Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. Avoid Ken's Automotive and Transmission Service at all costs--especially Tyler, the technician. I…read morewas lied to twice about the bellhousing being measured. That procedure requires actually removing the bellhousing, taking off the clutch, and using a dial indicator on the flywheel, along with removing the spark plugs to properly rotate the engine. None of that was done. Instead, they simply shoved the transmission back in and still charged me $613. That's not just poor workmanship--it's outright dishonest. I'm beyond disappointed and honestly shocked that a business operating like this is still open. If you value your money and your vehicle, stay far away from this place.

They recommend a great Tire Center who does repairs and thorough work to make sure you vehicle is safe to drive.** It was well worth the wait and time. The place is called Tire world across from the Frederick ICE Rink. The people at Tire World very very kind,friendly and Professional. They have a nice waiting area with a big screen TV, cookies to eat, coffee or water or soda to drink. *** I highly recommend you try this place at lease once, you may end up going back for other repairs ! 10- Thumbs !
