I imagine under normal circumstances it may not be so easy to get a reservation last minute so I do suggest planning ahead. Their staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived to check-in. Our excursion was led by someone on their staff and they guided us through the area onto some cool trails and roads. The drive was scenic and we all had a blast. For future four-wheeling excursions, I suggest goggles or sturdy glasses/shades, a scarf to block the wind and dust, and good shoes for safety. Our tour guide made sure we stopped and enjoy some awesome views overlooking the canyons and mountains and for some memorable photo ops, too. In April, there was still some snow on the ground, so the weather was perfect for the drive.

We had no issues with the vehicle and they supplied the helmets, goggles and a cooler with ice and waters. We had tried to research where to go but the interactive map guide was great. The staff also helped us pick some trails and tried to text us with closures. All in all - great family memories. Hopefully we will be able to come back to Sedona in the future when trails are open and we would rent here again.

Easily we could have seated 5 people but this was a special trip with our dog Matilda, so it was 2 humans and her. The lovely Stevenson family are so genuine and thoughtful, we will never forget this experience! Hike House also has Hiking paraphernalia and an Energy Cafe! It's located just near Tlaquepaque, make sure you drop by! I have to add that every time we saw a guided open air Jeep tour, we felt a little sorry for them! We rented an ATV for a four-hour ride, and barely one hour into our rental the transmission…read morecompletely failed, leaving us stranded in the middle of the trail. Before even contacting the company, we took the time to try and move the ATV off of the trail so it wouldn't block other riders. Between waiting for assistance and getting back to the store, we lost roughly an hour of the rental we had paid for. When we returned, we were met by the manager, Ted, whose customer service was nothing short of appalling. Instead of addressing our concerns, he repeatedly dismissed me and directed his responses to my husband, even telling me I should "talk to him about it." It was incredibly disrespectful and came across as blatantly chauvinistic. Despite losing a full hour because of their equipment failure, Ted refused to offer any refund or credit. His only response was that we should have "read the contract." Apparently, a contract excuses renting out an ATV with a transmission that fails after an hour. After experiencing a mechanical failure serious enough to strand us on the trail, there was no way we were willing to put our children back on another ATV from this company. Rather than showing any concern for our safety or attempting to make things right, Ted argued with us and hid behind the rental agreement. This entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch: rent out poorly maintained machines, let them break down, refuse refunds, and point to the contract when customers complain. A reputable business would stand behind its equipment and value customer safety. This one did neither. If you're looking for an ATV rental company that maintains its equipment and treats customers with respect, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Between the poorly maintained ATV, the wasted hour of our paid rental, and Ted's dismissive, unprofessional attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you are however, are looking for a horrible experience and a poor business model, look no further than right here.

However the guide was very hard to understand and his lack of knowledge about flaura and fauna was shocking given how much the trip cost. The pre recorded audio was ok, but a real guide would have customized the trip to the time of year and the specific flowers in bloom and perhaps identified scat and tracks or otherwise found ways to share some passion for the canyon. There was also a mixup regarding the hike so I didn't get to do the one thing I was looking forward to most. Overall I would not recommend.

My son had never seen the Grand Canyon, and I remember…read morebooking a tour that took us to the south rim overlook, and also down to the Colorado river water level, as well as a stop in an Indian reservation. I chose this only because it was the top result in the google search I made. Instead of the view of the grand canyon, we got to spend over seven hours in a smaller bus, with no air conditioning for much of the time captive inside on a very hot day. Much of the tour time was spent in construction traffic on the road, and on a very dusty bumpy dirt road. There was not much of a view where we were, and the water was very muddy and dirty, compared to other locations higher up the river in the canyon, which of course is out of the control of operators. This tour was twice the money as other options, but I felt we got much less than other tours. Other tour reviews rave about the great food, but in this case, we got a subway box meal. Our driver left for a section of the tour when we got to the river, causing us to be hassled by a local ranger, who wanted to know who was on the tour and to see our permit. I was not able to provide the permit for our tour bus, and he stayed by my child until we could find the driver who had the permit. We never went to the Grand Canyon Park, or the overlook, and this tour wasted our entire day on our limited vacation. Unfortunately, our efforts to get into the park the next day were thwarted by very heavy weather, and so we will have to actually see the grand canyon another time a few years from now. This tour went through the town of Seligman, an interesting and historical section of old Route 66, and the inspiration for the Disney movie "Cars", but did not even stop there. We saw other tour buses let people out for pictures and to walk around, but not this tour. Very disappointed. I cannot imagine who this tour is designed for, but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Laura: Perfectly decisive trip leader! Kind, knowledgeable, fun, and firm. Ben: The most knowledgeable person I'll ever meet regarding the Grand Canyon and rafting. I am fortunate to have been on a trip with this legend. Kevin: Good vibes. Awesomely snarky and fun attitude. Josh: Wild and crazy, but super safe. Tony: The wisest and strongest man on the river. Super cool guy. Cris: Chill. Sits back and takes it all in, but then pipes up and adds so much positivity! The meals were incredible - I ate better in 2 weeks in the canyon than I do at home!
