I stopped by in May of 2025 to arrange for maintenanc. They were supposed to pick up the mower within a week, but it took them almost three weeks to pick up, they had "forgotten" about it. Okay, mistakes happen. In November 2025, a part fell off the mower and the mower started to clang, not a good sign. I went to Mark's on November 16th and waited 1/2 hour for my turn in line; not a big deal. I specifically told them that I needed to have the mower repaired before I left for Florida; if I waited until May when I got back, the repair time would be too long and the grass would be unmanageable. They said they would try to finish it before I left because they didn't want to store it till May. They then took a $60.00 deposit plus $1.80 charge for credit card usage. It is now December 12, the mower is still sitting in my garage, they never came. I went to their store today and I was told that they don't start lawnmower repairs till spring. If that was the case, why didn't they say it on November 16, when they took my money? I asked them to refund my deposi. They did, but. To the credit card fee. I wish I could charge them an aggregation fee and a time lost fee for my time. I am going to try tofind a different repair shop in the Spring. They lost both my blower and mower maintenance business. I will only go back to them as a last resort under duress. Be careful in your dealings with them.

Our 30 yr old lawnmower finally went DOA. After decades of intense use, it would no longer start…read morefor us. We went to R & R Lawn Mower on Dix and was greeted with two, friendly, smiling faces. Upon looking at our mower, they told us it would be best to not even go through the trouble of a diagnostic test...it simply would not be worth their time and OUR money. How freaking honest was that? You never get that anywhere else I have been. Upon realizing we needed to replace our old mower, the owner suggested buying a used one from them that they had in stock. It was the perfect replacement for us, and we felt good about purchasing from people who actually work on mowers. I am proud of this small business and I suggest anyone who has issues with mowers or snow blowers, please give them a visit. They will not try to upsale you or give you bad advice, just to make a buck. If YELP gave 10 stars, I would gladly give it to them. Keep up the great customer service, and honesty, as you have a new customer for life now!! Forget Walmart, Lowe's, and other big box stores, and support this awesome small business !!

I called R & R Lawn Mower & Snow Blower Repair to inquire about getting my snowblower fixed. The…read moreguy asked me if what brand my snowblower is and if it is the larger snowblower with the metal augers or the smaller one with the rubber paddles. I told him it is a smaller Toro with the rubber paddles. He told to bring it in. I loaded up the snowblower, drove there, unloaded it (which is not easy since I have a herniated disk) and the guy tells me that the snowblower is more than 15 years old, so he won't work on it. I told him I called and gave information regarding the snowblower and was told to bring it in. He told me I must have talked to his son who didn't ask how old the snowblower is and that he won't work on it. Then, he didn't even offer to help me load the snowblower into my truck. In the future, the owner should answer the phone so that customers are given the correct information and don't make a wasted trip to your business.
