Idk if the rating makes me biased but I've eaten here via takeout more than dine in and I actually prefer it that way. I stay 5 min away from the restaurant so the option for takeout is just more convenient for me. The staff is always nice and friendly over the phone and my order is always hot when they bring it to my car. I absolutely love the convenience of paying over the phone. It's always on time or earlier than the estimated time they give you. As the lady cane to my car to take my name and slot numbers she was wearing a mask, so it made me comfortable to see that they are taking the necessary precautions to keep the place running. The soup came with burnt cheese had to be cooked again. My steak was ordered just medium, it showed up medium well, sent back after several minutes it returned this time medium rare. This place is packed and yet they got us a seat pretty quickly. People are super attentive and great atmosphere inside. The bread is one of the best over here and the Caesar Salad is great too. My pro tip is to get the outback special steak. It is not heavily featured on the menu but it is cheap and delicious. Their $5 cocktails and free Bloomin' Onion with it were a major plus. I had a Sauza Margarita frozen with strawberry flavor and it was very nice and sour. Crab cakes were good and the sauce with it was even better. I will not be going back to the Stockbridge, Ga location ever again. This location has gone downhill. The main hostess was so rude to when I asked if we were next to be sat. We had to wait 20 minutes to get sat when only 1/4 of the tables were full. We never saw a manager and one never stopped at our table. The server never checked to see how our meals were and we had to ask for refills & our check. Management has changed in the last 5 years and I can see why there were so many empty tables. The service at this particular Outback was extremely confusing. They had servers and assistant servers or runner who were communicating with each other so my party kept receiving double food and drinks. My Mom order the steak sandwich with veggies. The veggies were rock hard as if they barely cooked them. The also didn't put her dipping sauce Or Horseradish sauce on her plate so she waited about 10 minutes for that before she could eat her food. When we first arrived it toke about 15 mins for our order to be placed. We didn't receive our drinks until after the food came. Different servers were then being sent to our table and because of that we started receiving double orders. Maybe they were training that night, I'm not sure but the whole experience was kind of bad. To-go order placed for today (happy birthday to me!). Picked up easily--the curbside was quick and efficient. Everything was accurate except that the dressing was left off for my mother's entree strawberry salad. There was no vinaigrette included. I've double-checked the order, and indeed two raspberry vinaigrette dressings were requested. I hate that my mother's salad didn't include a single dressing, not even the wrong one. The other minor complaint was that one loaf of bread was included for four entrees--a little on the stingy side, especially considering we tipped 20 percent and the total paid was around $160!--but again, this is minor compared to not getting a single dressing for an entree salad. That basically meant that the meal was ruined for one of us, and that makes me sad on my birthday. The salad with no dressing looked beautiful, the ribeyes and sirloin and coconut shrimp were fine, but we live far enough away from the restaurant that going back to pick up the dressing wasn't feasible. My advice to takeout diners: I know it's a pain, but given the negative reviews from others and my own experience, check every component of your bag before you leave the takeout space. This was a horrible experience. I ordered the petite Ribeye, and it looked good when it came to the table but I soon realized it was more fat than edible meat and my loaded baked potato was cold. After sending it back my cousin offered me a bit of her steak to take home for later. I think I eat at Outback AT LEAST twice a week for lunch. I sit at work and contemplate what I want, but with the limited options of sit in restaurants with clean tables in Stockbridge, Outback wins out more often than not. The food is very decent, the staff knows my order by heart. I always get the Outback burger or the fish tacos, but it's that green aioli that I dip my fries in that really makes the meal for me. At night when I come I get that amazing wedge salad with blue cheese and balsamic, along with prime rib if they haven't run out which they VERY OFTEN do. Ordered Online @ 6:42 PM and was sent an Email that said my order would be delivered at 7:28 PM 8:00 PM and no food or any text notifications changing the time. It took about 10 mins to get someone at the restaurant to answer the phone and he said that my order was picked up around 8:00 PM and was in route. This location is in affluent Eagles Landing across from the Chick-fil-A. For some reason I thought the location would speak volumes about the business but boy was I wrong. First there is an old Quality Inn behind the property and we saw several guys that looked like bad news walking around there with nowhere to go. Walk in and the hostess was quite friendly, chatty and definitely made the wait for a table less aggravating with a small (hungry) child. My wife and I have been regulars at this Outback for 10 years because we live very close and it has been a great social and fav steak night for us. Tonight we ordered our usual 8 oz filet to share and we got a tough chewy ribeye or strip, not sure what it was but not a filet. Staff blamed the kitchen, after they took the steak away the new manager said we ate it because our second plate with my wife's loaded potato was empty.
