailed me and noticed that I had a brake like bulb that had died. I drove back to the dealership and they replaced the bulb and topped off my gas before I could finish the complementary coffee I was basically chugging before I knew how fast the fix would be. read more

They take pictures to make the cars look better than what they are in person... also if you email follow up questions after purchasing a vehicle, they don't respond. I would be very cautious and wary of dealing with this place. Do your due diligence and don't take their word for anything. We purchased a CPO Audi Q5 4 months back and we've had nothing but problems. Had to take it to the dealership 3 times since, with no resolution. First, they sold us the car with a plugged tire. The car had a flat tire first time we went to check it out. At the time, they brushed it off as just low pressure and filled it in with air. I went in again a week later to finalize and same tire had flat. Again they didn't tell us anything about it, and I had to point it out. They assured me they have 'patched' it very nice and its no issues. (which Im not sure its true as I clearly see a plug on the tire) Unfortunately I also didn't know at the time that the car has run-flat tires, which effectively are one time use tires once they get a flat and are NOT recommended by the tire manufacturer to plug or patch them. They didn't clarify any of it with us. Right since I drove out of the dealership after we signed it (which in itself was another bad experience) I have had bad vibrations, harmonics and general rough ride with the car. I took it 3 days later to the service dept. and they said 3 tires have feathering! So car had bad tires all around! The service department is another thing to deal with. Again here, its like any other dealership service that tries to brush things off or down-right lie about. We also had engine malfunction warnings twice during this time. read more

The car had a variety of quality issues. After several repair attempts Frederick Audi recommended that I reach out to Audi corporate for assistance. When Audi corporate refused my claim (because the car had not 'spent enough time in the shop') Frederick Audi refused any additional work on my car, warranty or maintenance. I tried to sell my car six months ago that I originally bought there. Called texted and emailed for a month. No response. Fast forward six months later I Went in for a recall this week and they wanted to buy it. Gave me a decent offer. Told them I'd be back in touch as they had a newer model I was interested in buying. Few days later they reached out asking if I was ready to sell at. I said yes that I had several offers but preferred to deal with them as it was more convenient. Then they came back with an offer thousands less than the one the day before. Now there is radio silence. They never respond to calls voicemails or texts. Here is the same review that I put on Google for them, and I hope that they can meet these standards for everyone else: I RARELY review anything, However these guys deserve this! To provide some background, we have been in the market for an Audi for one year. We went to the Porsche dealership in Arlington, VA as that one had the Audi Trim and package that we loved. Not only did the dealer there try to low ball our trade in (5-6k less than the value of the car), He didn't seem too interested in selling us the car even though we were willing to give him asking price of the car! Yesterday we saw that Audi of Frederick had the same trim and package we were hoping to buy. We drove 70 miles to go and take a look at the car and see what they would offer us for our trade - in. I called ahead and spoke with Sam and he told us he would be there and they had the car in stock. The car was in great condition, very clean. More than that I was very impressed by Sam's efficiency. He already had the keys for the car pulled out and was ready for us to take a test drive. *EDIT - Sam was also very knowledgeable on the car and was able to answer every question we had on the car! While we were inspecting the car we wanted to buy, Sam was able to get all the information for the trade-in we had. They gave us the cash value of KBB - and I was overjoyed as they did NOT try to low-ball us. We didn't have to fight them on negotiation and after we told them what we were looking for, we came to very agreeable terms. After that we met with the finance specialist - Jordan. His energy was great! Jordan was also super kind and broke everything down for us very clearly. There was nothing hidden and he made the process of finding a great APR rate and buying very seamless. Overall, this was the BEST car buying process for me. I can not thank Sam and Jordan enough for making my new Audi experience SO FANTASTIC. Thank you both so much. I had trouble with my MMI ( Audi's navigation ) and I went in to talk to someone knowledgable help me correct my problem. I consider myself to be very mechanically inclined and normally if I have a problem I research the answer to the Nth degree but I could not find an answer. After speaking with the owner a bit explaining my problem he looked at me and said "Well, did you read the manual ?" I was livid. He never would have said that to me if I was a man standing there taking to him. Why do men treat women like we all have air between our ears ???? With only 6 mo left on my warranty unless I am desperate and he is the last dealership on this planet I will not bring my car here again. For a high dollar car dealership you would think you would get spectacular sales and service. First time ever buying a Audi and the experience was horrific. The best part of the experience was working with the financial guy signing the financial documents as crazy as it sounds. We seen a car we were interested in Which had not been detailed it was just traded in. We told them we wanted the car this was a Friday we were told it would take 2 days to detail it and get it ready to go By Monday. The car was not ready to go until Thursday. When we went to pick up the car the detail job was horrible there was lots of leaves under the hood below the windshield, The door jams were still filthy the dent they said they had a specific guy pulls dents out was going to take care of that it was not done, the dent had a nice Nick was never touched up. We asked to see the paperwork as to what was done in the five days they had it, They claimed the rotors were turned. When you run your finger nail across them there is a ledge they swore up and down the rotors were turned in which they were clearly lying. You would think when a car is being sold they would automatically do an oil change nope Audi will not do an oil change unless it is at the 10,000 mile mark and is due to be changed. While waiting and dealing with a salesman who had no idea what he was doing there was a young lady waiting four hours for a rental car because she had to bring her newly purchased vehicle back that she had taken to a garage and there were six things wrong with it and which should not have passed inspection. They claimed it passed inspection which was a huge lie. We were getting mats and touch up paint in the purchase of a vehicle they were to be ordered I waited two weeks and went back to pick these items up to find out that it was never ordered. Needless to say we will not be returning with our vehicle for any type of service work they are not at all honest with their work they say they perform jobs that are in fact not done and lie about it this dealership is very dishonest when it comes to inspection and work beware they will probably tell you they change the oil and they didn't. When we bought our Audi from Ourisman in Frederick, our sales person, Brian, was knowledgeable, helpful and we were very satisfied with his follow up and assistance. Then came their Service Department, "Service", is probably not in their vocabulary. We were promised Valet service when we purchased. Well you would think we were asking for a huge favor. Car never ready the day they take it in. They are abrupt, unfriendly and curt. All they really want is the number of your credit card to bill you. We used a couple of their advisors and they all must be taught by the same school of bad attitude. We have one more warranty service and then we will definitely find another dealership. We have had a number of Mercedes, Acura's, Lexus and never received this kind of behavior at any of their service centers. read more

When we entered the dealership, no one cared to acknowledge our presence, ask how they could help us or say that they were busy but would be with us shortly. I am so disappointed with the service at this dealership. I LOVE my car but 5 weeks later and I still don't have the proper registration and I am notifications from the MVA! I paid outright for my car. I was getting ready to take it home and they said my VIN was registered to the wrong car. Was very concerning and I have had to battle with them to try to get this fixed. In fact NO ONE called meI had to keep calling them. When I started looking they sent me options and the mileage was way off on some they sent. One said 7 miles then when I called they said sorry 37,000. I don't know what is going on there but next car will be bought in Bethesda. read more

I don't typically write reviews, but felt it necessary to help others after such a horrible experience at this dealership. Bottom line: questionable and unethical business practices with no regard for customer time or needs. I called this dealership to inquire about a certified pre-owned (CPO) car that I found through both Autotrader and USAA. I spoke with Brian and I told Brian that I was driving from over an hour away. I asked about the cosmetic condition of the car before making the drive, and I was told "this is a certified car, so every ding, dent or scratch is taken care of by Audi before it can be sold as a CPO vehicle. It's a very clean car." Upon arriving, I immediately noticed significant damage to the car: major damage on two wheels, golf ball sized dent in the hood with paint damage (poor touch up that looked like nail polish), oxidized exterior trim panels, paint overspray on one window, a frayed seatbelt, deeply scratched glove box- all on a two year old vehicle. It had NOT been fixed, yet I was told it was clean before I made the drive. After asking about the damage, I was told that the issues were simple cosmetic fixes that hadn't been addressed. Note: the car had been listed for a week, so I suspect they were trying to find a buyer who would accept the car "as is." When I tried to work out the "IOU" to ensure all damage would be fixed, I was presented with a Carfax report that indicated previous damage. This report was different from what I was originally shown. After all of this, I was still willing to provide a deposit to hold the car while all work was completed, but after an hour, was told by Brian that his manager would not fix the issues unless we paid for the car first. I left, and the manager called me shortly thereafter and blamed Brian. The manager said that they would follow up the next day to work it out. The next day, there was no follow up and the dealership listed the car for significantly more money. Do not waste your time with this dealership. Find a dealership with more ethical and moral business practices. read more

We brought the car in during the weekend the car wasn't ready for a week. Everytime we called they kept saying they didn't know what was wrong with it. When they finally "fixed" the car. They drove the car for over 100 miles and did not put the gas back in it from what we had paid. The tank was full and it's diesel gas very expensive. They gave us the car back below half a tank. AND we picked up the car yesterday Friday today Saturday the car is smoking. We asked when Audi had the car for a whole week to check for any other issues and they didn't bring this up at all. It has been a horrible experience with Audi Frederick. We've been to many other Audi's and never had as many issues as we had at Frederick. read more

The lack of service from their service department is pathetic! All I needed was a price quote, I personally made a visit to this location on 08/10 and contacted them by phone 4 times, emailed them at their website and still did not get an answer. I actually contacted Audi HQ USA to make a complaint on 09/10. I was told they reached out to the original person I spoke with and he will be calling me, this emailed was dated 09/16. I didn't actually receive a call from him until 09/26, he left a message saying I need a diagnostic test done first and he never even apologized for his lack of communication. It is apparent to me that this location doesn't care how their employees treat customers. If I received a call from my corporate office stating a customer was upset with my service, I would have immediately called the customer to rectify the situation, it took him 10 days after corporate called him for him to reach out to me. So I waited over a month for him to tell me they would have to do a diagnostic test first, he could have just told me this the first day I walked into the service department with me inquiry! What the heck, really!?!? Why have a business if you can't run it properly? The lack of disrespect is disgusting! I will never do business with Ourisman Audi of Frederick, Maryland!!! They're lucky I gave them one star, and it's only because it wouldn't allow me to give zero stars. read more

I bought a used Mazda on the Ourisman Audi (Frederick) lot from our salesperson Anthony. (At first I was put off by too many emails asking/reminding of an appointment I'd just made the day prior for a test drive, but decided to overlook that for the time being.) On arrival and throughout the day, Anthony was very personable and professional. A super nice guy. So after doing some online research, my daughter and I'd come for the test drive, which went so well that we decided to buy, and then on to financing with Ian. Even though I was 'encouraged' to pay for the extras my declines on those were met gracefully. I particularly don't like the 'dog and pony show' games and there was no need for that because I came in knowing what this car was selling for (and KBB) and it was priced correctly from the start, so I didn't feel the need to negotiate further. The showroom, offices and restrooms were well-kept. Our personal comfort while there was seen to with the utmost courtesy. We were treated to lunch due to the timing of finalizing the deal over the lunch hour - much appreciated. Since I already have a Mazda dealer for service closer to home, we won't be using this dealership for service. Overall, the buying experience at Ourisman was so pleasant I'd certainly consider buying from them again. read more

I was completely misled by the sales team at this dealership into getting into a lease that would, "fit my needs as my vehicle needs change." They have ruined my financial situation and given me so much inconsistent information, I can't keep up. After countless calls, an untrained staff in their financial department, a sneaky salesman (surprise), and poor customer service, this has been the worst financial experience of my life. I regret the moment I stepped onto their lot and will never, ever purchase another vehicle from this dealership - Nor will anyone else that I know. While my sale won't cripple their business, I want to share my horrible experience in hopes of saving someone else the heartache and stress that I've been through in last year of dealing with them. Recently I purchased a used Volvo from Audi of Frederick. I was pleasantly surprised with all aspects of the sale. I had the pleasure of working with Ricky Williams. This young man was courteous and very respectful, not to mention, willing to learn. Even though he was the salesman there were intricacies of the vehicle that I was more familiar with than he was. He took the time to review the vehicle with me and explain all of the parts of the deal, from the car itself to the warranty, and to the meeting with the financial guy. Ricky's personality is second to none. His eagerness was not to make the deal but to make sure that I was happy with the deal.
