    Filet Tip Salad

Take out recently was a little confusing. Any promotion or reward can not be entered on their app. You have to use it and pay when you pick up your order. The food however was very good. Beef Tips with marinated mushrooms and mashed potatoes and broccoli. Also the shrimp skewer appetizer. Of course their rolls with cinnamon butter are a must. Service was excellent.

I'm a big Texas Roadhouse fan. I normally go to the one in either Greensburg or Monroeville, but my mom and I were running errands in McCandless, so we stopped at this location for lunch. I order the same thing almost every time. It's the chicken critter salad. So I ordered the salad like normal. When our food arrived, we started eating. I felt like the ranch tasted off (I love Texas roadhouse's Ranch dressing) but whatever. My mom ordered a side salad with ranch and she made a comment about how her ranch tasted different than it normally does. I agreed and we both were disappointed that the ranch at this location was not the norm. Additionally, our service was just okay. Our waitress was nice enough, but we had to flag her down to ask for drink refills and for more bread. The Resturant wasn't overly crowded and there were amply staff walking around. I don't know, it wasn't a terrible experience overall, but I don't see myself visiting this location again.

My previous review of this place was posted more than seven years ago. It's time to update it. This place is still one of my favorites. Beautiful Texan ambience, nice and friendly and timely service, and good steak which is worth the dollars you pay for it. We showed up at about 6:00 pm and were seated immediately. The house was almost full. We ordered onion blossom appetizer and steak. All were tasty. We enjoyed our visit and will go there again and again as we did over the past seven years.

Ribs, steak, rolls, chili.. just enjoying our early dinner.

Consistently good experiences. We've had less than great ones in the past, but it seems that they recover well when they struggle. Mallory, our server today, was exceptional.

We stopped into Texas Rodhouse on our last night in Pittsburgh. It's not typically my jam to go to a chain restaurant and I haven't eaten at one since college, but we were limited in our nearby choices and we could walk there. We walked in without a reservation on a Tuesday night and it was packed! We were lucky enough that there was a small space at the bar for us to squeeze in! As we waited for our food, we snacked on the Bread with cinnamon butter, this was so delicious!! We both ordered the filets smothered with mushrooms onions jack cheese and gravy. Served with sides of Smokey green beans and steak fries. Everything was good but priche gravy was super salty... If we stay at the nearby hotel again, we will probably eat at this Texas Roadhouse again.

My son took me out to diner last night to Texas Roadhouse. I have never been to one before. We got there early and there was only a 5-10 minute wait. The staff where friendly and helpful. My son and I choose out hand cut steaks before being seated and we where given tickets for the steaks we choose. I ordered a 11oz sirloin medium rare and mash potatoes and a caesar salad and a Corona to wash it down. The salad needed more dressing which the waiter was more than happy to bring more. The steak was cooked slightly over cooked it was in-between medium and medium rare closer to med rare but still cooked too much as the outside areas where closer to well done. The mashed potatoes where ok nothing special. The steak was good and had a good taste to it. The server was ok could have looked in on us more . with so many steakhouses in the area such as Longhorn and my favorite Outback I do not think I will be going back to Texas Roadhouse again any time soon. If you order steak my suggestion is to go one cooking cycle higher if you like medium i suggest you get medium rare if you like medium rare I suggest you get rare.

The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. Parking can be a problem but there is some to be found on the other side of the street but lacks a crosswalk so be very careful.

The meats are smoked daily with a blend of hickory, cherry, and apple woods. Dining in, carry-out, delivery, and catering are available. So far, my husband and I have eaten three lunches from Big Rigs BBQ--two for dining in and one as a $250 takeout for family. We have tried most of the menu items and really enjoyed all of them. I have not yet tried every BBQ restaurant in the Pittsburgh region, but so far, Big Rig's BBQ is our favorite. For meats, we ate the brisket (5 stars, very tender and flavorful), baby-back ribs (5 stars, fall-off-the-bone and tasty), pulled-pork shoulder (4.5 stars, nicely smoked and goes well with the many sauces), original kielbasa (4.5 stars), cheddar-jalapeno kielbasa (4.5 stars), pineapple kielbasa (5 stars, an explosion of unique, delicious flavors), pork-belly burnt ends (4.5 stars, tender with a very flavorful sauce), turkey (4.5 stars, juicy and flavorful), and smoked turkey-club sandwich (5 stars, my husband loves its cheddar, bacon, lettuce, and dijonaise). For sides, we ate the mac and cheese (4 stars, American, cheddar, and pepper jack), potato salad (4.5 stars, with bacon, scallions, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, and mustard), cornbread (5 stars, with cheddar cheese and BBQ honey butter), BBQ baked beans (5 stars, very flavorful ingredients), and brussels sprouts (5 stars, tasty sauce). This BBQ restaurant also serves some salads. I ate a BBQ salad (5 stars) with my choice of protein, Nashville Chicken Breast. This salad might be the most loaded-up that I have ever eaten. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes as well as generous amounts of chicken, bacon, cornbread croutons that look ~2" in diameter, cheese, onions, and cranberries.

I greatly regret having to write this review. I contacted Two Brothers Barbeque some time ago to…read morecater my wedding. Initially, I had a wonderful experience. The individual I worked with, Terri, was initially responsive and accommodating and made me feel at ease about booking this business. I put down a deposit in early November. Later in November I reached out for some more information to aid in the planning of my wedding reception. However, I never heard back. I was not unduly concerned because this is a barbeque business and I thought this might be their "off-season". I assumed they would get back to me when they were able. I did not hear back from Two Bothers Barbeque, even when springtime rolled around, so I called them a couple of times. I did not hear back. At this point, I got concerned because our wedding was in only three months. I was eager to speak to them to have some questions answered. My fiancé suggested we drive to the business, so we could connect with them. When we drove to the business, we were rather dismayed to see many signs stating "Business for Sale." There was a phone number on one of the "For Sale" signs, so I called it and said that I had seen their "For Sale" signs and was interested in talking about this. At this time, I did not tell them my name or state that I was a client. I got a return call pretty immediately. When I received the call-back, I explained that I had emailed and called the business without hearing back, and that I was concerned that the business was for sale, as we were counting on them catering our wedding. The gentleman on the phone (the owner, I believe) said they were retiring and were winding down the business, but that they planned to honor all scheduled events. He said he would have Terri call me. I was extremely relieved - but only for a short while. Terri called after several minutes. I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was concerned because I hadn't received a response to my email or phone calls and then saw that the business was for sale. She said that the catering part of the business was for sale, as well as their food trucks, but they would still honor their contracts for the summer. However, she then said she would just refund my money if I was uncomfortable. I was taken aback - I had said nothing about cancelling the contract and was really just nervous about the prospect of the business being sold. I received no kind of apology for the lack of communication. Terri said that she hadn't responded to my email in November because I sent it too close to Thanksgiving and that she never received my phone calls. At some point during this conversation, Terri became quite hostile, raising her voice and becoming accusatory. She blamed me for the lack of contact and did not take responsibility for failing to respond. The situation became truly unsettling; in fact, may I say, deeply shocking. Terri did say that she had some medical concerns, which I do sympathize with. However, I have had a number of medical issues, some of them quite serious, and I have never treated a client this way. Ultimately, I stated that she could cancel the booking and send the refund, which was what she appeared to want to do in the first place. It really seemed like she did not care too much about the business or leaving us in a precarious position of having no caterer for our wedding. I left the phone call truly bewildered and told my fiancé I was sorry and that I had lost the caterer for our wedding. He said, "You shouldn't be sorry. You did absolutely nothing wrong." (He had been listening to this conversation.) We went home and brainstormed new possibilities, and, luckily, found another local business that was more than willing to cater for us. They have been a dream to work with. I know this review probably does not matter because Two Brothers is retiring from catering, but it is important that people be careful when dealing with this company. If you have a current date booked with them, please considering making a back-up plan. I'm not sure this business cares to uphold its promises, nor does it take responsibility for its own actions. Please be prepared for the worst-case scenario.
