To many hoops, stops on the branch to get a new bank card. 3 positions and must now wait. Ridiculous! This should be a ulter easy process in the branch. They aren't busy, that's the crazy part.

They were arrogant, rude, and behaved as if I looked too poor to warrant any attention from them. I will never visit this branch again.

Bruce Jett is the owner of this Buy Here Pay Here Dealership, "Mountain Motors", located in…read moreFrederick, Maryland. Mountain Motors & the owner Bruce Jett take advantage of people. He monetizes off of the unfortunate situations of others and sells them vehicles that are salvage title that would not have even passed Maryland Inspection. Like other patrons have previously left in their reviews. He has hired his own personal Maryland Inspector who works there once a week and passes all the illegal cars. My 2006 Toyota Corolla was sold to me around July 2024 with the check engine light on, left and right front apron bent (frame), left front bumper hanging from previous accident, extreme pull to right when drove. I have replaced front tires 8 times, brakes, alternator, and battery 5 times due to electrical miswiring. Exhaust that comes up through holes in floor which is a carbon-monoxide issue to the point it is nauseating. They make no attempt to remedy the situation since notified within 24 hours of purchase not only to Bruce but to Owen who sold the vehicle. I spoke with Bruce Jett directly the morning after(9:00am) purchase of 8:30pm, and was told he did the legal minimal requirement required by law, he would not provide different vehicle, nor return my money. He stated don't bother with a lemon law approach because not a new vehicle. I have been told by a body shop that this salvage vehicle is not safe to drive nor should have been sold with bent frame. Another mechanic shops states that this vehicle should not have even passed inspection and is not legal in Maryland. I also notified Jeanne (finance manager) verbally and by email of the situation. However, even now when I reach out to Jeanne, their financial company representative ,which is located on site. In fact he has three separate businesses listed , yet in one building. The Mountain Motors portion who supposedly sells the cars, Royal Trust the finance Company and his Auto shop with yet another name. that is located at the dealership that Bruce also owns. I tried to trade in on another vehicle yet would not provide pay off amount. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Please do not trust these people with no parts of an experience that you should be happy and enjoyable. Save yourself from going through what myself and so many other people have/are going through with this dealership. Their Google Reviews and their rating here and on BBB all show this is a repeat thing that is happening to many customers and they need to be stopped.

Also went because my battery kept dying on me having to get it jumped only for them to say it's operating at 12.29V so it's good! Nope it's not! Went to an auto place and they tested the battery as only operating at 1/4 of its power and they said below 12.4 is bad. But not at Kia because they don't want to stand behind warrantying a 1.5year old battery that went bad. I won't be buying a Kia again not getting any service from them.

I've been a loyal Kia owner for over a decade and never had issues until dealing with the Frederick…read moreKia dealership. In 2022, I purchased a brand-new Kia Sorento, and just eight months later the vehicle began having major mechanical problems. Since then, the transmission has been replaced five times. Each repair required my vehicle to stay in the shop for a month or more, which significantly impacted both my personal life and my business. Throughout this entire process, I was dealing with these repeated breakdowns and extended repair periods while pregnant, and later while caring for a newborn, in addition to traveling with two other children. Despite being aware of this, the dealership never once showed empathy, flexibility, or concern for how severely this situation affected my family and day-to-day life. Most recently, while my vehicle was again in the shop, the dealership provided a rental vehicle that also broke down. I was originally told the tow would be covered. Later, I received a text stating I would be responsible for the tow, with the explanation that the rental shut down due to low gas. AAA confirmed this was not the case, and I personally verified the vehicle still showed approximately 20 miles of fuel remaining. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the situation escalated further. I was told my car would not be released unless I paid the fee. While my husband was on speakerphone explaining that a dealership cannot legally withhold a customer's vehicle without a valid, disclosed repair charge, the service representative assisting me, Ado, laughed and walked away while the legality of the situation was being explained. When I was again told I would not receive my vehicle unless I paid, I contacted the police to document the situation. Management later stepped in, acknowledged the fee should not have been applied, and released my vehicle. After I left, the service manager accidentally called me while discussing me and the situation, believing she was speaking with someone else. During that call, she questioned my reaction, despite being fully aware of what had taken place earlier. That call further highlighted the lack of professionalism and accountability throughout this experience. In addition, the primary service advisor I dealt with, Jack, was consistently condescending and dismissive, which only added to an already stressful situation. This dealership's handling of my vehicle and the way I was treated--from service staff to management--was unacceptable. After 14 years of Kia ownership, this dealership has single-handedly destroyed my confidence in the brand. I would never purchase another Kia and strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.
