How this happened I still don't know. After waiting for 40 minutes to be sat, I ask if my party of 14 table is ready. With the buzzer given to me in my hand they tell me they don't have me down and I'm not on the list. How that happens when I have buzzer from them I don't get it. The manager gave us some free apps to say sorry for the mistake. The food was coming out wrong. Our wonderful waitress smoothed it all over and was what kept us smiling. Normally Outback is my go to. I love their bread and steak. The steak was fatty for some of us and the tortilla soup tasted weird. We are Outback regulars having eaten at an Outback in more than 6 states. I ordered a burger cooked medium and it came out rare. We also ordered the Queensland chicken and shrimp which we get every time we eat there. It tasted very sour like the milk in the sauce was bad. When the manager came to our table he said everyone who ordered this dish earlier in the day sent it back complaining about the sour taste. Last night my daughter and I wanted to thank my granddaughter for all her hard work helping us with a move. We went to the ISB location in Daytona Beach. We went in about 4:15 and were seated right away. We finally had to ask a young man clearing a booth if our waitress was around as we want to order.Salad just ok, too many lettuce ribs, the hard yellow/pale green ones. Picked half my salad to get to green. Then the main course, prime rib. VERY disappointing. Prime rib is usually a beautiful slice with very little fat or gristle. Not this hunk! It was an omen when we were seated and waited a while for someone to finally come take our drink order. So we place our drink orders and ordered a Blooming Onion. We asked for bread. After the drinks and onion were served, we placed our dinner order. Asked for the bread again. My husband got his meal and I sat there for a little over 10 minutes waiting on mine. As I was asking our waiter for the 3rd time for bread, I asked him why our meals weren't served at the same time. He stated that somebody in the kitchen must have thought his was an appetizer. Now why would they have thought that if the waiter had written the order correctly? Ok, so I finally get my prime rib I had been looking so forward to all day. I knew the second I saw it that it definitely wasn't rare. I can even live with medium rare. But it was Well Done! That was the Last straw. I was furious and I sent it away and asked for my check minus that horrible piece of meat. The Manager came over and made excuses and told me he was taking 50% off of my husband's fried shrimp soaked in grease and onion. But what really made me angry was the bill showed the charge of $30.79 for the prime rib and then showed it being comped. My definition of comped is, if I had eaten it not sending it back for incompetence. So for my birthday dinner I drove through McDonald's. I stopped going to this Outback a few years back for similar experiences and have been driving over to the one in Sanford. They know how to run a restaurant. read more

Hopefully a one off but haven't had luck with their to go/ Delivery team recently. An Hour and half later received Aussie fries cold and salad warm. Oh did I mention it took an hour and half and I'm only 3.5 miles away according to google maps. I get a text that my order will be delivered between 6:30 and 645pm. I stand out side out at 645 just to assist even though I gave detailed instructions on how to find my apartment I stood outside to make sure they could find me easily. waited till 7pm. Get a call 15 minutes later my order is ready but they cant find my apartment complex before they leave I give them land marks cross roads other know businesses such as Papa johns and dunking doughnuts right near my apartment complex. Still cant find me complex till I send then longitude and latitude via google maps. Mine you if off Nova a Main Road in town no extra turns off Nova and is only 3.5 miles away from their restaurant location!!! I get my food, finally around 730. The aussie cheese fries are cold and block of potato and cheese that I instantly have to reheat. My salad is warm. Minus croutons for some reason but I digress. My side shrooms and asparagus all I paid extra for was cold. I spent 50$ on an order for me one person for some good comfort food after a stressful day learning my car needed $2000 worth of work. In return I got bad service and cold food. Their delivery/to go team needs to work on efficiency not something I would assume during a pandemic era where I'm sure to go orders and delivery saw a rise. The one star is for our waitress Charli. She was attentive and all smiles. The meal is something we will not be repeating. For my $21.49 rib eye I got a thin steak that IHOP wouldnt even serve (see picture). Seriously folks? I could buy a $7 chuck eye from Publix that would be a thousand times better than this. If you've been sleeping on Outback like I have lately here's a nice steak alarm to wake you up! They have shook up their menu and added some other yummy things but let's face it, we want meat in our mouth when you come here. I'll start with my steak ! It was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I got the Outback Special. The salad I got as a size and the vinaigrette was super tasty. My mashed potatoes were creamy and Delicious. My beers were nice and cold. The service was quick and friendly. They have also redone most of the outback restaurants so now they look really cool and trendy too. As I found out filet mignon is rare, they were willing to cook more. 3/5 Food I ordered medium-rare (warm red center) and even asked to focus on the temperature. Filet mignon first try is rare, second try is still rare, and third try is okay. By the time when I got the filet mignon, steak wasn't looking good because of number of cuts I made previously. 5/5 Environment Surroundings are clean and organized. 4/5 Price Price is about right, but I give 4/5 because of the undercook steak. Our family has eaten at Outback for many, many years. It was always so delicious with outstanding service!!! However, the last year or two, the quality of the food and services have gone downhill. Several times on pickup, they have excluded seasonal vegetables; I ask for extra toppings for sweet potato and don't even get enough for one serving. This most recent order, they had to replace the seasonal vegetables with green beans. The green beans tasted horrible and old! I would never have imagined giving Outback 5 stars because we went in on probably the busiest day of the year for them just after the Daytona 500 race ended. They we're totally prepared for the rush and the service was spot on. Our server Ricardo was on his game. The place was a madhouse but it was if we were his only customers. Lackluster food and horrible service! Apparently they either not train their wait staff or they don't care. Server had no knowledge on how to properly serve guests. Reaching over people to serve, serving whichever way instead of ladies first, had to request water re-fills several times, and not properly serving from the left and picking up from the right. The margaritas were tasteless and watered-down and the steaks super spicy and not cooked to order, the lobster was literally as big as my thumb and the cheesecake was not as described. We hadn't been to Outback for a while. Saw one, stopped in. We both had the Sirloin steak. It was the best we ever had at Outback. The Outback on Ganada in Ormond Beach was not the best. The steak on International was cooked the way we asked, did not have to be returned, and the salad had just the right amount of each vegetable, including 3 tomatoes, which you never see in a side salad. I wish other Outback restaurants would take lessons from this one. We will be returning. read more
