The staff was friendly and since we have kids were were happy they enforced quiet hours of 10pm. The bathroom was clean and new, however you have to hold the chain to get water. If you do not hold the chain, there is no water so you stand there freezing while you shampoo your hair. We were able to see wildlife and even went fishing. Luckily the pool and playgrounds were open. There is 2 different playgrounds which is exciting for toddlers. They also have a place you can mine for gems, which the kids enjoyed. Unfortunately, due to COvid,some activities were closed, but it seems like there is tons of stuff normally. It does seem to be primarily RVs but that's not a problem for us. We will likely go back next year.

That includes using the restrooms or taking your dog to the dog park. This confinement policy is nowhere on their site and we didn't find out until we read the fine print of the deposit confirmation. You know - AFTER we had paid the $350 deposit for 3 week stay! As soon as we realized we couldn't take our dog to the dog park, we immediately called to cancel the reservation, only a day and a half after we made it. We were planning to leave Texas on the 1st, arrive there on the 3rd and stay until the 24th. It's not fair to the dog to keep him chained up and on leash for two weeks, and the dog park was one of the reasons we chose the place. I called to explain the situation and they did cancel the reservation, but then refused to refund the deposit, because "We've held that site for you". For a day?! And when I tried to explain that had their policy been anywhere on the site we wouldn't have made the reservation in the first place, I was met with attitude, rudeness and then the lady hung up on me! I would have even been happy with a half refund. And I don't even have a problem with the policy! Just tell me before hand so that I know this is something I can't do! This is essentially a bait-and-switch: I paid for something I'm not allowed to use I'm disappointed because we were really looking forward to the trip and the campsite looked great. Before I made the call to their office, I was even planning to go there at some point in the future. But now, between their business practices and flat out rudeness, that's not going to happen. I'm attaching 2 pictures - one is the reservation confirmation with NO mention of the policy and the other is the deposit receipt with first mention of the quarantine policy in fine print at the very bottom of a long email. And I hate that I have to give them any stars at all.

On the other hand, because of so much COVID-related isolation, quarantine and fear, it was refreshing to be in a place where that fear was not present. You could hear the laughter and jovial conversations of neighbors as well as children running and playing together. 1 big con for us was that the showers were only open 2 hours in the morning (9-11 AM) and 2 hours in the afternoon (5-7 PM). We wake up early and shower every morning before our 6 AM meditation but since the water was off in the morning we had to resort to "birdie bathing" in the sink. And even then, they did not turn on the water one afternoon and we were there waiting in the bathroom for 30 min until one of us finally told the employees to turn it on. They said that the person on duty must've forgotten...It was 5:30 by then. The limited hours is annoying, I would recommend extending them and also being punctual and responsible with turning the water on so that you don't have a bunch of dirty campers lined up outside of the bathroom to use the shower. Overall, the experience was positive and the environment was relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and it was a worthwhile visit because we had first-time campers with us. That being said, I would probably not visit again. Been there done that.

Just returned from a one-night group camping trip to Triple Brook. We picked this campground…read morebecause it's close to Delaware Water Gap and not a state campground (read: alcohol is permitted. Hooray for responsible consumption!). We were a little concerned at first because we couldn't make a reservation for a single night, and we had trouble finding a flexible arrangement for group camping. When we arrived at the campgrounds, the people who checked us in were cheerful, polite, and flexible. Instead of forcing all fifteen of us to get individual sites, they let us put two tents on each site-- a substantial savings for us, and much better for the communal gathering that we wanted. We had a cozy spot in the woods, next to a brook. Each individual site was on the small side, though there was enough room for a car, tent, fire ring, and picnic table in each one. I think the campground uses golf carts as taxis-- these golf carts drove by quite often, but other than that, our campsite felt pleasantly secluded. The grounds themselves are generally well-maintained. The bathrooms were a little nicer than what I've seen at other campgrounds-- the stalls had shower curtains strung up for privacy instead of doors, but they were well-stocked with toilet paper and soap. Each site had water and electricity hookups, great for washing cooking equipment and charging cellphones. The public grounds were a little iffy: the miniature golf course has seen better days (one of the obstacles had a giant orange traffic cone covering a sunken corner) and the pool was locked, though we couldn't see any notices about open hours. We didn't visit the animal farm, though we caught a glimpse of a pony grazing behind a fence. Overall, our group had an enjoyable night of grilling over the fire, making s'mores, singing campfire songs, and gazing at the trees. Since the individual campsites are small and spaced close together, I'm not sure what the experience would be like on a busy weekend, when all of the sites are full. During our trip, though, we had a tranquil spot on a good weekend, and we will definitely look to Triple Brook when we plan our next camping trip.

Just got back from our second stay at Camp Taylor; the last was in September 2021 and we loved it…read morejust as much this trip as the last! We camp at the rustic tent sites, and there is plenty of room for 2 cars and 2 tents. Depending on how you want your setup, there are sites that are more secluded and some that are closer so you can maybe plan a group outing and stay at adjoining sites. The staff are all lovely and take the time to explain the rules both in-person at check-in and on the forms they provide. They are not hiding how seriously they take rules like quiet hours, and it will keep campers like me coming back. If you are respectful of the folks around you and especially during the posted quiet hours, you will have no problems. The office and shop keep supply of snacks, gifts, and firewood that burns well. There are flush toilets mapped in spots of the tent sites, and showers available at the same complex as the office. We already can't wait to come back!

The bathrooms and showers are clean and the store sells ice and firewood (no outside firewood allowed). Each tent site has water and electricity, a fire pit (with built in BBQ grill), and a picnic table. There's a play field with 2 Cornhole sets (bags can be borrowed from the store) and a pond for swimming (but no dogs allowed). There's good hiking and access to a river nearby about a short 10 minute drive away. Prices are higher than other spots in the area - tent sites are $55/night for 2 adults plus $17 per adult per night with max of 4 adults per site. If you arrive before 3pm, they'll charge you $6 per person for an early check in (unless it's a busy weekend when you'll have to pay for an extra night at $55). I arrived at 1pm and hoped they'd just waive the fee given that it was a super slow weekend and there were a ton of tent sites available (including mine), but unfortunately the manager insisted that I either pay the additional fees or wait around for 2 hours. The staff were very nice and sweet and were willing to compromise given the absurdity of the rules based on just a 2 hour early arrival, but then unfortunately their manager (elderly guy - based on other reviews I'm gonna guess it was Mr. Taylor) came out and was rude and condescending about the whole thing which was disappointing, particularly since I've been to this campground several times over the years and usually have a really good experience. Other than Gramps McRuderson (aka Mr. Taylor), I had a decent time with my friends here and would consider going back (so long as we don't cross paths with Mr. GrumpyFace on one of his "bad" days lol).

The skies were blue, surrounded by green as far as the eye can see, birds were chirping and the warm sun beaming. The campground is beautifully maintained, everyone is very respectful of other campers. The sites are far enough away from one another that it really feels like a camping trip. It's also close enough that I can walk over to the next site to visit a friend. All the sites come with a small cabin. It's very basic but it's sufficient if you chose not to tent camp or if you bring kids or dogs and prefer to stay inside. I woke up to bunnies running all over the campsite. What a view and what an experience! A friend camping near the water spotted a baby brown bear! If you're looking for a fun camping experience with friends, family, your partner or just by yourself I would highly recommend this place! The views are amazing, the locations is clean and well kept, there's firewood that can be purchased on site, it's a quick 90 minute drive if you're coming over from Philadelphia.

We stayed at the Creekside campsite and definitely want to return. We had an absolutely fantastic and serene time on their property. I was very excited to get to see a Black Bear up somewhat close, which also can be scary if you aren't expecting it, but the owners let you know and it seems fairly common there. At dark, we also saw three chirping otters floating down the river together... very adorable. It is way more wild than other campsites, so of course leave your food and cooler in your car. Definitely BE CAREFUL when using the suspension bridge as it slants a bit and can get wet! Firewood will be under a tarp next to some crates along the beginning of the main camp road.
