Nick & Dezmond are truly the best!!!!!! Go see them if you are considering purchasing a SUV. I first contacted this dealership Tuesday, 6/30, and I was lucky to get Nick. Although, I loved the vehicle, I was hesitant due to price and the dealership being over an hour away. I did an application over the phone and within an hour Dezmond had an approval. I still wasn't comfortable with the payments. Nick DID NOT let me say it again DID NOT put any pressure on me when I declined. Fast forward to Friday Nick called me back, and advised me Dezmond was able to get me a better rate. This rate would keep my payments the same with Gap and extended warranty included. I made the drive and I was not disappointed. Nick is very knowledgeable and patient. He explained the details of the car, my contract and answered ALL my questions. Nick and Dezmond both was very personable and made me very comfortable. Never did I feel pressured or bamboozled. They were more than fair. Gave me adequate money for my trade and provided exemplary service. This whole experience was 1000/10. An although and hour away, these two are the only ones I want to purchase a vehicle from. Going forward they have all of my referrals. Ourisman please give these guys their kudos. PLEASE acknowledge them. They truly had a pleasant experience. AND best of all, after the test drive ans I officially said, YES, to the vehicle the process was less than an hr. I called and made an appointment for service on Thursday, 4/22/2026, and the appointment was for Friday, 4/23/2026, @ 7:09am. I arrived before 7am and I told the service representative my issue. He said, "there is a diagnostic fee." I said , "I don't need a diagnosis." He said, "That's how our technicians are paid." I said, "how much is it?" He said, $200.00. I said, "I am not paying that! I want to speak to the manager." He called the manager. When the manager got there I asked him to come aside so we could talk. I told him what his employee said and I said I don't need a diagnosis. That's when the manager said, "We don't have the part. The part is on back order." So when I made the appointment I was NOT told that they didn't have the part. When I spoke to the service representative, he didn't tell me they didn't have the part but he did try to insist I pay $200.00, for a diagnosis and then what? My wife took her 2017 Camry in for Toyota Care Maintenance in July. Supposed to top off fluids, and rotate tires. They didn't. They said she had a bad battery. I took to Auto Zone, it checked ok. They said she needed a new cabin and air filter... white as snow. It started making a noise recently so we took it back. They said it sounds like the suspension. Around $200 for diagnosis. Declined the service. They said the oil was down a quart because "it's an old car", "it's burning a quart a month". IT'S AN 8 YEAR OLD CAMRY WITH 70k MILES ON IT! I checked the oil, it's fuller than it should be. I was gonna buy my wife a new Highlander from there, but this location has lost my business because their SERVICE dept. sucks. Too bad they're 5 minutes away. I'll go back to Antwerpen in Clarksville. (An hour away) If I could leave ZERO stars I would. The service department is full of crooks. they totally tried to take advantage of me. They claimed all of my brake pads needed replacing, needed to service the front and rear differentials, and exchange transmission fluid. They did not provide a video to substantiate their claims. The prices they wanted to charge were insanely high for the service (and higher than other Toyota service departments in the area charge for the same service). My car is a 2021 Toyota Rav4, was purchased new, and haa less than 50,000 miles on it. I took my car to another Toyota dealership, and lo and behold the brake pads do not need replacing. They also stated they did not recommend servicing the differentials, and that there aren't specific guidelines regarding transmission fluid exchange. If you care about good service and not wasting your money, take your car elsewhere. The service department was great when it was still Thompson Toyota, but Ourisman has ruined them. read more

SHYSTERS!!! BUYER BEWARE REGARDING HARD INQUIRIES AND SELLING OF DAMAGED CARS!!! I approached Ourisman Toyota 40 with a CapOne pre-approval, provided the necessary documentation, and informed them that I wanted the financing limited to ONE bank, only. Per CapOne's instructions, the dealership would run my credit to ensure nothing had changed, so I signed the credit authorization. Because the terms were not aligned with what had been presented to me by the bank and as relayed by the Finance Director, I stepped away from the table for the weekend to discuss this matter with the bank. Upon my return, the car had been sold. Almost three weeks later I received several calls and emails about a new car on the lot. I phoned and discussed the matter with another manager at the dealership that relayed that the Finance Director would simply perform a "rehash", which is replacing the old car VIN and particulars with the new one (the cars cost the same) and resubmit the deal to CapOne. Without having seen the car, nor signing a new or submitting a revised credit authorization, I immediately started receiving notifications that other banks were reviewing my credit because of a submittal by Ourisman's Finance Director. Because the Finance Director failed to answer or return my calls or email, I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. After waiting another hour, they finally brought the car around. As I pushed a button, I discovered that the entire panoramic roof was shattered. Additionally, the terms of the sale again differed from what I had been advised by CapOne. Needless to say, I decided against doing business with Ourisman. I continued my search and a month later I came across the perfect deal and a new dealership that was willing to give numerous concessions to make the deal happen. I was in the middle of signing the paperwork and had been given the keys, when the Finance Manager and Sales Manager advised me that I had been denied credit because of the number of hard inquiries on my report. Devastated, I pulled copies of my credit report the next day and found that there were 31 hard inquiries and more than 20 were associated/attributed to Ourisman Toyota 40. I have spent the last six months in attempting to work with Ourisman and their attorney to have the inquiries removed. Ourisman and I collaborated together on a letter that was sent to each of the credit reporting bureaus for the removals. Ourisman sent to me copies of the USPS certified notices as well as offering a de minimus amount for payment as a "goodwill gesture". Ourisman has been notified by Experian that they must contact and submit the request for removals through e-Oscar, which is an automated system that facilitates credit history dispute processing between Data Furnishers and Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs). Interestingly, they (Ourisman) have declined to submit the request for removal. This leaves me in a position that both hurts my credit and could taint my current and/or any future federal employment background/security check. Within the last week, the Ourisman contracted attorney, offered me $3,000 and indicated that they will continue to attempt to have the hard inquiries removed. However, when I asked for a formal plan of action related to e-Oscar notification and a substantially increased settlement amount of $1,000 per occurrence which is in line with statutory damages, Ourisman has now withdrawn all offers. In speaking with Maryland Attorney General's Office the issues related to hard inquiries are a recurring consumer complaint against Ourisman that they see quite often. In reviewing other Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint filings regarding exorbitant (numerous) hard inquiries and despite being told that the customer already has financing in-hand, Ourisman impishly responds that they (customers) signed the credit application and it authorizes and provides approval for them to contact as many banks as they would like so that they can get their customers a better deal. Mixed feelings Good: I love the automation they have with communication and status of your vehicle I got an email telling me my service was completed (wish it was a text...not everybody cks emails regularly) Bad: the email also included a link that listed 5 things that desperately needed to be addressed. It didn't say "we recommend this at X number of miles" it literally said NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. Scared me so, that I almost committed to the $800 worth of work Good: I declined the work online. ( decided to mull it over) and when I went to pick up my vehicle, none of those "need immediate attention" things were on my paperwork. So I asked why not. This is when I was told "oh. We just recommend these things at X mileage". So, good, they assuaged my fears...bad, that they made me worry in the first place Bad: I've been going to them for two years for basic maintenance: they have yet to get my address and phone number correct. Even when I scratch through and hand-write the correct info on the intake paperwork (The Last time I waited for the LYFT driver, and he went to an address I had 5yrs ago, despite picking me up at the correct place initially! they can't seem to keep the correct address in the system) Bad: twice they have gone into my "trunk", taken stuff out, and tossed things back in with no regards to order. I've had my golf club cart thrown atop by golf clubs and my golf bag torn! However since I have no way of "proving" they did it, there's nothing I can do I asked the first time "what inspection and change of oil/tires" would require going into the rear area of my vehicle...the ticket explicitly said "they did NOT ck the spare tire". So why do they have to remove items, and when they put them back they don't care how it's done. I didn't expect them to go into the rear area this time, so didn't think to tell them NOT to Good: it's near, so I can drop off and get back to work easily. but I may start using jones junction instead. Got an email and spoke with Cassie Farlow in the evening, and she said she had the vehicle ON THE LOT. That was around 8pm that night. The car was also listed on the website as available. I planned to arrive the next day, you know, to BUY THE CAR THAT WAS ON THE LOT. I called in the AM to confirm before I took the hour trip to get there. No answer after a few tries. Then, when I got there, I was told the car that we spoke about on the phone was ALREADY PRESOLD (?!) and they did NOT have it on the lot. ...what kind of customer service is this to lie? I confirmd several times that the price we agreed on would be all-in and including fees. I even explained I would not be finanacing and told that this was OK wiyh the price. 16 Feb. 24 I took my 2011 tundra to Dousman for shaking when braking. I was told it was a brake air turbo. Took it to my wife's mechanic who own the same truck , was told it was 2 rotars. Cost less than one third of the $3000 ourisman wanted to cgarge. Ive been a custoner since 2016 when it was thompson. I will no longer do business with this dealership including service on my challenger whichvi also bought from thompson. Then the finance guy( they have the screen as a table screen( very unprofessional not printing paperwork) this should be your 1st red flag, 2nd is anything you talked about with Tex or Ron, finance guy acts like he knows nothing about your deals/ agreements set by you and Ron(sales manager ). 3rd red flag is after going over paperwork and pointing out their"mistakes "( these mistakes never benefits the buyer, so they really are not mistakes unless you catch them, ourisman will never point them out.). But once you do the new paperwork they just move the mistakes to see if you can find the new "mistakes". so this all started on election night, they drag their feet and waste your time so you just want to get the hell out of the dealership( they did this to my girlfriend), I replied Hunny get a drink, they are playing there game, they are here til closing so they don't care you her here for 6 hours.. we get the car( paperwork on a thumb drive they give you) this is like the 7th red flag that you should not trust this dealership. A few days after 11/5 I get looking at the paperwork on the thumb drive and finding $2300 extra in "mistakes " Ron calls them. Now we gotta go back to deal ship on Saturday to correct paperwor(2hrs. Drive one way) then 4 hrs with them jerking you around all day, paperwork not ready, paperwork not correct. Ask Ron why title, tags, & registration went up $190 ( his lips moved) meaning anyone? That's right he's lying!( " o' anything you over pay DMV sends you a check!" I call BS, talk to DMV and call Ron out on his lie. This is on 11/09/24. I purchased a used 2020 Tahoe, gave 3 days advance notice as I found it on Car Gurus. Get to dealership at 10am, quickly test drive and salesman apologizes for truck being so dusty and dirty. Ensures me that if i buy it, it would be "detailed and thoroughly checked." By 2pm, all paperwork done and truck was wiped down on inside, washed. YET I get home to have inspection done in VA, sand and mud is everywhere, undercarriage, under seats, in muffler, in door panels and speakers even air filter full of mud and sand. But yet, CarFax says it is not a flood car? Dealership now not honoring the need for tire alignment, new tire rods, leaks and need for sand deep cleaning as it was driven off road at beach right before my sale/showing. Long story short, I would never buy anything from Ourisman Toyota 40 again. Several lies by Ourisman Toyota 40 made it a living nightmare for me and my girlfriend. I Bought a new 2025 Toyota Camry on June 28th and it was one of the worst experiences on my life. On June 25th I started talking to "Charley Harding" over text. I told them I am from New Jersey and wanted to buy a Camry LE I saw on their website. Unfortunately that Camry I wanted was already reserved. A few days later on the 28th Josue Torres texted me and told me about more Camrys they had available after some negotiation we agreed on a Camry SE for 30k before taxes and fees. I have the text as proof! We agreed to the price of the car around 11am and Ourisman Toyota 40 refused to hold the car for me until I got off work at 6pm. So of course someone came in to buy the Camry I wanted. Ourisman Toyota 40 told me the car was being sold to someone else. At 5pm they told me the person buying the Camry couldn't get financing approved. Not wanting the car to get sold again I pick up my girlfriend and drive 1 hour and 30 min to Ourisman Toyota 40. When I get there and start doing the paperwork with the sales guy Jose Torres I immediately notice that the price is about $1500 more then the 30k we agreed to. He suddenly doesn't remember agreeing to the 30k price. When I show him the text as proof he says OK and goes to get a manager. I don't remember the managers name but he refused to honor the 30k price. They tried to gaslight me into thinking I agreed to the 30k price with Charley Harding and he doesn't have any authority to makes prices and he "barley even works there just answers texts". I was furious to say the least. I couldn't believe the let me drive an hour 30 min for nothing. I spent 15min arguing with the manager. He was condescending and smug the entire time. Six different sales guys were surrounding the table after a while just listening to us argue back and forth. I eventually realize that nothing was going to change the managers mind and my girlfriend was beyond embarrassed and just wanted to leave. So I called them a bunch of jokes and left. I go out to my old car and start to drive away. Suddenly a guy in a cowboy hat who I have never seen comes up to the can and says "I am Texas Toyota and I just called Charley Harding on the phone and he actually did agree to the price so lets go back in a buy a car!" It was beyond ridiculous I wanted to just drive away but I wanted the car more so I went back in and bought it for the original 30k we agreed to over text. My girlfriend was too embarrassed to come back in and waited outside in the car for 2 hours while we did the paperwork! Looking back it was obviously a setup. They know I lived an hour and 30 min away in NJ and was working until 6pm that day. We agree to the 30k price at 11am and at 12pm the car gets sold to someone else. They wait until 5pm to tell me other guys financing wasn't approved and if I come right now I can get the car. They created this false pressure that was going to lose the car if I didn't come right away. They defiantly thought they could jack up the price and I would still buy it. Last Note I was never going to leave a review of my experience until I saw a Review by Horton5224 on their website. Our experiences are so similar its crazy. They obviously do this a ton. The buying process wasn't too bad (this was back when it was still Thompson). Service up to this point hasn't been bad either. But this time, I'm a little frustrated. I spoke with Grant on the phone. Seems like a great guy. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I had to deal with a couple of guys who seem to hate their jobs and don't seem to care for the people that come in either. I needed to drop my car off and I was told I could get a loaner. When I came (the first time), I was told one was not reserved for me. I didn't have a ride home so I rescheduled. I came to this dealership looking for a car that I saw advertised online. I was given very good service from the salesman, Kevin and a very good car. The car was in great shape and had no hidden problems or defects. I am a senor citizen and female. I have no real knowledge of autos with the exception of having had a 2002 Toyota Echo since 2013 and have maintained it well. I did have the car checked by my mechanic when I got home. After having for 3 days, the drive shaft was completely inoperable. Took almost 30 days to repair and when I received my truck back, it still was not the same. If you think any service experience you've had at Ourisman dealerships are bad... Try working for them. 1. The mandatory 70% markup over list for parts. 2. They just liquidated Chrysler/Jeep. we found out about 2 weeks prior to closing. The service side was moved to another location. (some moved on). But when it came to Parts. NO JOBS OFFERED. This does not fall on our immediate manager. He did a great job, as he could only deal with it the same as we could. 3. We primarily work off of commission. When it came time to pick up the last check (commission) Ourisman prorated our checks 60%, and failed to pay us our $250 bonus for making all of our numbers. This , right at the start of the Holidays. So No job, and a third of the deserved pay. Rob Ourisman, you are not an impressive human. Now I can't speak for how Ourisman Sr. Ran his business, but this guy who has probably never known a single day of financial hardship , in my eyes is hell bent on making money no matter whos pocket, or livelyhood takes the sting. These guys are dishonest crooks that live up to all the sleazy car sales stereotypes. They sell cars over Toyota MSRP and then are not transparent or consistent in their pricing and will change a price mid contract and strong arm you into signing for that price, or fully allow you sign a contract when they have changed the price without explaining to you how they altered the deal. We thought we had a deal and as we were getting ready to write the check, and sign the paperwork, all of a sudden Mike Something the sales manger calls over the sales person who brings back new paper work with a new amount, when we questioned this there was a lot of shady talk about how the price quoted to us and agreed to buy was not for the correct VIN and the price for the car that we wanted was actually $51k. All of a sudden the model that we wanted was going to be $7k more then we thought we had agreed on, then and they began to pressure us to sign it quickly without giving a reasonable explanation as to why the price was more when we asked and why the paperwork changed. They tried to swindle us and baited us to agree to one price and then tried to slip a higher price in before we realized what we signed for. Mike Something unwillingness to make any concessions shows me that It was not a mistake but a sleazy trick. Be cautious if you decide to buy here and know that they are charging thousands and thousands of dollars over Toyota MSRP and will strong arm and trick you into signing a contract for a price that was more then you agreed to. read more

I have a list of adjectives to describe Don Ward's skill set. He is calm, with a strong work ethic, highly organized, conscientious, knowledgeable, polite, sensitive, and loyal. He is calm if servicing consumers who do not know as much as they think they know. His strong work ethic enables him to work long hours every weekday and on some Saturdays. Don has a wealth of knowledge about auto mechanics, warranties, policies, and regulations. He is loyal to his company and consumers. He is an astute listener. Don will explain the need for a repair as many times as necessary, Thereby assuring the Consumer that the repair is needed. He is always respectful and chivalrous. I love the guy. My hardworking husband purchased Toyota Highlander on 10/11/22 during evening. The vehicle was supposed to be brand new with only 8miles. As we both did research and compared vehicles at other establishments, prior to purchase... On 10/12, less than 24 hours of ownership, engine light came on and went off repeatedly. Also as the vehicle was at stoplight the vehicle ignition cut off and restarted automatically. Service call was made, and was given appt. for 10/13 and decided to return the vehicle. At first I was angry and disappointed, but after communicating my frustration with 2 different managers and my husband, we arranged meeting. Discussions were held, and in the end Ourisman agreed to buy back vehicle. Afterwards, we purchased a 2023 Toyota 4Runner, from this same establishment. I am happy again ! My vehicle looks great, performs great, and now I'm finding out that we our price was pretty good, considering option package. Thanks again, Mike for your understanding. Bad experience with service department: sought to replace existing OEM tires (which are widely reported to lack traction under wet conditions) with another brand. Service manager (Mr. Rampersad) acknowledged that the switch I proposed would be beneficial, that he in fact had done the same thing. His suggestion? "Wait for a buy 3 get one free sale." With help like this, why bother? Spend $50K on a new vehicle, and all you get is a "good luckwith that!". This is my fourth 4Runner, and I've had them all service by authorized Toyota shops. Guess where I won't be going for routine service? Really disappointing attitude for so-called "customer service". Can't recommend, find another dealership. read more

this is the worst dealership ever!! Do not go here!!! I bought a new car from them in September 2022 and I have been calling ever since because they were supposed to transfer my tags however I have never received a registration and my old tags apparently cannot be used because they never transfered them . I have called and called . i have gotten passed from person to person promising me they would straighten out the problem and send my tags and registration however it has not answered . This has been going on for 5 months. I've talked to managers who promise to fedex it and it never comes and they give a wrong tracking number. The salesman o purchased the car from had quit after 40 years because this dealership is so bad. I was told on Monday I would have the tags delivered yesterday from fedex. they still have not arrived and the tracking number is not correct. I have called 4 times since then and my calls have not been returned . This is the absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with and I am 66 years old!! DO NOT GO TO OURISMAN TOYOTA!!!!! read more
