we had a double birthday catered at our condo and our chef was excellent. Her food came out right on time. Everybody enjoyed the experience of a seafood boil. We had 20 people and would do it again in a second excellent experience.

We had a Labor Day Boil with the neighbors and it was sensational. We had shrimp and crab legs in our boil and both were so fresh and delicious. The spices and seasonings were some of the best I've had. The boils come with cooking directions so it was very easy. They even give you the pot to keep. We got great service from Scott and he was very communicative when changes had to be made. This is a carryout only so no seating available. Definitely check them out if you love seafood.

Ask the Community - Outer Banks Boil Company

Can I order thru grub hub or door dash?

At this time we're not set up with any food delivery services.

Do you get a pot to use or keep? Or do you "rent" the pot and bring it back?

Hi Art. Yes, you get a pot to use, and it's yours to keep. You don't rent it or return it. All of your ingredients come right in your pot, and you'll use that to cook your boil right on your stovetop.

I went with the mushroom tacos, hold the sauce which did contain dairy. Our grandson devoured his grilled cheese crust and all. And my husband enjoyed his burger and fries. We appreciated our nice server Will who was friendly and attentive. No doubt folks pick this spot for the toes in the sand beach experience but all in all we had a great time and enjoyed good food.

She started us out with baked oysters and they were good, but it was too much bacon and cheese for me personally. It overwhelmed the oyster flavor, but if you're trying oysters for the first time or wanna please a picky group then these are good. My daughter got the stuffed flounder with corn casserole as we called it, as her side. It was delicious! Probably the best thing ordered! Tacos and kids grilled fish was great too! Definitely a solid amount of fish nuggets in the taco. The fries were some of the best ive ever had. For the seafood feast, we ordered scampi style and it was good, but it reminded me of a clam sauce style, not really buttery and garlicky. It was still good, but what disappointed me was the melted plastic bag served at the table. It was difficult to open, even our server had trouble opening. Idk why everyone loves serving food in plastic bags. It's sooo hot from the steam that plastic leaches into the food. I don't get the infatuation with this, unless you're ordering to go. The fans upstairs are a nice and necessary touch and not too hot up there, despite being summer in July. I would go back and order the stuffed flounder again! Seriously, that was the best thing we ordered. Ashley was johnny on the spot too!

The first time we were served by Angel at the bar and she made rum runners on the rocks & my wife had the mango paradise. Both were very refreshing! So much so we had several each as we watched the Cubs on TV. Fly the W! Angel and the vibe at the bar is very chill & welcoming. Our second encounter was for dinner a couple of hours after our first encounter and even at 8:30PM there was still a wait. We actually ate outside at one of the booths where its first come first serve. This time we just had a couple of beers each along with our entrees. I had the Seafood Combo which was trigger fish & shrimp (blackened) with 2 sides (fresh greens beans & cole slaw). My wife had the Sunset Shrimp Pasta Bowl which had 9 pieces of shrimp in a cream based sauce which she said was fantastic! We also got a free t-shirt for our efforts! Woohoo! If visiting St. Augustine Beach give the Sunset Grille a try!

The ruby reds are fantastic. Easy to peel and the cocktail sauce was nice. Should have ordered more. The butter is too watery and doesn't provide much flavor for it. The grouper was bland and boring. Blackened is apparently just burnt without flavor. The cream sauce didn't help. The collard greens I took one bite and that was it. Just nothing to it. The beans and rice was ok. Coconut shrimp was too sweet with the pina sauce. Just ok. Kids loved the kraft Mac and cheese. And the burger was very bland. Nice bun though. The key lime pie was sweet but the crust was good. Their service is quick and the food is served even quicker.

GOOD: Good size portions, reasonable prices, especially for cocktails. The same margarita would be $14 elsewhere. I had the "Wrap it up mango" tuna wrap with fried plaintains as my side. Plaintains were a big portion, so I took half home. The wrap was very tropical with fruit and sushi grade tuna. I ate it all, which was greedy of me, but I enjoyed it and felt overfull (my bad). Hubby had the clam and shrimp chowder and 2 apps. Very tender clams, thick texture and more shrimp flavor than clam, tasty for sure. Conch fritters good and in our top 5 (we get them everywhere and have been disappointed but now here). The wings were cooked perfectly, not heavy and crispy. The key lime flavor was good but too light. BAD: Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. The other servers seemed right on top of the other diners. 2 person tables are a bit too small if you order multiple appetizers. But nothing bad at all here.

The location is what keeps the place busy, it's certainly not the food. My wife and I both had the street Tacos, I had mahi, and she had steak, and we ordered the Calamari appetizer, The tacos came out first, so we indulged, they were small in size, but tasty, the portion of fish was minimal. The side that came with them was a handful of tortilla chips. Dry unsalted, and unaccompanied with any kind of salsa, or dip. Not even a slaw! Half way through the meal the server came by, and we told her to cancel the calamari, she apologized, and when we finished, the calamari arrived! There are a lot of food options in the area, I would not recommend this place, unless you need a "T " shirt!
