TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Ordered take out last weekend since no find in due to covid. Ordered bloomin onion, chicken sandwich, two chicken salads with extra dressing, and a cup of potato soup. I drove 20 min to pick it up and 20 min back home. They gave us the onion (it was burnt) and the sandwich fine. The salads had no chicken or extra dressing (which we paid for). Called and spoke to the manager Amanda. She asked me to drive back to pick the missing food up which I declined to do. She told me it could not be delivered due to her driver calling off but offered to send vouchers in the mail which I declined because I have no intention of eating there again. I had to ask for my money back for the food I was not given, she didn't volunteer that. I was given a sob story about how this woman was a new manager and had inherited all these problems. She had me on hold so long I had to hang up and call back before she would give me my refund. She told me she had another customer to deal with which is fine, but rude not to tell me and just leave me on hold so long. After I hung up I realized we were also missing the soup. So I called back and this time the manager said she just didn't want any more issues and she would refund my bill and then hung up on me. I didn't expect such abrupt ending to the call so I called back to see if we'd been disconnected. Amanda then became rude and did not offer any sort of confirmation of refund. I write all this because this event happened a week ago and the charges are still on my credit card. Why are business given free reign to provide such deplorable food and lack of service and the customers suffer?? Will NEVER eat at an outback again. read more

Weak. The wife and I had some late dinner there on Saturday night, July 2, 2016. She had coconut shrimp and a Caesar salad. I ordered the large prime rib and a baked potato. Fully one half of my steak was completely fat or gristle...in other words not edible. We told the waitress and out comes the manager who listens to my complaint. Then he says, "Ya, that was the last piece of prime rib left in the kitchen. How about if I deduct $5 from the bill ?" Now, I have eaten steak in a lot of restaurants and that steak probably should never have even made it out to any table. What should have happened is the server should have come out and said that they were out of the prime, and I could have selected another cut of meat. And any respectable Steakhouse would have taken my steak completely off the bill, and not offered a measly $5 off the bill. Won't be going there again. read more

The place was very hot. The draft beer system was down and the waitress had RBF when she arrived at our table. We left and went elsewhere

Service was Excellent, salad, steaks, and a blooming onion were ordered and everything was WAY TOO SALTY! Drank 3 bottles of water after we left. I would have given it a five for overall except the salt issue really ruined the flavors. read more

I'm actually surprised how much I like Outback. I think it is one of the better chain restaurants. I'm consistently had better steaks at Outback than a lot of the more high end, expensive restaurants. I don't get to Outbacks too often, but every time I do, I leave very impressed by the meal I just had. I came in here the other night as I was staying in the area and this place was pretty close to my hotel. I grabbed a booth and was greeted by my server very quickly. Service was good and attentive throughout the meal which is always appreciated. My go to order here is the Outback special. I went with the 9 ouncer on this visit. I ordered it with fries and a caesar salad. Outback makes one of the best caesar salads I've ever had and it is always served on a freezing cold plate. The salad was excellent. I hate to go on and on about a salad but it really is excellent. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Once again, it was a phenomenal cut of meat. At about $15 or $16, this steak was much better than others I've paid $40+ for. It was so lean and there was barely any fat/waste to it. I was very impressed by the steak and I'll definitely be getting it again. The one negative to Outback is that their fries aren't very good. I kind of always forget about that before I order them. I'm definitely going with another side next time. This particular Outback can actually be a little difficult to find and I recommend they put some better signs out on the road. The parking lot is huge so it's not hard to get a spot. For the quality of food, the prices are very reasonable and they weren't too packed on a weeknight. I'd have no problem returning. read more

Alas, I was unable to join my wonderful hubby on his business trip so he had to dine alone. We are not familiar with with the area (being from the Left Coast) so I turned to my tried and true Yelper friends. This restaurant is not far from the Pittsburgh Int'l Airport and easy to find so I directed him to Outback as it has not disappointed in the past. DH ordered the Shrimp/Scallops/Mahi Medley, with steamed brown rice and veggies on the side.. DH loved the Medley, stating it was excellent. (He's an honest man so I have to believe what he said.) Everything was served separately on the plate (thank goodness, since DH and Monk have much in common). The fishy items were all grilled with tasty remoulade on the side. All were fresh and cooked perfectly. [Hang on; my mouth is watering as I type this.] There was a good variety of veggies (carrots, brocolli, snow peas and more), also cooked perfectly. The steamed rice was very good, too. The little bread loaves were excellent as usual. He even ate two, they were so good. His server was friendly and attentive, which he appreciated. The decor is very nice and the restaurant and the mens room were all clean. (I'll take his word on that last one, too.) It was much better than he expected with it being next door to a Super Kmart. Plenty of parking and not too crowded for a Monday night. He was seated right away. He says he looks forward to eating there again. I'm just glad he's happy since it was my idea for him to eat there! Horrible, horrible, horrible service!!! We were there for over an hour and a half and they were not even busy.... save your money. I got a philly cheese stake sandwich, husband for a crunchy chicken sandwich and my kids got Mac and cheese and the kids steak... took forever for our food, waitress only came back to refill our drinks once and got that wrong..... save your money!!!! read more

Decided today to go and get some steak my cousin and I got seated and they even wiped off the table and the waitresses and waiters kept on waking past us like 4 or 5 times and we sat for 10 mins and not anyone came to greet us or even acknowledge us they kept on going to other tables and asking how was your food do you need your bill etc we walked out and left ! read more

We ate here Fathers Day and it was crowded as expected. If you're looking for a good Cobb Salad, go somewhere else. It looks like any other dinner salad with a few pieces of chicken on top. Scant amounts of bacon and hard boiled egg and all mixed together, not in rows.....probably so you won't notice the lack of key ingredients that give the salad it's name. To add insult to injury, I got the worst stomach ache I ever had that evening into the next day. My dog got two pieces of chicken from it and she Had diarrhea the next day also. First time visitor to the Moon location. Had been to the McKnight rd location once before, but that was a long time ago when it first opened. It was Thursdsy night about 6:30 pm, probably 3/4 full. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. A bit too much as I only wanted one soft drink then water. Everytime I looked up the server was dropping off another soda. Hardly a complaint on my part, I just now know to make that clear up front. The onion blossom appetizer was main problem. It was not properly peeled leaving big sections that felt like plastic when you bit into it. It looked a bit dark when it arrived. Only to find some sections a bit undercooked and doughy. The fryer obviously needed a good filtering or changing. There was a pleasant sweet taste to the batter. But the sauce was too peppery for my taste. That is not a phrase I say lightly either. Our main courses were bbq ribs with Garlic mashed potaties and Grilled Chicken breast covered in bacon strips, mushrooms and In think Mozzarella (forgot to ask my companion) also with Garlic Potatoes. My ribs were damn near perfectly prepared. Big and meaty without being fatty! They were so tender I literally just made my way down the rack and just pulled the bones from the meat with hardly any resistance. Tender and juicy! The garlic mashed were tasty, but a bit dense. More reminiscent of a mix than fresh. Not really a complaint, it was just noticeable. Oh, almost forgot the Bbq sauce. Not my fav style, a bit vinagery for my taste. (I was a huge fan of the now all but defunct Bobby Rubino's chain of rib joints. I would sit there and just dip the bread in the sauce as my appetiser). But judging BBQ sauce is like judging your own kids. Different styles and personalities mesh better with certain people. If your into thicker, richer sauces, try this. My companions Chicken breast was large and grilled well, fully through. No underdone spots on the thicker end and no overdone on the tapered tip. She was pleased. A classic and effective combination. Our dinner was amazing. I got the sirloin, which was cooked to the correct temperature, with the new garlic butter on top and it tasted incredible! We also got the salted caramel cookie dessert which was probably the best dessert we've ever had! Our server was prompt and friendly. Prices are on the higher side but totally worth it. This was a welcomed pleasure after a recent horrible visit to the nearby Longhorn. My filet medallions turned out to absolute perfection. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the salad and bread were tasty. Our waiter Danny was fantastic! We never had to ask for a refill and he was very attentive throughout our meal. This is my absolute favorite steakhouse in Pgh! My husband took me to dinner this afternoon. It was Mother's Day and the place was packed with lines of hungry, patient patrons in line way beyond the entrance. We chose to sit at the bar in order to avoid the wait. My dinner was absolute perfection. I ordered the 6oz strip with garlic butter on top, the steamed broccoli and a baked sweet potato. My steak was melt-in-your mouth perfect. The broccoli was tender and bursting with flavor. The sweet potato was also out of this world. Our waitress, Sharon L. was extremely efficient. She had a great personality, checking on us often. Our service was prompt. We did not have to wait very long for anything. This was amazing because of how extremely busy it was today. Awesome food, awesome service on probably the busiest day of the year! Cannot wait to go back! read more

Sharon, a waitress there, is an absolute delight. She provided excellent service. She let me sample a few wines and didn't get Aggravated when we couldn't decide real quick on what we wanted. She made us feel like she was a gracious host at a friendly get together not a waitress. She seemed to come back to table at all the Convenient times. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. I got a filet my fiancé got a sirloin. -1 star because I am just not crazy about their vegetables. They are never cooked to my liking. And I never remember to ask of them to subtract the brown sugar and cinnamon on my sweet potato but I can't subtract a point for that! Okay for a chain restaurant. - which I typically don't like unless it's a weeknight quick mean. Especially with the service of Sharon. read more

Me and my fiance came here 3 days in a row, different waiter each time, different hour of the day each time and the service and food was fantastic. Filet migno 6 oz medium cooked perfectly 3 days in a row. The sweet potatoe with honey butter and brown sugar... absolutely to die for. And their homemade ranch with any salad DELIC!!! So fresh and crisp and i can not forget the fresh hot baked bread. I eat two by myself. Today i am trying a huckleberey cocktail with moonshine which is ahmazing and the first day i asked for a strawberry martini from a later menu and they knew what i wanted and it was so good i had 3. I highly recommend outback, moon. I will return for a 4th visit very soon. read more

Great food and drinks! The bathrooms are so clean and that says a lot about an establishment!! Tony the owner is very nice and funny.

This is now my new favorite restaurant, and location of this franchise in my area. I ate here three days in a row, each meal and service better than the day before. It is hard to go wrong when there are so many choices for eating healthy, with good management and servers. The food is prepared exactly as ordered, steaks perfect temperature - no under cooking to be safe, vegetables done right. I think I am going back tonight again, they are going to get sick of looking at me. I want to try the salmon that looks so good. I see no reason to eat anywhere else. I wanted a tomato/provolone salad that Friday's has. Manager had one prepared for me, it was three times better than the competition. Thank you. read more

The online system made ordering take out easy. The food was ready within 10 minutes of placing the order. My food was delivered to the car within 30 seconds of pulling up to the curbside parking. A friendly young lady delivered the food to the car and thanked me for my order. Upon arriving home I noticed a lobster/mushroom topping was not included. I called and a friendly guy named Will but me through to a manager in less than a minute. The manager was cheerful and refunded my card with no questions asked. She apologized for the inconvenience and explained the online system offered and option that the location had not served in three years. Very disappointed with the curbside service this time around. Sat outside for 10 minutes after scheduled order time and finally went in. Random waiter walked by so I asked about my order. He said it just came up and would come out. Seriously? I ordered online so I would t have to get out of my car, isn't that what curbside delivery is about. Got the teriyaki steak, cook should go back to his day job. Ask for medium, didn't realize is was an average, some over cooked and some so soft I could hear the COW MOOING. 2nd attempt were soft to the touch and raw inside. Granted they did offer a free appetizer or dessert. I lost my appetite at that point. They did give us a coupon for a free appetizer but I'm not sure who I would give it too, I don't have very many enemies. Too bad because the service crew did a good job. Won't be back anytime soon. :( read more
