Just returned from a one-night group camping trip to Triple Brook. We picked this campground because it's close to Delaware Water Gap and not a state campground (read: alcohol is permitted. Hooray for responsible consumption!). We were a little concerned at first because we couldn't make a reservation for a single night, and we had trouble finding a flexible arrangement for group camping. When we arrived at the campgrounds, the people who checked us in were cheerful, polite, and flexible. Instead of forcing all fifteen of us to get individual sites, they let us put two tents on each site-- a substantial savings for us, and much better for the communal gathering that we wanted. We had a cozy spot in the woods, next to a brook. Each individual site was on the small side, though there was enough room for a car, tent, fire ring, and picnic table in each one. I think the campground uses golf carts as taxis-- these golf carts drove by quite often, but other than that, our campsite felt pleasantly secluded. The grounds themselves are generally well-maintained. The bathrooms were a little nicer than what I've seen at other campgrounds-- the stalls had shower curtains strung up for privacy instead of doors, but they were well-stocked with toilet paper and soap. Each site had water and electricity hookups, great for washing cooking equipment and charging cellphones. The public grounds were a little iffy: the miniature golf course has seen better days (one of the obstacles had a giant orange traffic cone covering a sunken corner) and the pool was locked, though we couldn't see any notices about open hours. We didn't visit the animal farm, though we caught a glimpse of a pony grazing behind a fence. Overall, our group had an enjoyable night of grilling over the fire, making s'mores, singing campfire songs, and gazing at the trees. Since the individual campsites are small and spaced close together, I'm not sure what the experience would be like on a busy weekend, when all of the sites are full. During our trip, though, we had a tranquil spot on a good weekend, and we will definitely look to Triple Brook when we plan our next camping trip. read more

This might be my favorite campground I've been to, staff was super nice and helpful, lots of amenities, spotless bathrooms and a great location,even has a fishing pond. I recommend to anyone wanting to have a great camping trip to come here. read more

Clean, organized RV spot. Friendly staff. Lots of "permanent sites". My hesitancy to recommend is due to the management. I think if you are a permanent site owner or a repeat guest, you are treated great. Otherwise, not so much. read more

Very happy with our decision to park our trailer at Triplebrook for the season. The owners are friendly, helpful and available if need be. The weekend activities are great. My three year old loves the hayride and had a blast doing ceramics. We spend a lot of time at the playground and sand pit. Looking forward to many more years of camping here. read more

Triplebrook has earned this rating mostly for its customer service and selective enforcement of rules towards weekenders over regulars and friends of staff. The campgrounds themselves were nice. A bit outdated but personally I don't mind that as it makes the experience a bit more genuine in my opinion. The bathrooms are small and showers limited, however not warranting of a low score due to that as they work with what they have. My experience with staff however was not pleasant. While at the pool I would watch the enforcement of rules applied heavily to some, while to others who were either regulars or friends of staff, enforcement of those same rules were overlooked. For example the pool slide. I watched the owner come out to tell a group of kids to not go down the slide head first ( which I agree with) only for an hour later a staff member come out to watch their kid go down head first. While at the pool a younger staff member who worked at the front desk, happened to be at the pool with their father and other teen aged kids who were using the length of the pool to, with extreme force, throw a ball at each other. Making it difficult for others to pass through the middle of the pool or use the pool slide which is a main attraction for kids at the pool. Once theses kids finally hit a woman in the face with the ball at full force, they were asked by a parent to use the one end of the pool so others can enjoy the pool. The young staff member turned to her father to complain that they were told to stop instead of being responsible for the company she is employed at. This parent of the young employee chose to meet the issue with hostility rather than take responsibility for their children hitting a woman in the face with a ball very hard. Which came across as entitlement being that they were "friends" of the campground therefore receive special treatment. Furthermore, at checkout when asking a few questions on checkout procedure we were met with impatience and rudeness by an older staff member. Thus adding to the horrible customer service already experienced throughout the weekend. Outside of these issues many other campers were extremely friendly. Possibly the most friendly I've experience so far. The grounds were very well kept and nice. Some things were dated however it did not take away from the positives in my opinion. While the grounds and other campers are nice, enough of the staff weren't nice enough for me to want to come back. read more

Over the past few years we have visited Triplebrook for weekend visits and thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. This year we were fortunate enough to get a seasonal site in a perfect area. We absolutely treasure our time at camp. We find the staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The campground is well maintained and the pools are clean and inviting. We find it quite peaceful and everyone seems to abide by the quiet time rules. We simply could not be happier. Kudos to Ira, Wendy and team! read more

I stayed at Triplebrook for a long weekend in July 2015. The location was well-maintained, but the amenities were so old and unkempt, they should not have been advertised. The mini golf was in disrepair; the playground equipment was damaged; the pool was inexplicably closed at random times through the day. It was the management though that made my stay a nightmare. I know Triplebrook wants a family-friendly vibe, but my friends and I (3 early 30's guys, 1 wife, 1 girlfriend) seemed to be typecast as we walked in. Even though we quietly stayed to ourselves on our 2 adjacent campsites, the management would constantly ride up to us on golf carts and make sure we weren't up to trouble. It was very... bizarre. It's very hard to explain how off-putting it is to be clearly unwelcome for no reason. Perhaps he thought we were college kids who were going to booze and destroy the place, but the owner Ira made sure that we had no peace, morning or night. He was constantly making runs to both our site and what we later learned to be another larger group of 5-6 sites of 30-somethings way down at the other end of the campground. Ira complained to us about everything, our cars weren't parked straight, our cars were blocking access to the road, our tags weren't properly hung... everything he could. I felt like he was a drill sergeant and we were getting demerits. Frustrated, we talked with the long-term seasonal campers about him and sure enough, he's really, really obnoxious towards any non "single family groups" (meaning 2 parents with 1-2 small children). If you're in a group and not just a mom & dad with kiddies, you're in for a rude, placating lecture at all hours of the day and night. Now you may be thinking that "oh well, I'm a family... I'd love a stickler owner who yells at people who aren't me"... But there were families adjacent to us, with screaming kids, loudly playing guitar music well beyond quiet hour. They were really obnoxious, but we aren't the kind of people who complain. It was after midnight and we couldn't sleep if we wanted to, so we figured we'd play music on a cell phone (classic rock, nothing vulgar BTW) while we sat around the campfire. It wasn't nearly as loud as our neighbors so we figured we weren't hurting anyone. Within what felt like 2 minutes, the owner came barreling to our site on his golf cart like a bat out of hell, PAST the kids screaming and the drunken dads belting Tom Petty on the guitars, to complain that WE were being too loud and using radios after quiet hours which was against the rules! It would be one thing if he was just a chop-buster to everybody, but he seemed "out to get us" from the very beginning. Maybe if he doesn't single you out you might have a good time, but man oh man, if this owner decides you're trouble... you had better just turn around and leave because he will stop at nothing to make sure you are as miserable as he seems to be. read more

i wouldn't give this campground any star. we had been going to this campground for quite sometime and never had any issues. we took 3 other families with us and they rented the deluxe cabins which had a broken tv and the refrigerator had a very foul smell that they couldn't fix. the first night 11pm on the dot everyone around us were told nicely by the security guard to lower their music...which is typical for campsites. the second night the guard commended us for keeping our word and respecting their rules. he was a very nice old man we even offered him a plate of food. the third night we had the music very low at 2 am but hadn't realized we our voices were echoing and we had in fact been a little loud. but the guard had passed and didn't say anything. shortly after the owner came screaming at us on top of his lung. he threatened us infront of our little kids to have the troopers drag us out for disordely conduct. could he not speak to us in a calm fashion???? did he not care about the children??? he was screaming on top of his lung and it was soooo embarassing. not everyone there was drinking. i have never in my entire life been so disrespected. our kids were scared and crying. how he thinks its okay to harrass people like that is beyond me. i will make sure and report this to the bbb, consumer affairs and i will be speaking to my attorney also . this was clearly harrassment . the next morning they were very nasty to us as we checked out didnt even allow us to pickup the tent for one of the familes that came with us whos checkout time was 2 hours later. my husband and cousin walked with a heavy tent because we werent allowed in to pick it up. in the office as i was handing my keys the owner admitted treating us horribly because he had to wake up 2 am to tell us off. sounds like he cant controll his ego/emotions and had to take it out on someone. could the guard not tell us to turn the music off??? do not ever go to this camp ground!!!!!!!!!! read more

The customer service is horrible!!! I made reservations for a cabin for a wedding and they did not tell me that I would have to pay for each child staying in the cabin. When I called the manager Ira he was very rude. I asked told him that when I made the reservation Kimberly did not ask me how many people are staying and that I want my money back. The manager said to me that is how it is and if you want you money back you will get charged a $10 fee. The day of the wedding Ozzy the other manager was very bossy. The kids accidently ran into the wedding reception area and Ozzy screamed saying that the bride does not want anyone in the reception area. They are very unprofessional, and bossy. I had an awesome experience the weekend I stayed. I reserved two cozy cabins and they were clean and comfortable. The camp was close to all the hiking trails and sights near the water gap and the staff was super polite and happy to answer questions, as my family and I were not familiar with the area. The pool onsite was clean and well maintained and the restroom facilities were medically sanitary. We stayed the following Monday as we were so pleased with the experience. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to hike the Appalachian trail or see any of the amazing sights that the Delaware water gap has to offer!!!! read more

Do not waste your money! Absolutely terrible customer service from the manager and the owner Ira! First of all, we were not notified that NONE of the activities would be not be available when we booked it, and still charge the same amount as if you were able to use all the activities. There was no activities for children besides the pool & playground. They sent out an email 3 days before to bring your own chairs and coverings which I did not see and it was after the 10 day cancellation fee and after I bought all my camping supplies and food- too late to book somewhere else anyway. They would not put up the umbrellas at the pool because they did not want to sanitize it after used meanwhile it doesn't matter that people are opening up the gate, touching the handles to the pool and in the pool with no mask?! I had a 4 month old baby with me that was getting a sunburn, I have older children that wanted to use the pool and there was not much else for them to do. That is not what the worst part of the camping trip was... The customer service from the owner was absolutely disgusting, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He refused to give any kind of discount but he did offer to give my money back for me to leave, I was not going to disappoint my kids even more after they were very excited for a carnival themed weekend and did not experience that or any of the other activities they say are offered on the site, and we live 2.5 hours away and leave the rest of the other 5 families that I was with. The owner was angry and yelling to the whole pool area that just so everyone knows he is offering to give my money back. I was appalled at his at his behavior! They also have a n AC, TV and fireplace in the cabins but they do not work- just a nice tease. I will be telling everyone I know of this terrible experience! read more

The day I got there I had truck trouble, I was leaking fluid. There was absolutely no cellular signal in site P3 on Verizon or AT&T. In fact, I had to drive a while to get a call out. I realize this is really not the campground's issue, but I think people need to know there is no service there. Being that I was only there for literally 15 minutes, I might not be a fair reviewer. However, I wasn't impressed with the grounds. The road to my site was only wide enough for one vehicle and it was very unsettling when a pickup came toward me towing a travel trailer of at least 28'. All I could do was sit there and hope he could navigate around me. Additionally, the site was really small. The rules say not to move the fire ring. I would not have been able to build a fire where it was. It would have been too close for comfort to the truck. The staff seemed nice and they tried to be helpful but I wish they would have investigated if I had the option of paying to keep the site (or a different site) for the week before insisting I speak to some mechanic that was a seasonal. All in all, I felt trapped having no cell signal and being dependent on strangers. I opted to leave and run the risk of a major breakdown before getting to the highway where I could be easily towed. In my opinion, that doesn't say much for the campground. read more

This is literally the worst campgrounds I've ever been to. At arrival we received a booklet of rules which pretty much constricts you from doing anything more than sitting in your tent quietly. The owners were extremely rude and uninviting. We were enjoying a nice family bbq when one of the owners stopped by and yelled at us for no reason...he really killed our peaceful vibe. They had gulf carts passing by the campsites every five minutes to make sure no rules are broken which really disturbed the peace and privacy. Talking of privacy there is none. The camp sites are tiny and squashed together. We thought it was a safe family campground and were really disappointed to wake up and see some of our stuff stolen. I go camping in nature to feel free, camping at triplebrook campground made me feel like I'm in a prison. read more

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. We were pleasantly surprised. Only problem we had was that it says "kitchenette", which we thought meant cooktop, but there was just a microwave, sink, and good-size campus fridge. Guess we should have clarified. Cabin was clean and good size. Shower was on the smaller side, but good enough. Toilet was like an RV toilet that led to holding tank. Fine for us, but others might like regular flush. The campground is very nice overall. Some of the sites for larger RV's looked too close for my tastes, but there were plenty of people there. We walked the grounds each morning and checked out the other bathrooms. They were clean and well kept. read more

We always stay at this campground at various times of the year and we have tried different sites through the campground. The only thing that bothers us is the lack of respect that campers that don't know proper etiquette and come from the city just to get away and make it a hassle for anyone near them. The owners are quick to let the offenders know in a very respectful way and everyone can get along. The bathroom facilities are always clean. The ground are well kept and each site is very nice. The owners are always pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay there seasonally, but with small kids, they want to travel around and see new things. Overall a nice campground. Stayed here for 2 weeks waiting on our site at another campground. Clean neat lot of facilities, pool etc. my husband and I are living full time in our RV and rely on internet and also like Television with more than two channels. That however was very lacking! Internet was almost non existent on weekends and sporadic during the week and that was using a booster! If you aren't two old fogeys like us I would say for families it is a great place! read more

we just recently stayed at the Triple Brook Campgrounds for 4nites and 5 days at sites P8-P12. I do like the sites P11 and P12, very big and secluded.....except for the constant traffic of golf carts driving past our site 24hrs a day!!?? I not talking about Grandma and Grandpa, I m talking about souped up golf carts with colored blinking lights and loud music. I am not kidding. I was told by the front office that these are residents of the camp grounds??? So that ok for kids to be driving the carts as well??? We had 6 kids under 10 yrs old, and it was a constant issue,wether it was them speeding past our site or driving past blasting music at all hours of the day and night. Not family friendly at all!! The staff at the front desk was very brief and unfriendly. When you click on things to do on site, the first thing that pops up is "fishing in our well stocked pond". They failed to mention that the pond is across the street from the campgrounds and it was so choked out in algae and plants, that my kids went thru about 10 hooks and bobbers each!!?? We just returned from a trip to Triplebrook (Oct 4-6 2013) for my birthday. The first evening was nice. The second evening, a Saturday night, around 7:30 or 8:00, we were sitting by our campfire and all of the sudden heard loud DJ music blasting from the pavilion for all the campground to hear. When we complained to the manager, he was belligerent stating that this was a "family" campground. Hmm, blasting Miley Cyrus "Wrecking Ball" is for families? We don't have children, but we are still a family, and if I had a child I would not want her or him listening to any of the music, at the level of 80 decibels, that was blasted throughout. When we checked out, my husband made the point that he researched their website (http://triplebrook.com/) there was no mention of a Saturday night DJ and the owner threw the activity list at my husband, which was not provided to us when we checked in. Had the website mentioned that there would have been a DJ blasting music throughout the campground, my husband would not have made the choice to take me there for my birthday. We told the owners that we would be writing a negative review, to which the gentleman replied, "we will choose to ignore it." I hope whomever reads this does not choose to ignore this review if they are looking for a real camping experience. We have been going to campsites similar to this for years and have never experienced such rudeness, other than Camp Taylor. read more

Stayed here for several days recently and I would advise you stay far far away. Not only does this place smell terrible, the management is hellbent on harassment. The owner tried to fight several people in our group over the course of the weekend. He chickened out each time. He also pretends to be a firetruck running through the woods mouthing siren noises while covering/uncovering a flashlight in his hand. I would never recommend you stay here, unless i hated your guts. Its super far from the Delaware water gap. They did not have pickles in their store and their ice wasn't as cold as it should be. One Star. read more

I camped there in a cabin in the middle of July. We camp alot and loved it there. The adult pool was so nice , clean and beautiful gardens around it. The kids pool looked real nice with a great water slide and a petting zoo for the kids with hayrides at night. The cabin was nested nicely along a brook . Alot of nice sights for RV and Pop ups. Bathrooms spotless, always cleaning them. The owner so friendly thats a plus. Your not on top of each other and woods between the sights that i thought was a plus. I highly recommend them. read more

We camp here as a family and/or with other families or I come with just the gurlz. Been coming to Triplebrook for at least 15 years. we love it. convenient, clean and fun. We stayed at triple brook this past weekend. My husband and I had a cabin with out daughter and her friend and our friends had the cabin next to us. The grounds were very clean and although the cabin seemed larger in the pictures, it was clean and worked for us for the weekend. I have to say the only friendly person we met at the office was a woman with blonde hair. The tall gentlemen and the woman with brown curly hair were not friendly at all and I think they are the owners. When we checked in we were not given a list of the activities or told about them but did notice them on a chalkboard. When I asked what the arts and crafts activity was I was told "I don't know, coloring or something, I think". My husband and our friend went up to an open field to fly a remote control plane and a remote control car in the middle of the day and were told they could not. While we were at the pool I had a clear beverage in a solo cup and a woman who I would bet money on that did not work there told me I could not drink it or she would be fired. They definitely cater to the people who keep RV's and pay for seasonal/ year round sites. read more
