After spending over a decade with the same stylist, it was intimidating to switch, but I kept seeing reviews that mentioned Andrew and his incredible skills in both cut and color. I trusted those reviews--and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I have both been going to Andrew for years now, and we're extremely loyal clients because there's simply no need to look elsewhere. I get a cut every few months and a balayage about once a year, and it lasts forever. The color grows out beautifully and still looks intentional months later, which is rare and such a testament to his skill. His cuts are just as impressive--effortless, flattering, and easy to maintain. Andrew truly is one of the best cut and color stylists out there, and I recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for either service. The staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone to find the right stylist for me to book with, and even got me into an opening that happened to open up the next day. I texted with Rebecca, the stylist I would be seeing, and she was straight forward and easy to communicate with. When I got to the salon, it got even better. Rebecca is so nice, and it was clear she knows what she's doing with hair, specifically with blonde coloring and cuts. We had a brief consultation to discuss more in detail what had been discussed over text. She understood exactly what I wanted, gave me a break down of her plan, and confirmed again the price and time frame, both of which were very reasonable. She offered me something to drink as she got things ready with the color. Throughout the appointment, she was asking me questions to get to know me, seemed genuinely interested, and seemed like a friend. It was clear she not only is good at her work, but she enjoys it. My hair was done pretty close to the time frame she gave initially, and it was a reasonable time frame for what we were doing. And very important- my hair is AMAZING! She did exactly what I asked. I am so happy with it! But even so, she made sure I knew she wanted me to love my hair, so to let her know if after living in it I needed anything to be adjusted. I mean come on, what more could you ask for- perfect hair, and made sure I felt I could reach out with adjustments if needed- which brings extra peace of mind. When we finished everything, she gave me a hug and still seemed genuinely happy. She had another appointment right after, but did not make me feel brushed off even to the end of the experience. All around, Rebecca and Studio Three are a blessing. It's rare to find a stylist and salon that do excellent work and also make it a genuinely wonderful experience in every aspect.

I went in for a cut and color. It was my first time at this salon. My stylist did a great job…read morecoloring my hair. However, my haircut was not great and this review reflects the terrible customer service I received after the appointment regarding the haircut. For the haircut, I asked for a trim. The stylist visually showed me she'd trim off, using her fingers to demonstrate. It was approximately an inch and I agreed to that. However, a significant amount was cut off instead. I was hesitant, but ultimately did not mention the issue while in the salon as I did not pay for styling, so I knew I'd probably need to style it at home to see the final product. After washing and drying it myself, I found some strands were longer than others, and the layers were heavy around my face. So, I called the salon and said, "Hi. I was in earlier this week, I got a haircut I'm not super satisfied with, would you be able to fix it?" The women responded, "What, like it's broken?" Her response felt dismissive, defensive, and rude. I was honestly shocked and caught off guard. So, I simply repeated, "I'm not satisfied with the haircut and would like it fixed." She proceed to say to list potential problems to clarify what I meant. Her tone was incredibly unwelcoming and defensive. At that point, I didn't feel comfortable moving forward with them to correct the cut and decided to go elsewhere. So, I hung up the call. It's a shame this happened, as everyone (front desk, stylist) was nice during my salon visit and I think a quick, minor adjustment could of completely resolved this issue. There was no need to be hostile in this situation.
