I haven't been to Outback since before the pandemic, but I was missing their wings and coconut shrimp so I made a takeout order, joined there rewards program and made another couple takeout orders. Yesterday I was hungry, didn't want to cook and had a $5 "reward" so I decided to eat in. I ordered their platypus punch (?) basically a lemonade you pour a purple liquid into, kinda meh. My server brought bread when she took my drink order and checked back a couple times while I was being indecisive. I planned to get one of their 3 course specials, but bought a steak and Alice Springs chicken combo instead. The steak was perfect, probably sous vide because there wasn't much crust, the chicken was better than I remembered, my sides were steamed, seasoned broccoli and a sweet potato. This Outback Steakhouse is conveniently close by work. When there is a special event for a coworker, we like to come here. I am not too picky about steak as long it is cooked the way I like it, which is medium. We never had an issue coming to this steakhouse. The waiters and bartenders are usually nice and friendly. I like how we can reserve a section if we have a large party. The food is always good and I never have a complaint coming here. I do love getting the clam chowder which is never on the menu. But they always have it when I ask. Looking forward to coming here again. read more

The one and only time I was here was in july 2023. The food was very good, except extremely salty. My first time at an Outback Steakhouse we walked into a welcoming host and environment. I ordered a Steak 8oz, Coconut Shrimp, Side Salad and baked potato and a blooming onion It was really delicious The side salad was kinda spicy I don't know if it was the ranch dressing or the raw onions in them. I also ordered a Butter Cake for dessert it's a strawberry cake with whipped cream the cake was very dense, I was hoping that the strawberry juice would of soften it but it didn't. My other half ordered basically everything that I did but for dessert he got the Chocolate Thunder, I tried it and it was too much chocolate for me. I will be back read more

OMG! Soooooo good. I love the Mac-N-Cheese. The breading on the Mac-N-Cheese is moist but not soggy and if you put it on top of the steak sooo good! I love the lobster. I love the steak. I love the interior and the seating. My favorite meal is the filet-mignon with the lobster and Mac-N-Cheese it is the most expensive but the money isn't an issue when you come here. I Have not been to outback for years, but wanted to see if they are still good as I remember. I started off with the Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie and the Seared Peppered Ahi .The Barbie shrimp was seasoned to perfection and was very good. The Ahi was fresh and tasted as good as any that I had in other restaurants. My main course was the 12 oz Prime Rib. I have not had a Prime Rib in years and it's not something I can make at home. I requested the end cut medium rare, this way I could get all the spices from the outside of the meat. It was cooked to perfection and delicious. I also ordered just a plain baked potato that was salted on the skin . My goal would be to dress the potato with the juice of the meat. However the potato was good enough on its own . Decent place to go for a nearby meal. You pretty much know what you're getting and it's reliable. They periodically change up their menu while managing to remain consistent in their service. The serving sizes are satisfactory and our server was personable. We sat at the bar area where all the lights popped on at 3 o'clock (everything is timed there). I like the blue cheese wedge salad and ordered a steak, which was tender and tasty. We also enjoyed the fried shrimp appetizer special. I used to go to The Outback often. It was nice for our family, even with minor inconveniences such as being seated near the bathrooms or the in the bar...despite almost all the booths being unoccupied. But in recent months, the quality of the food fell off. We gave it another try when my birthday rolled around & got takeout. The steaks were extremely oversalted & overpeppered, almost to the point of being inedible. The meat is also rather tough & smaller-portioned, not like it used to be. The baked potatoes were the most disappointing. They were small, so hard & dark they looked like they'd been cooked the day before & reheated. The ribs, my birthday dinner, tasted strange & seemed tough. The one saving grace was the Cheese Fries. They were generously-portioned & cooked perfectly & the Garlic dipping sauce was great. I just wish the rest of the food was like it used to be. I agree with another reviewer when they said ordering takeout is 'stressful', as the food is seldom the same as ordering it inside the restaurant. read more

Great experience on New Year's Day at Outback. I brought my family here for the first time since we were given a gift card over the holidays. The server we had was friendly and very helpful. She frequently asked us if we needed anything or if everything we had was enough. Between the 6 of us, we ordered a ribeye, Alice's chicken, NY strip, steak frites, and two 4-course Aussies. The meats were all great, some of them were a bit more on the rare side than cooked the way we wanted but we would rather they were more rare than rock-hard. Preferably they would just be cooked the way we would have originally wanted, obviously. The fries were good, truffle fries were a little salty, baked potato was a little hard. Clam chowder for the extra $1 was totally worth it, that thing was incredible! I just wish there was MORE. Overall, good experience. Bathroom was a little hard to find. Parking was spacious and fairly well lit. We put ourselves on the wait list prior but there was absolutely no wait on New Year's. read more

But coconut shrimp was as always delicious! 6oz steak with shrimp on a Barbie but I was a little surprised that they don't make the shrimp on a Barbie like they use to. They served me four pieces of shrimp on a piece of pumpernickel bread, and that's not shrimp on the Barbie. The shrimp on the Barbie used to come with cherry tomatoes sautéed. It was so good. I have dined in and had takeout/delivery at this location over the years. The staples of the menus are obviously the steaks. When I've dined in, I've never loved nor hated the food. Sometimes the steaks are overly salty but not all the time. The wallaby darned drink is honestly what keeps me going back each time and as someone who is in the minority when it comes to not liking chocolate, I also really appreciate all the non chocolate dessert items they offer. Overall my dine in experiences have been good. However, sadly, I can't say the same for my takeout experiences. Last night and the time before that all my food arrived cold. Not a big deal for some food items, however French onion soup that's ice cold and the cheese isn't melted properly, that's pretty hard to justify when it's a side you have to pay extra for. Side salad was average, steak cooked properly but also arrived cold so reheating that pretty much ruins things. The shrimp also tasted pretty good but ruined by the temperature. The delivery person arrived ahead of schedule so it had to be on the restaurant and their timing. Perfectly average experience in person, but will not try takeout/delivery anymore. read more

We went on Saturday night, the no waiting should have been a dead giveaway, even though I did the call ahead seating, there was absolutely no wait for 6pm!!!! We were seated and they took our drink orders and appetizer order... then we asked for another loaf of bread....,we waited for what seemed like forever to get our appetizer the blooming onion, which the top petals were fantastic but when you got to center it was dripping with grease, the the bottom layer couldn't be touched. After we were finished with the appetizer they brought the second loaf of bread, and again it took forever for our meals.... The well killed burger that should have been medium well, the bloody prime rib which was supposed to be well done, the rare burger that should also should have been medium well, the chicken tenders that were anything but tender, as they were extremely dry, and my entree didn't come until about 5 minutes later than everyone else's. The raw over seasoned shrimp weren't even edible, and I made a substitution of the rice for the pasta Alfredo, which tasted like Fettuccine with milk and tons of raw chopped onions mixed throughout, not used as a garnish but mixed in.... The chicken tenders came out like the size of chicken nuggets. When I informed the manager on duty he was extremely sarcastic and not concerned about my order.
