The finest dining option for Farmington (seriously) in a sea of fast food. Outbacks tend to be above average in service along with standard fare, and the Farmington location hit the spot. Although the bar was jammin', I was promptly greeted by the bar team (Trevor and ?) who were professional and courteous. My one-star deduct is for the temperature of the filet. I was only here for the filet mignon on July 20th, Thursday at 7 pm. I ordered medium rare filet mignon and they served me well done dried cooked filet mignon and so I was told they can cook another one at medium rare and they came through with rare. I am not sure who your cook is; they need to do a better job. All I enjoyed was my lobster and asparagus. However I will take my rare filet mignon home have my 13 year old cook that to perfection. Always the best. Food was spot on and delicious. This is one of our favorite places to eat at. No matter what outback we go to the service is always good. Very polite and helpful. This location had some amazing employees the host welcomed us and got us seat right away. The server got to us in minutes and was very fast to take our order. We waited for an hour, no food. There was barely any people, and people who were there after us got served first. Instead, we got bread and onions and like 8 drinks but not food! First of all Logan our server was awesome. I would give him a 10. The manager was also very courteous and helpful. However the kitchen staff need to be fired. The food was good but it took an hour to come out. We had a 16 month old and an infant and that doesn't go over well. Manager and server were both apologetic and I do not hold them responsible. It's about expectations, it has the typical classic outback food. It's a good place for large group and families when we were there the service was good and attentive. We had steaks and both were cooked how we wanted them our sides were good. My friend had the ribeye which he enjoyed and I had the Victoria fillet which I enjoyed. We had a couple local draft beers which were good. I would recommend this expecially for large groups or families. It's just important to remember you're at an outback not a high end independently owned restaurant. read more

My friend and I came here to celebrate our birthdays! We had the walkabout soup and sirloin steaks! She had a baked potato and I had the mashed....she had a house salad and I had the Caesar! We also had lemon drop martinis. The bartender was also our waiter, since not super crowded at 2 pm and he was amazing! The food was spectacular. The manager even came by and wished us happy birthday and brought us a scoop of ice-cream with chocolate sauce for our birthday! Even the hostess was friendly as can be. As things get more expensive, eating out is more a luxury and I sure appreciate that our experience could not have been better. I haven't been to outback in probably 10 years.
