First of all the server took forever to come check in on her table, reasonably. She didn't clear the finished dishes so we could have space. She stood in the corner gossiping with her friends and coworkers. She was biting her fingernails in direct view of our table BEFORE immediately serving our food. (We watched to make sure her fingers never touched the food) I was still okay to tip 10% UNTIL our server was talking about me to her friend in the back corner booth causing her to start staring but looking away when I looked. My mother saw it too and got annoyed. She did this several times to the point I'm upset and want to leave immediately. My mother, sister, & nieces were present and I didn't want to be rude or seem confrontational or that I want anything free. I happily paid for my ordered items but the overall experience was disrespectful and distasteful. I liked the server before she felt the need to gossip about me in front of me. Came on a Saturday a little before 3:30 pm our waiter cherokee was very very nice and great. I have never had any complaints on outback or their steak and I still stand by that ! Brought my mom in for her birthday! Realized they had pretty decent prices. I really liked the 3 course special they have starting out at $15! We had not been here in a while, but a friend gave us a gift card so we headed over for dinner. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp and was pleased with the way my steak turned out. I thought the shrimp were much smaller than the last time when I came, but I guess that's just the way it is these days. My wife and daughter shared the salmon and my daughter really liked it. The only issue with it was that part of the salmon was thicker and not cooked all the way through. I will say that the staff was really gracious about it and took it back to be put on the grill for a few minutes. My other daughter had a kids meal and really enjoyed the chicken tenders. I will say that our server was super friendly and was very generous and bringing us bread as soon as she saw that we needed more. 8 of us had dinner here Tuesday evening and it started out badly, we ordered appetizers. We received bread, then we waited and waited and finally got appetizers after about 20 minutes. Our orders we requested arrived after another 15 minutes. My order was Teriiyaki filet and green beans, the filet was OK but the green beans were extremely tough and tasteless, non eatable. My wife got BBQ ribs, she took one bite and couldn't eat more. Out of 8 people, only 2 people liked their dinners. There was a light crowd for 5PM, so there was no excuse for the poor service, especially quality of food. We are non return customers read more

My favorite thing to eat at Outback is the blooming onion, always tasty crispy and so delicious. I think it's funny going to a steakhouse and ordering chicken, but I did. I ordered the lunch special, which was called Alice Springs chicken. The grilled chicken was juicy, tender and topped with sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and melted shredded cheese. My side was French fries, they were hot and crispy. My hubby ordered the grilled chicken, which was also juicy and tender. His side was steamed mixed vegetables. When going into Outback on Memorial we went to order our simple drinks at the start of our dinner... we ordered a vodka-tonic and a gin and tonic and were informed they only have soda water, no tonic water... never heard of a bar with no tonic water... so disappointed in this local franchise. The environment looked very welcoming and the music was nice, the only downside was both of my orders had major issues. The first meal of "Perfect Salmon" with a side of shrimp, mash, an asparagus arrived with a human hair in the center of the plate, lying on the shrimp. On my wife's dish of Grilled Chicken with a side of mash and mac and cheese, the chicken was bouncy, pink, and extremely undercooked. Service wasn't great - our server was training a new employee, which is totally understandable, but I felt like we had to ask for everything at least twice. The blooming onion was undercooked and the raw onion was spicy due to being raw. That's not how it's supposed to taste. The servers didn't ask us to check steaks for doneness - I was shocked since this is a steakhouse and I had told the kids to expect it. Thankfully everything was cooked to order. My only complaint about the steak was it was very salty. And the mashed potatoes were very small, much smaller than other restaurants. Also, it took over 45 minutes from ordering to actually get our food. The total dinner time was 2 hours (we were seated about 30 minutes before they took our order). We weren't necessarily in a hurry, but I feel that an hour is enough time for a sit down dinner, and by the time we left, everyone felt almost grouchy from it taking so long overall. Final complaint was that they seated our party of 5 - 3 large adults and 2 teens - in a booth. We should've asked to be moved - that's on us. Probably won't be back. read more

I was craving the Kingsland Pasta. For the most part it was good and it hit the spot, but the steak was chewy and dry, possibly overcooked. I also got a side of amazing Aussie fries with cheese and bacon, their ranch is killer. My family was not impressed by their food at all. My son said he would have enjoyed ramen noodles and grilled cheese more and couldn't believe we paid $17 for his adult chicken tender meal. His broccoli was dry. His chicken tenders were small and dry, and he called it "garbage." His honey mustard was half full and not enough. The Spouse said his $34 porterhouse was tough on the ribeye side and overall "eh" and "bland." (He can't stop himself from calling me The Wife so I'm calling him The Spouse!) He enjoyed his baked potato and he liked his vegetables. Also, the horseradish sauce was really good, according to him. This was our second to-go order from this location. Reason for one star- My daughter and I get up and walk out as my mother gets up to visit the restroom before we leave. I am looking for my phone while getting car and realize I accidentally left my phone in the seat of the booth which blends in. My teenager ran back in straight to the table someone already started cleaning and she asked lady if seen phone while she looked everywhere didn't see it and lady told her no. Mind you I could see my car and my kid and my mother standing outside of it from where she was . And as fast as they"found" itI went back in to get it could have spoke up and said here's your phone!!! We had a wonderful experience at our last visit here! My husband got a Ribeye and I got a Prime rib. They were both delicious. My husband had the garlic butter added to his and he said it was the best stake he's ever had at Outback (and he's gone many many times) and one of the Best steaks he has had period. I do think the garlic butter price is steep at over $2 for a dollop of butter?! Their ribs and their wings are some of my favorite here too and of course we love the bloomin onion. Their steaks are very good, sometimes just a little heavy on the seasoning, next time I might ask if they can lighten up on the seasoning, so I can enjoy more just pure steak. So we tried to use the app and get a spot in the line early but even though we were on time for our spot in line we still had to wait almost 20 mins. The greeter girl never smiled except when we were leaving and she was attempting to smack some boy with a rag. Our server couldn't even be bothered with picking up her tray she slid it around instead. I don't know if the sliding was the issue or not but everything with our table seemed to move at a snails pace. All the people around us who sat down after us all got their meals before us. The restaurant wasn't that full and there was plenty of open seating so I don't know why we had to wait. I have always been a fan of Outback Steakhouse. Today's visit was overall good, but had some hits as well as misses. We were told they burned our appetizer of cheese fries, but they brought some out much later, and they were very good. They did not charge us for the replacement. The steaks were good, but undercooked for how we ordered them. It had taken quite a while to get our food and silverware, so no one sent their steaks back for more cooking. I had the new awesome chicken fried chicken, and it was over cooked. The flavor was good, and I would order it again and hope they don't cook it as long next time. They also had a new appetizer called crab cake bites, and those were very good. We go to Outback often, so we were a little disappointed with this visit to this location. It melts in your mouth and was so soft fresh and warm. My husband and I both got filets they were okay but i think my husband grills better at home maybe because it wasn't seasoned how i like it and wasn't very rare. The mac and cheese side i got was cold parts of the noodles were warm but then the cheese sprinkled up top of it was cold. Baked potato was decent but it's pretty hard to mess that up. read more
