Used to come here all the time, like a couple times a month. But each time the food has not been as good and the service too. It's been a while now since we've gone, I'd say over 6 months. So we went and gave it a try. I called ahead and the reception girl said about half hr wait, that's fine, but when we walk in there was absolutely no one there lol. Kinda weird. Anyways we all ordered and my husband ordered his sirloin medium well. Which means a little bit pink. When it came out it was burnt like charcoal!! Could barely swing a knife through it! Anyways we politely asked the waitress to send it back and give him a new one. She did. Meanwhile myself and the other 2 people in our party are eating our food and he's sitting there with no food. By the time his came out were all done. I thought it was extremely unprofessional that the manager didn't even make a visit to our table and I saw him visit a bigger table earlier. It was a younger looking manager and he didn't even bother to send his apologies about the over cooked steak. A good manager would've came over right away and apologized and offered to comp something. Nope. Nothing. Needless to say we won't be coming back here to this outback for a long time. read more

I wish I would've taken a picture of what the food looked like when we were there. It was pretty rough. The fries that we were served were soggy and not hot and it was very obvious that they were like that when they were served to us. The quality of the food has gone down over the past few years. When I first ordered my food the waitress told me that it came with two sides which I ordered and then came back 10 minutes later and told me that it only came with one side and I had to choose one. Not that big of a deal for me but since they screwed up they probably should've given me the two sides. My wife ordered a beer that took 12 minutes to arrive to the table and they said that it was because they were changing the keg. They probably should've offered her a different beer which they could've brought out right away or told her that it was going to take that long to bring out the beer she ordered. In the end the food and the service wasn't that great which is really sad because it used to be excellent. My guess is that we won't be coming back to this outback even if we had a coupon. read more

We received our bread cold and stale. Looking at the menu to find the Victoria filet mignon 9 oz which is what I have always gotten haven't been there in a few years $26.99 I almost choked on my lemon water. This isn't Ruth's cris. The baked potato soup was delicious the salad was salad my mouth was watering for a nice filet mignon steak it was terribly dry I felt like I was chewing leather. The bill came was just a friend and I we each got an app and shared a dessert my portion of the bill was $50. I felt ill. Never ever going back! read more

I am always looking forward to eating at Outback whenever I get the chance to, and this was no exception. I usually get a burger and I'm never disappointed. In my experience here I've never had a bad service. This is a great restaurant, and I know for certain that I will be coming back to this location! read more

No. If you're thinking about going here, just skip it. Food was adequate at best, and I'm being generous. Poor plating makes it look as low quality as it tastes. Half our table's food came and apparently the other half was given to another table? Which not only speaks to the service, but the clientele. Who takes someone else's order? So 15 minutes later the rest of our party's food arrived. We were celebrating a birthday. Just embarrassing. Didn't even get comped a soda for the inconvenience. Hello, I just wanted to explain the wonderful experience I had at the Outback Steakhouse in NO.Haven,Ct. I just lost my stepfather and needed to plan his funeral which is not an easy thing to do. I realized that one of the things I also had to take care of is finding a place to eat for everyone after the cemetary. As I was looking on computer for local rest.in area, I just kept dealing with people wanting a head count of a certain #of guests. How are you supposed to know who and how many are coming?? You can have 5, or may get 45 that would attend. So I clicked on The Outback Steakhouse and wound up speaking with the most pleasant person named Jaime Mitchell. He explained to me that he is not worried about how many persons I get and to just give him a call shortly before hand just for a heads-up.Just that alone relaxed me and we continued on our conversation to decide what food we should serve and how we can serve it. He was wonderful!! I could not ask for a better personality. I spoke with him several times and he was always just as nice and relaxed me that it would work out fine. Told me that I would have Patrick Stewart assisting me that day and assured me that Patrick will be pleased to have us. When the day came,we finished earlier then I had expected from cemetary,and started to head over to the rest. I called Patrick and let him know we were on our way and he then opened up the doors for us to warm up and immediately started offering us coffee/tea. He did not care that we were abit early. Patrick made everything so very easy for us and he single handedly started asking my guests what they would like. He was very pleasant and again I could not ask for more. I will say he worked very hard and never once showed any unpleasantness. Everyone kept asking me,"what made you think of the Outback?" I explained to everyone that their personalities are what did it. They are two people that just relaxed me. They did not care if I had 5 or 45 persons.Cost for our guest were more then reasonable also and dinner was great,not to mention the awesome cheesecake. We had our own side of the resturant and it was awesome. My husband and I went back a couple nights later and had dinner and wanted to also say thank you so much to them for letting that part of our loss not be stressful. Came to this location to celebrate my son's birthday before the dinner rush. The place was empty and service was extremely slow. The only meal that came out hot was the appetizer: Outback Wings. Note:The menu is not complicated. My kids ordered simple items, daughter had a Kids Mac n Cheese which came out COLD, my son had an Outbacker cheeseburger and the fries came out COLD. Hubby and I ordered two sirloin steaks which came out 30minutes after the wings. My husband's steak did not come out as ordered: Medium and neither did mine. It took two different tries for the kitchen to get a simple 6oz steak to be cooked and still the second time around it was RARE. By this time, it's already close to 1 hour since eating the wings. The manager came out and saw how inept her kitchen staff is to send out a RARE piece of meat when the order is supposed to be MEDIUM. I expressed my disappointment to the manager and how the whole dining experience was ruined. The best part is that the manager tells me she isn't going to charge me for the steaks?? REALLY?? Why would I pay for a meal that isn't right? My family frequents Outback Steakhouse, we will no longer be dining at the North Haven after this horrible experience. Outback steakhouse is officially off my list. The food quality is bad and as soon as you walk into the North Haven restaurant you can smell there stinky rugs! I ordered the wood-fire grilled Mahi with rice and it was just blah. The fish obviously was previously frozen and the rice was just bland. The food presentation is unappealing and they give you a big white plate with a piece of fish and rice and that's it no garnish or nothing to make it look appealing. The bloomin onion was full of oil you can tell it was deep fried in old grease and my son's sandwich had an old piece of yellow iceberg lettuce on it. The manager came to the table and offered to take one of the dishes off the bill but he didn't seem very concerned at all about the quality of the food. He had the nerve to say "I guess they are slacking back there". Well duh! I will definitely not be returning! Bad food and bad management! read more
