Our blooming onion was burnt, our steaks are over cooked. They did not give me my veteran discount. 1 of the steaks was so burnt it was uneatable. I got the steak sirloin with shrimp, fries and mashed potatoes, which i will say the shrimp was good, however the steak was very difficult to cut and was pretty much just bubble gum. however the manager was nice enough to give us a discount and took my entire plate off the bill which was nice. personally i don't think i will come here again. read more

I put us on the waitlist, but when we got there, it wasn't too busy, so we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was nice. We ordered appetizers, but when another server brought them out, she accidentally dropped them. They were on it and had new ones out immediately. When all the food came, it was good. I love the deal they have with the salad, entree, and dessert. The burger was really big. I couldn't even start eating it because I was full off the appetizers. I was a little disappointed because the server wouldn't ring up a soda with flavoring as a refill for the mock croc like at the other Outback, but she still did bring my son a regular sprite. The mock croc wasn't as colorful as it was supposed to be and the strawberry lemonade wasn't that great either. Overall it was a nice time, and they came out and sang happy birthday to my son. read more

For our visit to this location, we did an online reservation as we saw how packed they were. LoL I don't think I have ever done so for Outback, but it worked out in our favor. When we arrived, the wait was out the door and they were putting people on a waiting list. I am not sure if the day we went EVERYONE in the area decided to celebrate their birthday but it was packed with birthday parties. However, they worked the line quickly and were very effective in making sure everyone was either checked in or on the waiting list. We still waited a little before our table was available. It wasn't a long wait, but something to take into consideration for their busier timeframes. Now, this location has a smaller footprint than other Outbacks. It looks large on the outside, but once you are within the building - you see how much smaller it is. They did well in making sure you don't feel cramped in the space, but it is small. My main concern was how sticky and slick the floor was especially where we were sitting. Truly a safely concern, but it looked like no one else noticed - we chalked it up to the shoes that the staff used - it made it where they couldn't "feel" it. Outside of that, the restaurant was clean. Like I said, there was A LOT going on while we were there. I wouldn't think this was to be a norm for it to look like everyone group that came in for a birthday party celebration. So, there was a lot of them singing happy birthday to different tables. The most important part - the food. Overall, the food was good - it was Outback food to expect. All food came out timely, fresh, and hot. They did a good job timing how the food came for a table that ordered drinks, apps, and main entrees. We didn't get any bread to start the meal - come on lol you know everyone comes looking for the bread. Once we told our server, she made it right and brought out fresh bread to everyone to go. The drinks were strong and tasty. We felt the best deal was the flight to help you taste different drinks for a reasonable price. The apps came out quickly and were very tasty as well - we enjoyed the fried cheese the most! For those that had salads with their entrees, those came out in a good timing to allow us to enjoy the apps but not feel rushed. The salads were good, nothing really to note. The main entrees arrived and they didn't disappoint - for the most part. The flavoring, temp, and all were good. The only complaint one person had was serving size was small compared to what was presented on the menu. They still enjoyed it, just wished there was more to enjoy lol read more

I enjoy going about every two weeks to the bar with my wife and have always enjoyed the bar staff. This time, I decided to sit a table..... bad mistake! Had to wait for tables to be cleaned.....not for a table to be available. It seemed to me that there was no bussing staff to clear tables. We ordered and then waited again for our food to arrive which I would have preferred to arrive hot. I guess I will return to the bar seats. However, as an observer of the restaurant in motion, it appears you need better organization, better supervision, perhaps more trained staff. I loaded on the Outback app my order and type of vehicle I was driving and I would be parking in the Veterans Parking. I arrived 9:34pm and called inside,you can see the lady answer the phone through the glass. I give her my name and said I'm in the 1st Veterans Parking, flashed my truck lights...She said I'll be right out. 20 minutes later NO FOOD...I CALL BACK. Here comes my order of fried mushrooms that have been in a sealed plastic container for 25 minutes. I asked the carrier are these cold? Have they been sitting out all this time? She said NO THEY ARE HOT..I drive to vester Chevy two parking lots over..Mushrooms soaking wet with steam off the plastic lid...Mushrooms were COLD,NOT EVEN WARM...I drive to the market and throw these soaking wet cold mushrooms in the trash and call Outback ask for a manager.. I tell her what happened...She said they still learning...I say it's common sense that hot fried food can't sit in a air tight container 25 minutes in side a sealed paper bag.. I had the opportunity to eat here last night. First be warned about the quality and health standards. I ordered shrimp on the Barbie. This should be on a nice toasted pumpernickel type roll that is toasTed and has a garlic butter spread. The shrimp s/ b blackened and cook properly. Ours was a roll that was mashed completely flat and hard with no butter or garlic on the hard roll. After taking a bite and eating one, I realized the shrimp was half cooked, not blackened and very little seasoning. Next item we got was our salad. I started to eat it and it tasted weird. As I stated to pull lettuce from the bottom , I found leaves of brown slimy lettuce that were nasty. Not just one but several. so I cannot eat or enjoy my shrimp or my salad. Finally the steaks arrive and mine is cooked good, but not very warm. Tasted ok and potato was fine, nothing special. The best part was our server. I Do not have a name ,but she was awesome. I watched her take orders, help customers and then clean off tables ( which is not good since her focus s/b on customers) , however, all waitresses and waiters were doing this, so it appears to be a management issue, The next day,,,,,,, now I am paying the price for the salad and shrimp- that is all I will share. Will never go there again ordered online at 3:45 today said order be ready at 4:14 got there and parked in spot #1 at 4:10 at 4:15 get a text saying put in spot number food is almost ready be right out we did meanwhile employee comes to window 3 different times but not with our order tell him name all 3 times at 4:40 same employee finally comes out with our food that we had been watching sit there entire time to us needless to say everything cold spent 53 dollars to come home and reheat everything we generally go to goldsboro outback but live in wilson so thought we try new one but never again i spend one penny in that place read more
